Wicked vid bro. Just curious do you fish without a sounder and if so any tips on how to find the fish? Didn't look like you had any problems finding them!!
Thanks bro. In a place like Kawakawa bay the seafloor is very flat. There's the signs of structure here and there, which I mark on my GPS. I will then cast a softbait or lure over or near any structure I see on my FF. I typically fish where I find structure. I hope this helps.
Cheers bro. I wanted to catch up with you and the lads over xmas but the weather wasn't coming right. Hope to catch up soon, especially at the EBOP comp.
Thanks mate. No way! The wind was too strong the past week. I stayed home and made this video instead. I have a Garmin Striker 4CV. I didn't bring my fish finder with me on this trip.
@@SchecterNZKayakFishing yeah was wondering if you just had a lo profile one, nice one bro, my marae is in kaiaua, so i might hit two birds with one stone and head out for a fish to the mussel farms while visiting the whanau
@@poozandweeez Awesome bro. It's a beautiful part of the country. It always blows me away. Let me know how the fishing is going. Good luck out there 🤙.
Thanks CCM. No problems yet. I think most of the passing boaties around here are well versed with the maritime rules. Just keep visible, (light, flag, fluoro gear etc..) and it should be all good. Good luck out there.
@@SchecterNZKayakFishing awesome, stay safe, keep the content coming, would like to see a co-lab with other you tubers out there, Kerry Flowers springs to mind. Cheers for sharing.

What a change in the weather, I would not have gone out in the bad weather, but it cleared up nicely. Enjoy the fish. John

Nice one, good to see more of your stuff on the tube. Have you had any close calls with passing boats that motor past and who don't give a fark?
