I just hope the agent is fun to play. Deadlock felt underwhelming when she first released, I hope this agent will be good out of the gate, like Clove. I'm getting tired of just seeing Cypher almost every match, so I hope Vyse shakes things up.

i mean i think is gonna be very versatile bcs his ult can disarm the primary weapons in an area wich i think against op and annoying odins is gonna be super op at leats in paper we would see in gameplay.

The hourglass like a lore thing because she was locked away in a hourglass facility (abyss)
that actually makes sense. Her vines are breaking the hourglass in the visuals
her signature ability might work something like kirby in ssbu.
what i mean by this is that she could catch/trap one of the enemies and be able to use their signature ability

The hour glass is most likely more to do with the lore happening in game where she was trapped in an hourglass base
I genuinely don't see how she would have ANYTHING time related. It's been made pretty clear her whole thing is metal plants, metal plants and time aren't exactly related.
plants take time to grow, maybe thats how it ties in? or the fact she was cryo-sleeping, which from her perspective is like pausing time idk
@AliceKit24 A. poison ivy. You just accelerate growth, not manipulate time... which doesn't matter anyways since it's metal, not actual plants.
B. Cryo sleep? Really? I don't buy it.
C. The real reason for the call is the hourglass imagery. Which doesn't make any sense at all because as far as we know right now that's just lore.
@@Eshtian poison ivy is an interesting idea, but I think it would just be thorny bramble-style things bc of the rose imagery no? Also, what do you think was happening if it wasn’t a cryo-sleep chamber? (That might come across as rude but I’m genuinely curious on your thoughts) also do we think she might have a wall similar to sages?
@AliceKit24 A. Yes, I do agree with your first point. The issue is that my poison ivy example was to point out how time manipulation was far less likely than accelerated growth.
Of course, even that doesn't work since really the new agent is more of a Magneto with a rose motif.
B. I wasn't denying that she was in cryo sleep. I was denying cyro sleep as a sort of foreshadow of time abilities. Cyro sleep isn't even time manipulation. It's ice.
@@Eshtian ohh I understand your accelerated growth idea more now, that would be super fun.. the idea that she sets up slow-growing traps but can make them move faster at will.. interesting. I feel that would be a bit underpowered as an ult, but maybe util or some sort of energy bar like Viper.
I still feel like she has to have some sort of strong time ability due to the hourglass being a bit too prominent to just be lore related.. perhaps she can do some sort of pause, or make the spike tick slower / faster post-plant as an ult. perhaps grow thorns around the spike to protect it, which buys time bc the enemy has to break it? this is all super exciting to speculate about, I can’t wait until it’s all revealed lol

No that would be busted if she rewinds the whole map. If it’s her ult she should rewind herself maybe 2 seconds but it needs to cost at least 8 then
I hope they stop adding revive mechanics though and I don’t want to see abilities after death anymore either

abilities already got leaked:
Q Ability: Seed Trap (Charge up to 2 per turn)
Deploy a Thorn Seed Trap, after deploying the seed it will become invisible and when triggered by the enemy it will cause a slowing effect and damage to the target.
Skill C: "Wall of Fog" (Charge up to one per turn)
Deploy an area wall, which will automatically raise a wall of fog when triggered by the enemy, isolating the terrain and hindering the advance speed of hostile targets behind it.
Skill do E: Rose Trap (Companion Skill, up to one turn)
There are two ways to deploy it, one is to place it directly on the wall, and the other is similar to the ZERO wall shot in Rainbow Six, which can come out on the other side of the wall. The Rose Trap is invisible, and pressing release again will blind the target, then enter a 20 second cooldown and use it again to blind again. It is equivalent to a remote-controlled flash, which is deployed at the packing point and can be upgraded remotely. At most one can be deployed in this skill section, which can be removed and redeployed.
Skill X: "Disarm" (8 skill points)
After releasing the ultimate, the area can allow spikes to parasitize the opponent's weapon, achieving a disarming effect. Making it completely unusable, Making it impossible to use the main weapon
her ult is op but she kinda sucks

I hope they release more unique abilities because clove’s abilities weren’t really. Sage ult, brim smokes, fade decay, reyna overheal
I would agree, but if you look at games like rainbow 6… completely new abilities with new agents can become to much in the future

