My motherinlaw worked at SAS( San Antonio shoes) for 40 years as a cutter.up until the PANDIMIC. She can look at a huge pelt of leather and tell you how many right shoes and left shoes can come out of it..She LOVED her job and wishes she could go back...She is 76 and looks and feels good. ..but that's expérience.
jorge...
If you don't mind me asking, has your mother-in-law got big breasts?
Mad respect to the girl with the black nails making the thickest black work boots 💅
I have to agree. Last week I didn't like the stitching evenness, but this week the sewer was on point like a true craftsman. Kudos on sewing through that massive leather like a laser.
assumed this was a joke about a worker with a couple black thumb nails from some bad hammer aiming until i actual saw the girl hahahhaa
Looked dangerous!!!
Weston has definitely a goth sense.
But is she allowed to listen to Bauhaus at her work station 🤔
Nick's Handmade boots- $600
Hearing the boot makers discuss the new warp bubble at 2x speed while soleing boots - priceless
I managed to snag a pair of these 6 months ago from the ready to ship section on your site, best tool purchase I have ever made. Good to see them officially join the rest of your lineup.
Love the conversation about FTL bubbles and lightspeed cameras at 14:05
Best boots I've ever owned. Absolutely love my Overlanders in 1964 Brown. Awesome video...Thank you!
Love watching this. Makes me appreciate my boots all the more!
Thanks for these videos. I enjoy watching them every Sunday mornings. !
Wow 😯. So much work goes into these boots. I am impressed!
Glad to see Nick's is making these , I have a pair of White's in LTT and really like the lacing.
Excellent video! Gives us an insight on just they are each hand created! Justifying the price✌️✌️✌️...Thank u for sharing.
Gorgeous. Outstanding craftsmanship.
Really professionally done and in sharp old tradition ways. Congrats on a job well done. 👏
Talking about dexterity and hand & eye coordination! Amazing skills at each station! Boots for life!
Always amazed how you are able to make such a quality pair of boots for how affordable they are if you really think about the amount of work it takes to make. Thanks to all the hard working folks at Nick's keeping high quality boot making alive!
Glad you like them! 🤩
600 a pair is not cheap !!!
I know it good but 600 a pair of work boots make me want to cry.
Nothing i ever put on my body cost 600 including my sunday suit. ☹
@@nokia5359 I was gonna say “oh yeah? What about your phone?!” but then I caught your name.
@@nokia5359 I used to think it was a rip off. But then I investigated the costs of goods going into the boot. They are a bargain considering the material and labor cost.
@@mikeandrzejewski7956 you are funny but sharp man
I think it's truly fascinating that people still make boots like this and not some robot machinery in a factory 🙌👏🔥
They are great boots at $600 plus and a 20-24 weeks wait time But I love my Nicks !!
The oil in the shopping trolley that squashed the lace last week? Ok 😂
Love my boots… waitin on my second pair right now!
I wear a different maker's boots, and while they are very well made (I used to sell them and have toured the factory) I think I may look to Nick's for my next work boot. These are magnificent.
Interesting shop talk going on in the background at 14:15, talking about Femto-photography... But yeah, the boots are cool too!
Love the sound track, like music to my ears
Nailed it!!
There is a lot great shoe makers in the world but for a family own and very small shoe business, you guys are amazing. Pure craftsmanship at its best. First time buyer and now I will only buy boots from you guys.
A little over kill thier boots heavy ages to break in, good for some but light weight boots are the best for work
@@pineapplesideways3820 If your working on the rungs of a ladder hours a day you need that big heel and support. Try standing on a ladder for two hours with a shitty boot...your gonna hurt.
@@umbertosmith7014 I used to build houses so yes ladders and light weight boots are so much better, especially engineered ones oil, shock resistant, these Nick's would not be allowed on site with on a union site especially
@@pineapplesideways3820 They make boots specifically for specialized safety related qualifications like electrical, chemical resistant, toe protection, anti-slip, etc.
I love them!awesome boots!
You guys are pros!
Just fabulous to see how much attention to detail and quality of materials go in to each boot and to know there handmade. I’m saving for a pair I’ll order from the UK as nothing like this is available here (Lobbs would but probably cost ££££..!) great films and insight to the process.
Did you order some? I live in England and I ordered the builder pros at the end of December. The shipping cost and and waiting time is crazy!
Attention to detail? This is just how are made.
Wow amazing craftsmanship 💪
Amazing work
Looking to get a pair of Moc toes. Need to save my money for awhile. Great video, cool to see how it's made
I like the d&d magnet on the sewing machine
A thousand steps. Amazing.
Okay… Why do your videos make me hungry and a little spent every time?! 😍
Ficou show! Parabéns! Linduuuu.🇧🇷👍👍👍💙💙💙
Respect to all the crafts men and women who produce such a fine boot.
That’s some masterful sewing machine work. 👊
Outstanding boots and craftsmanship. I would be proud to wear them every day.
Proud to wear (whatever kind) boots? 😂
Work of Art
I really enjoy watching a craftsman (Man or Woman) plying their trade with such skill. Respect! 👍
This is *Captivating!* to say the least! 😍
D&D @0:40, Death Saves @19:50. Mad respect for the amazing craftsmanship and D&D nerdy.
Good work🌳
I see 9 or 10 different hands making these boots…awesome!!!
Beautiful boots.
Work of art..love from 🇱🇰
I wore out one pair after resoleing them 3 times. Got another. Excellent boots, and they don't leak dirt and water like White's. Best work boots out there!
