You actually pictured and depicted the complexity of Oswald brilliantly through parallels, voiceovers, same scenes, narration. The background song is sadly great, yet it steal your emotions away. Wow, I got goosebumps watching your edit. It hit me harder than the actual episode. I didn't fully realize Tabitha's death until now?? The dialogue in this is so intense, I love how you showed both sides of the story. I really loved Tabby but I'm absolutely on Oswald's side when it comes to getting revenge on her for what she did. I still tear up when I see the scene with Oswald and Gertrude. She was his mother and the only person he had, I can't imagine anyone would ever get over this. Tabitha will be missed though, Barbara's expression broke my heart. Again, I really really loved this edit..you never fail to amaze us

Seriously, an avarage person would be mad; even bruce went on a hunt (and bailed), so - Oswald? the tiny little one with BPD and continues truma? the one who literally fed to his "step mom" her own children (his step siblings, which he murdered) when he realised she murdered his dad? I mean... really, just, come on now. Also, I'd say, I'm not a revengful person myself, but this was such a well thought story arc, and I applaud for the writers (................whom I mad at for cowardly not making Nygmobblepot a cannon. Still, I recognize their good work). All in all, SPELLBOUND, YOUR EDITS ARE MASTERPIECES. Geniusly put parrallels, pick of scenes, everything... Captivating! I was totally convinced in 5x01 that Oswald saw the two of them as friends and he appeared like he missed him cuz in his mind he blamed Tabitha for his death. Looking back, Butch was only person besides Jim who has never called him "Penguin" to his face, only "Oswald". Butch and Fish knew him the longest, and while thugs at the club called him Penguin back when it was an insult, Butch respected the little guy enough to call him by his name. Such sadness.

Brilliant! I love what penguin did with getting revenge on Tabitha. I never liked her and when killed her I was so happy and Oswald is right, Butch’s blood is on Tabitha’s hands. Tabitha killed Butch when she put a knife in Penguins mother’s back after holding her captive for 2 weeks.
I feel like Theo was the true villain Tabitha was under his thumb and was not in control and at the same time I feel like Butch had the right idea when he said "We've all lost something." I feel like Oswald could have chosen forgiveness and Tabitha would have grown to become a better person after being reunited with Butch but because of his need for revenge he perpetuated the same sensless cycle of seeking power, revenge, and death that got his mother killed. Yes Tabitha killed his mother but Penguin's choices got his mother in that situation and yet he continued to seek out power repeating the same mistakes. I truly think Oswald could have avoided so much pain if he just learned to forgive and I feel like he just used his mother as an excuse to commit evil acts. It's hard to hate either character when you know where both were coming from Tabitha just did for her brother what Penguin's goons do everyday and yet Oswald still sought a life as a criminal becoming exactly like Theo in many respects.
THIS! 100% Bro. I hate Penguin for what he did though. Because at the end of the day, Penguin has probably killed hundreds, maybe even thousands of innocent people. A lot of them probably mothers too. So what you're saying is correct, Penguin and his psychopathic actions are really at fault for his mother's death.

This was an amazing edit, I always loved how gotham portrayed his mother’s death, they made us feel for her and care about her, and understand their relationship, and then when we had actual hope that the stress and fear was over, they ripped her from us. That is the kind of family death Thomas and Martha Wayne should’ve gotten, a death that actually effected the audience and made us understand exactly how painful their deaths were to Bruce. And that is also why the villains have always been the best part of Batman.
You know. If Tabitha really wanted to kill Oswald, why didn't she just shoot him with an arrow like she did with his henchmen? Like. You can argue that she wanted it to be personal, but still, she really should've done anything but directly engage him. This edit is fucking gorgeous btw. Oh wow this is powerful! You really captured that whole revenge plotline with Tabby and Oswald perfectly, and I hadn’t even thought about how Oswald had sort of started the cycle over again by killing Tabby in front of Barbara before you pointed that out in your video! I’ll miss Tabitha - I was hoping they would stretch out the Oswald/Tabitha rivalry for longer (at least a few more episodes), but I know they probably had to rush/scrap a few things since it’s the final season. But anyway - great work!!
It actually goes beyond that Theo's motive was revenge for his family and he waited a long time to do it. In exacting his revenge Penguin became the man who caused his mother's death, he killed his mother's killer but now that he did he has nothing left of her and has become Galavan. By exacting this revenge Penguin finally lost everything that truly matters.
Yeah, I was really hoping for the scene between them when Tabby dies to be in the fifth episode but you're probably right that they couldn't do that cause they had to rush it. I wanted to see the fight a couple times and both get away and one or the other just be pissed that the other wouldn't just die.
This is sooo sad! Even though Oswald is my favorite, it’s still sad he killed Tabitha. Still, this was the best solution to their conflict, too bad both Butch and Barbara had to be hurt in the process. Awesome editing btw.

