Thank you for this review. I'm thinking about purchasing one of these paint booths and I found your video extremely helpful and informative. Your two cats added entertainment value as well👍
Thank you for the review. What is the full depth required for this unit? The manual suggest 20 inches but after installing the exhaust unit it appears to be a few inches more. Your reply is welcomed.
if you include the flex of a vent hose i feel you need almost 27 inches of full depth. the 20 quoted in the manual is just the depth of the both itself. the fan extends more past that and when you add a vent hose you bet even more. 27 inches is safe offset from a wall.
After more then a year are you still happy with the product? Looking to by the same 1 just sure if I like it venting from the rear instead from the top .
Have you sprayed in this booth with lacquer paints? Been researching some for my own future purchase and cannot find anyone that can verify if theirs can evacuate those fumes
i have been using AK real colors, Mr Color and Alcald metalics. I have mine able to vent to an open window. As long as I stay in the booth it does great. the only smell is from throwing cotton swabs or paper towel with cleaning element on them in an open trash can in the room.
now after 6 months of usage i am still happy with it's venting performance. i did notice a degradation when one of the filters looked very covered/dirty. but they are easy to change and restored performance to an appropriate level.
@@rowdstar i was under the impression that using solvent paint on fan's that are not spark resistant can be dangerous? I know they have other more expensive versions of these booths that are wired to protect flamable paints. Do you know if the fan here is also a spark resistant fan?
The fan in this unit looks to have the motor in the center, is it ? I ask because I have been looking for a metal booth but I want one with a shaded or motor separate from the fan because lacquers can cause fire with a fan that has a motor in the center of the fan or is unshaded.

@@DeLuca_L Hi Larry, I did not end up purchasing the product. I settled on the cheaper amazon/eBay plastic spray booth.
