The biggest problem with the likes of Ospreay and Okada joining AEW is that you know theyre going to ruin their status like they did Danielson and Jay White. If a guy is rare and special you have to treat them like they are rare and special. They cant be fighting the bums in the mid card. They should be wrestling MAYBE, once a month. Particularly when even the bums in AEW (and 95% of that roster are bums) think they deserve to have 15 minute 5 star flaming barbed wire death matches every time out. We're already seeing it with Okada, if you felt the need to put that hokey Rice Crispies belt on him, you should have done it by having him wipe out Kingston in seconds.

The problem with AEW's triple crown is that it took two irrelevant titles, granted one had a great history, and then linked it to a new title that only existed to create a triple crown champion. It would've behooved all parties involved if the Continental Crown stayed with the other two titles because it was the only thing that made any of the titles seem interesting. What would have made it interesting is if they had taken the International title, combined it with the Strong and ROH belt, and that became a tri-promotional title that they called the Continental Crown that carried all three companies legacy and was defended in NJPW US shows, ROH, and AEW.
To me, the Continental Crown felt like it was to serve Eddie’s story more than anything with so much of his style paying homage to The King’s Road and many of his heroes held the Japanese triple crown during their time. I don’t believe there were ever long term plans to keep the Continental Crown a thing. Now the Continental Championship will just become another mid card title for AEW

#QUESTIONS The whole Mercedes/Willow situation feels like it could be a swerve, and it’s actually leading to a Kris Statlander heel turn. She lost to Riho while Willow won, she took the pin tonight in the tag team match, and could possibly even cost Willow her title match and turn on her and even get physical with Mercedes as well. Would be good to have a dominant/monster heel in the Women’s Division, and possibly even lead to not only feuds with Mercedes and Willow, but even try to elevate the TBS Championship, maybe a multi person ladder match. What are your thoughts, and possible suggestions for their women’s division as a whole?
Yeah i agree with you. I think any company that's not WWE will always get heat for signing big names just because a certain crowd will always see it as a "downgrade" for that star. Heck i remember when CM Punk got heat for returning to AEW but all the same people were happy with him going back ti WWE.
I think part of the problem is that WWE have been able to rewrite history and control the narrative of wrestling for so long. If you watch a WWE documentary, Vince buying out the territories is put forward as a positive thing, fuck so is the death of WCW. In short, people need to learn wrestling history from non-biased sources tbh
Instead of having two teams pulled down two sets of titles in the ladder match. They should just have R Truth winning the whole thing The next week he turns up on SmackDown and hands the blue belts to Nick Aldus. Saying "hey my dog, these are SmackDown titles, I'm a raw star" Boom, the titles are split.
I feel like Roman gets way to much credit for his story tbh. I think Paul Heyman does a great job and the Usos and Solo has also carried a huge part of the load to carry this story. It is disrespectful to act like Roman is the best part of the bloodline without them it would be nothing
Imo the only good part of the Bloodline storyline was Sami Zayn for about 6 months out of, what 4 years now? And the Usos have definitively been better than Roman.
I’ve been saying all along. Rock will take over the whole thing. Roman will attack rock at mania yelling “you aren’t the final boss. IM THE TRIBAL CHIEF” causing the distraction long enough for Cody to hit multiple cross roads and get the win . Setting up rock v Roman
Tag title have to remain unified, better one title that means something (and even now sometimes it struggles for focus) than 2 to be forgotten about for months on end.
I said this when The Rock first came out and hugged Cody. This Wrestlemania is going to Empire Strikes Back. Cody will lose, most likely via a Dusty finish where he wins and Rock overturns it. We will spend the next year with Rock being the Emperor of WWE and slowly making Roman the face.

I think if you leave a WWE for example and go to a smaller promotion it would be more beneficial if you gimmick is not exactly the same as was in WWE, especially if you plan on coming back. What are you guys thoughts?
I think it's odd that you would say Mercedes is going to have better matches in AEW than she would in WWE when women's wrestling in WWE is so much better. You guys routinely pick the women's match as the match of the night in WWE but rarely, if ever, do the same for an AEW women's match.
As much as i like Roman how can you not take a back seat to The Rock the guy is too entertaining plus it plays more into The Rock having an ego 2 big egos going at it thats the real money not Corny Rhodes

They’re giving Rock way too much TV and promo time. Hes not in the main event but he’s on TV as if he’s the universal champion defending his belt against Cody. “Part of the bigger story” is fine-Rock should be the one getting less right now though, not Roman. Plus even Herman is calling somebody else the Final Boss-which is what we’ve called Roman organically for the last 3 years. I like the Rock. Rock vs Roman was 1000% the plan, because Rock is on TV more than anybody that isn’t Cody Rhodes. Hell, we got a Rock solo segment before a Roman solo segment or even Roman/Cody segment. I don’t wanna see the Rock on TV at all until Mania really.
in my opinion, if the bad guy isn't getting boo'edand being hated by the fans, then they aren't doing a good job at being a bad guy, and are closer to being a good guy
Maybe Roman has taken the backseat because he wasn't supposed to be TEAMING with the Rock but FACING him. Piss poor creative due to Cucky Blows and his crybabies.
Rock-Roman was a last second decision that led to a quick pivot because people weren’t invested in seeing that story play out before Cody finishes his.
Isnt this what all you cody crybabies wanted? We couldve had some of the best promos ever with the Rock vs Roman but instead we got a crappy tagteam nobody cares about
The Rock and his ego are ruining Wrestlemania. His involvement in the story makes no sense when he had absolutely nothing to do with either Roman or Cody until recently. The bloodline should have been disbanded a year ago after it had reached its peak and Roman damn sure should have lost the title by now. He should have never won it in the first place because he is one of the most overrated and boring wrestlers of all time.

I got a theory that the rock wants to perform face off with tech n9ne at WrestleMania. that's it. that's the theory. lol
Thumbs down for you wanting Bayley to Loose at Wrestlemania... IF ANYONE DESERVES A WIN AT WRESTLEMANIA IT IS BAYLEY!!!!!!
in my opinion, if the bad guy isn't getting boo'edand being hated by the fans, then they aren't doing a good job at being a bad guy, and are closer to being a good guy
13:00 Triple Crown?
The reason why I can't enjoy AEW seriously.
AEW has so many good workers, it's just hard to boo them. Hangman, Okada, Mox, Toni, all baddies that the crowd still loves to cheer
Swerve is not CLEARLY a good guy, sorry man but he isnt, and people are mad for treating him like a face.
But bad guys are more interesting to alot of people it's just cool the cheer the bad guy
100%. reigns will be gone for quit some time after wrestlemania after rock and the bloodline turn on him
The old bucks need to lose.
@@khesipresents1885 one is 39 the other is 34 they arent young anymore
Nxt nxt nxt!
Maybe Roman has taken the backseat because he wasn't supposed to be TEAMING with the Rock but FACING him. Piss poor creative due to Cucky Blows and his crybabies.
At least come up with a better Cody nickname man 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣
@@WrestleJuice Shill
Rock-Roman was a last second decision that led to a quick pivot because people weren’t invested in seeing that story play out before Cody finishes his.
@@WrestleJuiceHow about Corny Rhodes
Isnt this what all you cody crybabies wanted? We couldve had some of the best promos ever with the Rock vs Roman but instead we got a crappy tagteam nobody cares about
Roman is not a main character in his own story.
Time to put belt on Gunther… reigns has grown stale and either never wrestles or Solo wins all his matches for him
Drew should lose and stop crying drew deserves nothing right now maybe a intercontinental championship