I agree. I feel like they focused too much on just the smoke after death and resurrection parts of her kit. The rest feels pretty shallow and boring.
@@edwardalbrecht7246 u could be right but idk if it would matter too much, u can only have 5 agents on a team so an agent pool of 50 wouldnt really matter if there are 10 clear best ones. also gives more variety in team comps making the game more fun

When it comes to a time ability, maybe she stops the spike timer temporarily? On offense maybe she holds it down so that it can’t be diffused until something is destroyed?
My theory is that the rose will be a part of her kit like a trap and if it detects enemies it will detain them for some time (because of the phantom and hourglass hints).
Ngl if this is modified a bit, it could even be her ult (like kj's lockdown).
I think her 1 ability might be holding enemy in one place for certain time that's why it's showing wines holding hourglass
1) trap that keeps u in place but your team can shoot the vines to get you out
2) throwable that can take your gun away and hold it in place
3) vine wall that if you come in contact it can cut you with is thorns
4) ult rewinds all actions except abilities used by 5 seconds
I'd be curious to know if previous agents' trailers indeed gave hints about new agents' abilities or not... Just so we can know if these speculations have any basis. Great content anyway though, keep up the great work 👌
the vandal could mean that she summons her own weapon made from metal, similar to chamber with his ult, but i feel like it'll have limited time instead of limited bullets
I think the ult will be something like Harbor's, but if they're caught their gun gets taken away. Or just casts over an area and takes away the guns of the players for a specific amount of time that are in that area
Another sage wall would be interesting, I wonder if it would like stun them if they like try to break it or something

maybe a spikey wall that damages enemies when they get too close or try to break it with there knife, so they need to break it with there guns? or they get stuck for 2 secs or smth if they break it

hear me out since she is sentinel i thuink one of her abilities will be to have a vine on the ground kinda like a trip then once someone steps in it they get strangled and can't move.

Yeah! I was right! I really expected the new agent to be sentinal despite being speculated by some people her being a new probable Initiator. It made more sense to me that her ability being related to metallic flora be more suited for stalling enemies, thus being a sentinal😅.
my guess is, that her abilities have a trip to stall the "wandering bird" aka jett (duelist pushes)
then there will be some kind of wall ability to gain some control/isolate an area
her ult could be some kind of ability that stops time. just 10-15 seconds of round extension could alter a retake or push.
and i could actually think with all the metaltheme, that there is some kind of invulnerability in her kit.
i am so happy to see another sentinel, hopefully it has some strong trips. We definetly need more variation in the sentinel pool. Hopefully they buff/rework deadlock soon (just strengthen her trips. The whole sonic thing doesnt work. She gives me so many Yoru vibes before he got his rework (better ult, a little less shenagigan style with one less clone and more focus on flash/tp plays etc).

One of the abilities might be useable on the spike (like wingman) and stop it from ticking for an amount of time
As i saw the metal hand i imidiatly thought about a ultimate which coats you in metal so you have more life or you reflect bullets. I think this would be really dope
By turning back time maybe this new character could bring back the utilities of your teammates so the sage wall could have that metallic effect because it’s being effected by the new characters ult and so on for all abilities that were given back to your teammates. Or maybe this character reinforces everyone on the team with steel so they have boosted shields for a certain number of time.
I would love to see something like this for her abilities
Passive Ability:(Steel Touch): you are able to see player outlines when they are being hit by one of your abilities.
C:(Latch, 1 charge): A tentacle-like ability where you can charge it up and grab something or another opponent and drag it/them towards you. You can grab guns that are too far away for yourself or a team member and even grab an enemy player and drag them half the distance towards you. For example a max charge is lets say 30m and if you grab an enemy player they will be dragged 15m. Guns and stuff will be dragged all the way
Q: (Isolation, 1 charge)A wall that is deployable at anytime which is made up of metal thorns that will sprout out and players within a certain radius of it will be slowed and damaged. Meaning that they could not knife the wall and will have to shoot it. The wall will last x amount of seconds before decaying.
E:(Bloom, 2 charge) it will be a bulb initially and as players get close it will begin to sprout, players cannot see the bulb until really close. After being within certain distance from the bulb, it will fully sprout within 0.3 amount of time and latch onto players within the seeable radius. Any players entering will also get hit. They will be stuck unable to move and will take damage every x seconds (represented through a beat/pulse), they will have to shoot the flower to get out.
X:(Thorns of vengeance, 8 ult orbs), within a radius of effect enemy players will be given a new effect which will last x amount of seconds and when they shoot a bullet they will begin taking damage and after taking a certain amount of damage from this effect it will evolve and will half the remaining time the effect has left and enemies will begin taking damage when holding a weapon. The damage when holding the weapon will scale between primary, secondary and knife. Primary being the most damage per second, secondary being less and knife not having any damage.
I think the time base ability could be an ability that gives a longer time for abilities of other agent to last. So Sage wall could be frozen in Time to prevent her wall to go down earlier.
What if instead of copying EVERY move you can copy only sentinel moves, or weapons held by a sentinel, that would be a unique ultimate, the time stop/reversal would be something crazy for the game, maybe with the ability to revive dead teammates in a specific time frame, but yeah, it looks like a nice agent.
I feel like she is a deadlock rework this can mean she can either make or break the competitive
i like the idea of her being able to grab a gun anywhere on the map
Hourglass, its the cult thing that omen fought against in abyss not a time control. But the wall is def an ability, i think its like a combo of a sage and harbor wall in sense of solid but will move like a wave till stopped, and when broken the whole wall breaks. I also see the gun and i think 2 things, a ability or ult to steal or an ability or ult to disable opponent guns.
Anyone else notice that Vyse's wall has the same colours as Clove's legs? Are they related? Is there some history between them?
Maybe the time bending refers to the amount of time to spike blast. This would definitely change the gameplay and it fits the character tooo
the trip disarms you and youre stuck requires someone else to break it thats why little birdie strayed too far noone there to help so free kill time i think since she is metal she might just be ancient

