Love the palm muting, sounds like a woman's dancing shoes, hitting the the stage floor. This CD is absolutely one of kind. Uli is the single best electrified classical performer today.
This is a very tasteful interpretation, and what a great guitartone that blends extremely well with the orchestra, while still having the characteristics of a solo-instrument. It is the most violin-like guitar-tone I've ever heard, yet it retains some of that guitarness-articulation - to the point that it still makes very much sense to implement the guitar to bring something new to the music. And yeah, of course Roth's handling of the instrument is integral to that sound. I have to get this album, though it seems a little hard to find. Thanks a lot for the upload!
ive seen the dave mustaine version, and imho I think its laughable its soo bad, i live in SD, my friends attended that concert and quite a few got out mid concert because it was soo bad. Uli & Yngwie to me are untouchable

Just checked out Dave Mustain, doing this piece as well, very good, but nowhere near the magic of Uli's, version. Still worth checking out though.
