That’s what makes him so badass. This is coming from a guy who under estimated this anime at first
The only genuinely positive force in his life since he was a child. The first being to give him a sense of joy. Fighting to see her again and ultimately to feel good again.

The most impressive fact is that gabimaru is not even using tao at the time, it was just sheer raw power and pure tenacity.
In the anime thus far his raw power is second only to Rokurota
Incorrect. He is using Tao at this point, but it is incomplete. All of his Ninjutsu is based on the incomplete knowledge of Tao. Its why when Gabimaru kicked her in the stomach earlier in the fight it actually had an effect compared to his other blows. He accidentally tapped into Tao fully for that one kick.
Ninjustu is just another word for toa. He just has no idea he's already using it.
@@RazielTheUnbornAre you sure about that? The stomach is where all Tao propagates, and any decisive strike there regardless of whether it was tao-based will be damaging.

Gabimaru may have shown that he can throw hands with a tensen, but he has clearly forgotten that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum.

Oh I was waiting for this. Such a beautiful sequence, I keep repeating it few times a day. Gabimaru is the MC of the season, hands down. It's so refreshing to see a character who has a wife and loves her more than his own life.

This is one of my favorite fights in the series. I think it does a really good job at showing where our characters lie in regards to strength against the Tensen and how in order to beat then we are going to have to learn the secrets of the island.

Gabimaru already knows the bases of the technique of the Tensen, it's why when he kicked her she actually reacted. His master has been to the island and nabbed the elixir before and uses Tao techniques. He taught them to Gabimaru so he has been using them without realizing. It's why he can survive as long as he has against one whereas thus far everyone else has been getting steam rolled.

@@RazielTheUnbornNo not really its not just the aquisition of tao the other tensen are way stronger than the one gabimaru fought, you also need atleast 2 people that are compatible with their tao so one can heal another or amplify their ability.

Crazy how it took 4 people and a whole new power system and counters for the characters to take down a Tensen, and Gabimaru just straight up goes “Nah, imma beat you faster than you can regenerate.”

This is now one of my favorite anime fights. Hell’s Paradise is truly a top tier show. I didn’t expect it to be so good.
