- After a long long wait due to the Covid 19 pandemic and no touring done last year. We embark on the Wales tour planned two years ago. In this first short episode we travel from home to Borth on the west coast, just 6 miles north of Aberystwyth.
This tour will see us ride to the Elan Valley, St David's, Tenby and do the Snowdonia Discovery route. We also pay a visit to the Red Kite Cafe a renowned biker cafe and have a good look round Aberystwyth.

Hi Steve, great to see you back and enjoying it! like herding cats when you arrived at the caravan !!!We used to live near Devils Bridge in Wales and go back on the bike as often as we can. I see the wind noise through the Sena is still there!!! Ive just changed and bought a Cardo because it was so annoying !!
Cheers fella lucky you living at some point in such a beautiful place. The wind noise is because I always ride with the chin guard out the way, doesn't bother me to be truthful and just love the wind on my face.

Awesome video as always 👌
Cheers fella pleased you enjoyed it.
Nah then Steve. Just stumbled on your channel, and thought “now there’s some dulcet tones”, and twigged when you showed your route. Scunnylad born and bred, but moved out of the area 26 years ago. I believe it’s been called “Shorpe” since I left 😉. My bikes allus came from Rusty’s back in the day - long gone now. I’d have a nose on a Saturday parked outside, and also have a mooch up to Brian Lee’s. Been bikeless for 40 years until 2019, and now got a few. Not ridden back yet, but will do. I’ll look you up mate. Subscribed, so I’m off for a nose round your channel.
Cheers Paul wow those shops you mention bring back loads of memories, love the Shorpe pun LOL. Thanks for the sub and enjoy looking back on some of the tours/days out we've done. Ride Safe my friend.
@@Steve-Clark You too mate. Born in Digby Street, lived in Roxby, Winteringham and Crowle. That’s my pedigree Steve. Take it easy mate. Speak again no doubt 👍

Ha ha pleased you enjoyed the bap my friend. LOL
We were in Wales the same time as you. We had a mixed bag with the weather, but it was great to be back touring again. 👍👍
To be fair we were very very lucky with the weather as the only day we had rain was the day we rode home.

Thanks Paul been a struggle for us all but hope these video's give everyone a little of the feel good factor again. Now that we can all get out again my friend.
I stayed on the same site 3 years ago!
I had a caravan at the top of the hill. Great views of the coast, but it was a killer walking back up that hill after a meal and a couple of pints.
I always book using The Sun holidays. Think it cost me £70 for 4 nights in October.
Good to see you back on tour😊
We were about half way up the hill Graham and yeah its steep mate ha ha
It’s been a long time coming but worth the wait. Great to have you and the guys back on the road again. Enjoy.

Welcome back lads, great to see you again. I hope you had a good time in Wales. The countryside around Aberystwyth blew my mind first time I saw it, and I have never seen as many birds of prey as I did around there. Wonderful area !
Same same Tony scenery is easily as good as Scotland and your right about the birds, saw loads of red kites plus many others. Thanks for watching my friend.
Enjoyed this lads. I remember Borth from my youth, brought up in Talybont, riding around on my RD250, GS750 in the late 70s with my mates. Went to school in Aber etc - looking forward to the rest of the tour 😁.

Nice to see you and the lads back on the road. We stayed up the road just a few weeks ago at Devils Bridge but I'm ashamed to say we took the car as the weather was awful.
You can actually drive / ride on Ynyslas beach just up the road from where you are staying and the area was the base for a TV series Hinterland which we enjoyed.
Looking forward to seeing if they get that sofa turned into a bed. Cheers and take care
Hi Richard and Carol did not know about that beach so thanks for that gives us a reason to return ha ha. What was you thinking CAR !!!
