You can only have 10 marbles per spawners at a time (at level 1 it's 5 but since you upgraded them it's 10 per) so if you have 10 it waits for one to despawn before spawning a new one so maybe due to how long they take to go through the elevators the marbles spawn less frequently so I guess that means a net loss for money-making

Yes this is what i was thinking. Increasing the track length is probably only worth it if you can flood it with marbles. So getting more spawners should be top priority.

You should remove most of the useless pieces, because they're wasting time where the marbles could've been moving through the higher rewarding parts and making more money
You have to balance it aswell so that it doesn't go too fast for the spawners and they can't spawn all 10 of their marbles before the first marbles finish
This definitely. Time is money and using excessive pieces on long tracks is wasting time and reducing gains. The funnels blew my mind when you unlocked them. So much money in no time at all.

when you mouse over the background with your right hand menu expanded, you'll see a purple option that says "record best for X jacks" (shows an image of a jack). clicking on this will "catch" the jacks, giving you a 5% bonus over the base value for each jack. you get more jacks for earning a higher money/sec (a jack for each billion, trillion, etc)
Starting your spawners at the first gold piece is smart.
Use the steep slope pieces to quickly get to the second gold piece. That will increase rate of return.
Since the elevator don’t make much money and take a lot of travel time, only use enough to get up to the top of your secondary marble run.
Build your secondary marble run starting from the bottom of the screen. Build in reverse. Use the fastest and most money generating pieces. Then use only enough elevators to reach the top of the run.
Build a short length run for faster money generation.

It is slower becouse elevators are taking some time to get up and there are momments where marbles are on elevators but not at the expensive section

You don’t actually need to use both gold pieces. You can loop marbles through the same piece once you get elevators and it counts.
