At this point we can't expect anything to change just by moving the lines around and benching players like Kakko. The team seems very demoralized right now, there are very few players that show consistent effort such as the Cuylle, Berard, and Chytil. Maybe Smith as well, but nonetheless most of our team looks lost. It's mostly been our young guys that have stepped up, which is concerning when our actual stars are nowhere to be found. Veterans such as Kreider, Mika, Trocheck, and Fox are supposed to be setting an example to the rest of the team as leaders. Maybe they feel too much pressure and it's hard to get out of their heads and play with confidence again, I don't know. I'm not saying it's all Lavi's fault, but something needs to change regarding the energy of this team. If that is firing our coach, then so be it.

I agree, I don't think they've hit rock bottom either. Losing to Chicago was bad, to be sure, but as you pointed out, things can always get worse and not in the ways we expect.

I was shocked at the end of the game when I saw Mika and Kreider out there...as if they were the ones that ALMOST helped tied the game

This is the most petulant and unprofessional group I've ever seen.
