Oh good. Did you like it? I love making that stew. Thanks for watching. Hopefully you'll check out all my other videos. Lots of instant pot ones as well.
@@WhatsUpwithDJNow had to show my mom how to pull up RUclips and how she can watch a video on whatever she has a question about. But yes I will have my mom put your channel on her phone so she can check out some of your cooker recipes cooks
Thank you, you know it's one of my favorite things to make and tastes so good. I don't even wait till Fall and Winter to make. I do hear around. Yes my Sammy is always near by waiting for his little sample. Love that boy. Thanks for watching and commenting

That looks like one of the best beef stews I've seen yet. Can I ask what type of potato did you use? Was it russet or can you use baby reds? I always heard the russet potatoes disintegrate in the Instant Pot.
Thank you very much for the compliment. It is very very good stew. I used russet potatoes. You can try baby reds if you want. I never buy or use anything except russets. Except in my pot roast video I tried some called baby dutch yellows. They were ok but I think I prefer russets, grew up on them. Thanks for watching. Hope you will subscribe
@@WhatsUpwithDJNow I have to tell you I just made this beef stew and it is absolutely delicious. I did use russet potatoes and they came out perfect, and the broth was really good. What a great idea using V8. I used everything in your recipe, except I had to back off on the V8 for my 6 quart, but I was still able to use about 6 cups to the max line. It even pleased my very picky 88 year old mother! We have enough left over to warm up all week long. Thank you for sharing.
I'm confused so you did use the V8 or did not? Or are you saying you didn't use the whole thing? Mine is a 6 quart too. It did go above the max line but I mentioned that in the video. It was ok, you just need it to do a natural release so it doesn't spurt out. Did you use 1 pound of meat or 2?

So it's in your oven or your doing in Instant Pot?
I brown the meat in batches. It’s actually faster

@@WhatsUpwithDJNow Thank you for responding. Will definitely try this recipe and will use russets.
Yeah they were the perfect softness. Don't go past 20-21 min. Meat super tender.

If don't have V8 can you use tomato sauce
Tomato juice, not sauce
Big giant tall can
Ok tomato juice great, thank you so much 👍
Use the same amount of ounces and you're welcome
have to watch my salt intake. but very nice.
This was not an overly salted dish. Or do you mean cause of the tomato juice? You can get the more sodium version. Thanks for watching
