I served with the Afghan Army commandos when I was in Afghanistan in 2011 with the US Army. I am STILL trying to get several Afghans, whom I worked with, out of Afghanistan via the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program set up for Afghan Nationals who worked with the US government/US government. Many have been waiting for YEARS for their visas. In the meantime, ANYONE who wants to can just walk across the border and immediately receive benefits from the US government. This is simply NOT right, and it is a national disgrace.

There was a guy I believe his name is Trevor. He was on the ground that day where the bombs went off and he has a ton of permanent, life-changing injuries.