How long did they last you between resoles?
Bill...
Correct spelling is "resoling". How on earth did you manage to wear out the soles 3 times; do you walk around on the surface of the Sun?
Man they work fast.
Now that's a real work boot.
Just got my RoseAnvil ND1s and they are amazing. My first pair of Nick's. Cant wait to wear them outside! A video on those being made would be awesome. With the linemans patch and waxed flesh. Thanks for the content guys.
So roseanvil is associated with Nick's how? For some reason I was thinking he worked for them but I looked on Google and it didn't really say and that was that.
Bad ass boots and surely they are built tough!!
I need a pair of these.ive been through so many work boots in three years I've lost count
Those are some badass boots.
some dam good craftsmanship
True artisans! Might have to get a pair!
Cool Beans😃 Great Workmanship
MONSTER SEWING MACHINE!!!
Love my Nick's station boots. Comfortable as bedroom slippers, but heavier a bit.
Deep philosophical discussions around 14:00
Masterpiece
With all this premium quality, why you use a foam core instead of cork? Is it better, I used to think cork was superor both for fit and duration...
Nice boots. I hate work boots with all the "comfort" fluff that go out long before the shoe and destroy your socks in the process. Use to be you could buy plain leather boots, inside and out, that would last and no hollow core soles. Now a says you're lucky if they last a year.
Things I don't have: 1. Rough Out Boots 2. LTT PNW Loggers. My Nick's ND1's got delayed in the mail. Then I will have one (or) more from each PNW heavy hitter. Decisions decisions...
How do these compare to the Builder Pro? Which are better for the woods? More durable?
Perfect job bravo👏👏👏
Thank you! 😃
Wow, i appreciate the skill and artistry. They look as good as my Carolina's
Can we get a grant voice over? Makes these so much more pleasurable!!!
wow I bet the break in is long and a bit panful well worth the pain for a great USA heavy duty boot !
I wish I could get a version of the Firefighter Boot with a moderate arch. Call it the “Boilermaker”.
I work around big boilers, most of them are 3-5 stories tall. We walk on catwalks that are VERY HOT.
You must wear heat resistant gloves to grab the hand rails on the stairs or level catwalks.
The hot steel catwalks and stairs can destroy a pair of Timberlands in less than a minute. I do not need the logger heel.
In fact, a wedge sole might almost be ideal. But, no one makes that type of sole, yet.
It would be good if you offered the Firefighter boot in a moderate arch version, one without the logger or dogger heel stack.
Probably can, but it'd be a custom order. Call 'em and ask.
Awesome
🔥Awesome 🔥
Amazing 👌👌👌👌👌
Still waiting on my nicks 16+ weeks now. Really hope they’re worth it
HI. As an old boot maker in France, I am amazed to notice the big amount of nails, and the using of hammers and hacks... May be important to analyse wich techniques worth it... Thanks
Please explain. Do you think this is a bad or good way of boot making?
Tô impressionado com a quantidade de pregos que são colocados...
Awesome new subscriber
How do you get the form out of the inside of the boot?
13:25 did he just throw all those nails in his mouth like they were a pile of nerd candies
Yes he did!
Can’t wait for mine…. March.
muchas felisidades a todos los travalladores de esta fabrica çuiteria rosa brasil
I've been thinking about getting a pair of these. I've been wearing danners forever but they have really gone downhill. I have had 2 pair back to back delaminate on me.
I need a pair of the loggers with the spikes so I can walk around on the hardwood floors of my mother in laws house, and do foot pivots in the kitchen! Just saying’!
Don't forget to moonwalk across it lol
Wow
Please include video of her subsequently smacking you with a broom up and down that same floor too lol. You wanna play stupid games you win stupid prizes lol

are you able to lace to toe with steel caps? cand select it on the page.
The speed of light conversion took me by surprise lmao
14:07 what is this layer made of, or referred to?
15:05 “I can’t believe that with all that work they just glue the outsole one”
19:24 “Oh, WTF is she doing?”
I would love to learn this craft
I'd love to see more about the machines and tools used.
Kiváló munka! 👍Jól néz ki, kár, hogy a sarka olyan, mint a tűsarkú női cipőké. 🤨😕
I wish to have this one.. I love this shoes where can I find it.. 😜 how shall I get this.
5:00 what liquid are the uppers dipped in right here?
Nice

A couple of questions:
1.) could you do these as corks?
2.) how would I ask for a true 12" shaft height?
3.) ltt looks more snag proof (I'm a faller who does horse/mule logging with the Amish) but also looks like they'd leak more. true or false?
Leather will last longer !!
People would usually get a leather sole I'f the use them for horse back. The sole is completely flat minus the heel. So if you need to get off the horse quickly it won't catch you. If you have any more questions I would call.
I wish I had a pair so badly I bought a pair of heritage redwing 877s figured there a step bellow a pair of these bad boys
Already placed my LTT ordered. 10" 1964 Brown Roughout
hope to see your review soon congrats!
@@minerforjob32 I will brother. Thank you!
Super quality shoes, it's must be expensive👍
To whoever bought a Hellcat Durango - Nick's built you some boots!
They look fantastic to me up to 17:53. From then on they are a no-buy to me because of the heel shape.
Maybe these were the female version.
@@DamnDealDone Naah. That's a logger heel. For real loggers and not insecure latte drinkers like you two.
It’s a pretty standard logger heel, also very common in wildland.
What camerea where they talking about? Something about the speed of light?
