Hi Honeylith! Just a clarification. The cost of travel insurance premium (yung babayaran mo) depends on the destination (if its near or far), traveler's age, length of stay, type of coverage that you want (basic, medium, full). So kung mas malayo (e.g. Dubai) mas mahal yun kesa pag malapit (e.g. HK).
Pag mas matanda yung traveler or mas mahaba yung length of stay sa ibang bansa, mas mahal din. Pag mas marami type of coverage (kunyari "premium" which includes for example repatriation, accidents, lost luggage, etc), mas mahal. So depende yun sa needs/ wants & budget ng traveler.
Pag nilagay mo dun sa site yung age, length of stay, destination country, etc makakakuha ka ng quote for the diff types of coverage. Kung walang credit card si traveler at walang kilalang friend/ family na willing magpagamit ng cc, pwede lumapit sa mga insurance agent (example Sunlife, Manulife, Prulife, etc). Usually yung mga big companies nag offer din ng travel insurance. Kung hindi yung company nila mismo, kukuha sila sa sister company.
Mas kampante talaga yung loob mo pag may insurance. I have traveled as a tourist in both cases (with and without travel insurance). Nung wala ako insurance, ingat na ingat ako sa activities ko - hindi yung mga risky like cliff jumping, etc kc takot aq ma-aksidente kc wla aq insurance non. Pag may insurance ka, mas kampante ka.
Pero cyempre ingat pa rin kc mahal magkasakit or ma-aksidente sa ibang bansa, lalo na pag solo traveler or pair/ grp kayo pero pure tourist at walang sponsor. Ingat po sa lahat & sana matuloy ang mga travel plans nyo.

Kumuha po sana ako nang travel insurance maam pero hindi daw sila pwede makapag process kc 1 year ako at single entry lang.Pwede daw pag multiple entry ako at today ang flight ko at sa june pa return ticket ko kc 12 mos.ang length of stay ko at anak ko po ang sponsor.

Pede naman po siguro kayo kumuha ng for example 6mos tas bago matapos yung 6 mos na insurance kuha ulit kayo ng another 6mos. Baka kasi hanapin sa immigration doon sa bansang ppuntahan nyo po. Though not sure lang din po ako if hahanapin.

@@GirlieMongaya.13-88 hindi po. Dapat yung insurance policy nasa name nyo. Travel insurance is one of the requirements for a Schengen visa (your visa to Germany). Pwede bumili ng insurance yung BF mo for you, gamit yung credit card nya tas i-send sa iyo yung PDF file ng insurance via email or messenger.
