So was I. I was role-playing as an LAPD officer & bro just blew up my car, and then he continued to torment me & judge me. I ended up obliterating him with my Orb Cannon, as a way of saying 'Don't fuck with my shit, motherf**ker.'

Ever since I found invite only servers, I don't play in public servers. I remember when I first installed the game I was a level one, and I had no idea what I was doing. I remember opening the map and being completely surprised that the game didn't pause. Then I called a cab and found out that I couldn't fast travel. But that was okay, I had a taxi driver taking me where I wanted to go and I was free to go through the map and try and figure out what was what. Oh boy was I mistaken. It was like a Mad Dash for everyone to come after the level one player and convince him that GTA online was not something fun to play. I couldn't do anything at all without getting killed for no reason. I went back to story mode and started a new game. It was probably a year or two before I tried to play online again. Anyways long story short, I have never just randomly killed another player who was just grinding and trying to make money. What do people actually get out of that? Aside from just being a jerk, is there some sort of benefit to attacking somebody while they are just trying to do a mission?

On PC i rarly see jets being hostile, mostly neutral or just asking around for a dog fight (atleast in europe, dunno about USA)
You can do a VIP - Fully Loaded Mission with the Ruiner - no cops
When the game first came out me and my buddy would put bounties on each other and then hop on the train or hold up in the strip club. It was a good way to get the entire lobby chasing you down 😂.
