He aimed to prove the existence of God and His creation of the world scientifically and through reason and logic. Abu Ali Al-Hussein Ibn Abdullah Ibn Sina, known in the West as Avicenna, was one of the most eminent Muslim physicians and philosophers of his days whose influence on Islamic and European medicine persisted for centuries. He was named by his students and followers as “Al Shaikh Al Ra'ees” or the master wise man. You won't see Muslim's naming Shakespeare as SheikhSpeare🥴
Ibn Sina's achievements had nothing to do with Islam. He was originally a Zoroastrian. The same goes for almost all Iranian scholars and bright minds. Muslims and Arabs like to leech off of Persian culture and advancements by claiming that these bright minds became who they were because of Islam. Frankly the majority of Iranian scholars not only were atheist/agnostic, they didnt even approve of the Islamic rule.
Did he get the name Avicenna recently? Or was it in the medieval period when moving names across a dozen languages and a continent must've been like playing a game of telephone? Do you think ibn Sina succeeded in proving the existence of god with logic?

Ibn Sina (Avicenna) literally shaped how we look at medicine, philosophy and poetry today. So much so, he’s known as the father of early modern medicine (not to mention the fact he saved the life of a Persian ruler as a teenager). I urge you to read more about him. It’s not crap just because you can’t understand it. Heck, you couldn’t have typed this baseless and fact less comment without algorithms (which was founded by another great mathematician)
@@TheRepentanceProjectIf not, then who were you talking about? I’m sorry for assuming but the way you worded it without giving any other information just led me to believe you were talking about him being a “childish individual”
@jihooney-1448 I'm talking about the professors, I just think it's comical and amazing. You got two professors who studied their respective fields for probably a long time and haven't come close to what ibn sina has discovered.
People need to realize he’s saying this with begrudging appreciation and admiration. He’s not bad-mouthing Ibn Sina
It's sarcasm, cause he's the real life Sheldon and Tony Stark combined who became a professor of a subject in a short amount of time.
This is how humanity moves forward through mutual cooperation and peaceful coexistence.
Annoying how impressive he was is what he means
obivously I don't get how people don't get it
He was mainly a philosopher. The physician stuff was a side gig

Yes, that's how Islamic golden ages rules. When you can create a wonderful society, brilliant people can do their brilliant things.