I honestly could see where both sides where they had their wrong. But Tabitha didn’t love butch. If she did she would have said she did when he was still in Grundy from. And she did get what she deserved when penguin killed her. And that was also a really good twist when penguin shot butch. But I think we all knew this would end in tabitha’s death. Because we have to face it. Penguin has been a character from season one and is a very popular character and Batman villain. And she is introduced in season 2 from a family we know nothing about.....

Season 5 of Gotham , was by far the best season ever . Oswald getting revenge on Tabby best storyline ever !! We all watched oz look like he had almost , got over his poor mother’s murder . But wow season 5 we had penguin back to his old self again .. and I 1000% support Oswald in his revenge awesome video

I’ve rewatched it dozens of time, and I adore all the parallels you’ve made and the intense dialogue combined with the sad music. The one thing I like about Gotham is how Batman's Rogues gallery has had their beginnings. As well as Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth. The creativity in the mindsets of Penguin, Joker, Riddler, Catwoman, etc. and even Two-Face should be applauded. I don't really care about the supporting characters, (I can't stand Tabitha or Barbra's characters just exhausting and too bad they were not killed off earlier) but one can see how Batman's foes as well as himself are the individuals they are when he dons the cape. I liked that Jim Gordon is a badass and gotten dirty a few times which molds his character even more and makes it easy to see why he is Batman's good friend. Good show!!

IMO Tabitha was only interesting in Season 2 when she was a badass assassin for her brother Theo. After that she just became either "Barbara's girlfriend" or "Butch's girlfriend" depending on the season.

Oh wow this is powerful! You really captured that whole revenge plotline with Tabby and Oswald perfectly, and I hadn’t even thought about how Oswald had sort of started the cycle over again by killing Tabby in front of Barbara before you pointed that out in your video! I’ll miss Tabitha - I was hoping they would stretch out the Oswald/Tabitha rivalry for longer (at least a few more episodes), but I know they probably had to rush/scrap a few things since it’s the final season. But anyway - great work!!

It actually goes beyond that Theo's motive was revenge for his family and he waited a long time to do it. In exacting his revenge Penguin became the man who caused his mother's death, he killed his mother's killer but now that he did he has nothing left of her and has become Galavan. By exacting this revenge Penguin finally lost everything that truly matters.
Yeah, I was really hoping for the scene between them when Tabby dies to be in the fifth episode but you're probably right that they couldn't do that cause they had to rush it. I wanted to see the fight a couple times and both get away and one or the other just be pissed that the other wouldn't just die.
This is sooo sad! Even though Oswald is my favorite, it’s still sad he killed Tabitha. Still, this was the best solution to their conflict, too bad both Butch and Barbara had to be hurt in the process. Awesome editing btw.

I honestly could see where both sides where they had their wrong. But Tabitha didn’t love butch. If she did she would have said she did when he was still in Grundy from. And she did get what she deserved when penguin killed her. And that was also a really good twist when penguin shot butch. But I think we all knew this would end in tabitha’s death. Because we have to face it. Penguin has been a character from season one and is a very popular character and Batman villain. And she is introduced in season 2 from a family we know nothing about.....

Season 5 of Gotham , was by far the best season ever . Oswald getting revenge on Tabby best storyline ever !! We all watched oz look like he had almost , got over his poor mother’s murder . But wow season 5 we had penguin back to his old self again .. and I 1000% support Oswald in his revenge awesome video

I’ve rewatched it dozens of time, and I adore all the parallels you’ve made and the intense dialogue combined with the sad music. The one thing I would have loved though is if you managed to incorporate this quote ruclips.net/video/67y7wAEeMxg/видео.html (1:20) in, as I believe it really does add to the revenge plot and how it never left Oswald’s mind.

The one thing I like about Gotham is how Batman's Rogues gallery has had their beginnings. As well as Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth. The creativity in the mindsets of Penguin, Joker, Riddler, Catwoman, etc. and even Two-Face should be applauded. I don't really care about the supporting characters, (I can't stand Tabitha or Barbra's characters just exhausting and too bad they were not killed off earlier) but one can see how Batman's foes as well as himself are the individuals they are when he dons the cape. I liked that Jim Gordon is a badass and gotten dirty a few times which molds his character even more and makes it easy to see why he is Batman's good friend. Good show!!

IMO Tabitha was only interesting in Season 2 when she was a badass assassin for her brother Theo. After that she just became either "Barbara's girlfriend" or "Butch's girlfriend" depending on the season.
