I guess gauges can go out of whack a little bit after using them and of course they don't come with instructions so I kept looking at that screw and wondering what it did thanks very helpful
I borrowed a set from AutoZone and finally figured out that they weren't calibrated after only seeing -20PSI after vacuuming my POS Aveo's HVAC system. They were around 10PSI off, high, so now I see -30PSI under vacuum... Perfect. Now, to see if the vacuum holds.
I noticed that my gauges were way off. Tried to figure out why and then duh!! I had moved from 1200' above sea level to 5000'. Used your video to confirm how to adjust. Thanks.
thank you for this information! my gauge wouldnt move past 25m when trying to vacuum my ac system. noticed it wasnt on 0 when first connecting it up. this was the solution!

I like to bring them up to 40psi so i spend less money on refrigerant
