I've loved this song since the first time I heard it in the game, and I've watched a lot of videos of bands covering it. I can say yours is the best cover version I've found so far. I really love that you were able to faithfully replicate the part which I can only describe (due to my lack of music vocabulary) as the "synthy arpeggiated climb" at the part where the verse transitions into the chorus. That part moves so fast I would be hard-pressed to even isolate what notes are being played. You also did a great job constructing the drum patterns without a live drummer. I'd love to peek in on your process somehow. I'm an old-school, intermediate-level musician who is dying to update my digital production knowledge.
Oh wow, I just love the energy that is pouring out of this video. The female vocal (and expression) is so powerfull! The male vocal is so smooth and a perfect change of pace. I love it.