I feel like the time thing may have to do with spike, maybe extending plant time or shortening it
I wonder if she will have a system like astra stars for her resources shared by her base abilities. So like she has, for example, 4 balls of metal and can cast her ability, then a metal ball is used up

they are the ones who were using abyss, and they were the ones who trapped her in her cage on abyss
her crushing the hourglass in the teaser and the player card is to represent her getting revenge on the scions of hourglass, not to indicate the manipulation of time
In my opinion vyse at the start of the match will get bad abilities but idk if she gets 5 kills for example her abilities will get better. Honestly my idea come from voice mail that jett send to brimstone saing "mastering her powers as she goes"

Its a cool concept but i dont think its going to be in the game ever because it would be a nightmare to balance
i think it could be that vyse would be able to make like guns unable to be picked up or something like that, with her vines clutching the vandal yk.
itd be cool if she had an ability or ult where shed put that rose she has down and it would make a slow field like sage but only enemies are affected and the field keeps growing until the rosebud is shot
hope she can make something like a wall to stand on like sages but ofc a lil different
nah. ekko abilities is a lot of not so sentinel type.
I think its about having a shield some sort, a skill that delays enemys to enter sight and a skill that cripples enemy guns or stuns enemies. and lastly maybe like zyras ult.
I think maybe it's not a time rewind, but a time stop? Perhaps new agent will prevent enemies from recharging their abilieties or stop the spike ticking for some time? Tho it does sound kind of underpowered

What if she sets a rose down and like a cypher cage, she releases it and it grows a bunch of thorns like a thicket, walling off an area more as a time-based thing so when the player decides to activate it?
I think she has ties to Jett, as an enemy. Jett is the little bird. And their gloves look similar. My bro guessed that it would be a girl, and she will use thorns, a while ago. Idk how he knew.

Ult: garden of vines and roses in specific area for a limited time (sort of harbor ult but less crappy)

There is no mid round impact, no counterplay, and no actual play with it in the first place.

what if the hourglass is an ability to add some time back to the clock? for example if there is 7 seconds left she can add 30 seconds back making it 37 seconds left
Should make an ability wjere it's like a path of vines that speeds up all teamates who wal on it and you can set it up like a Viper/Neon
She will have a wall, 2 trips, a remote flash and ult that disables primary weapons
Her wall will detect enemies automatically and set up on its own, her trips stun and damage (like chamber but stronger) and her flash can be reused every 20seconds
i think k that she might be able to reinforce penetrable walls or something. be cool to alter angles you can hold by making the environment safer

a flower u place on the floor that actsl ike a kj alarmbot. tells u when a player is there. deals damage to the player and slows them down.
a wall you place that only comes up once when a player triggers it
E(renews every 20 seconds) a flash... (idk why a sentinel has a flash) you place it in a wall and if a player goes near it itll flash. and something about being able to use it through walls?

Duelists have flashes. Initiators have flashes. Controller even (even though it's just Omen). So... I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Duelists dont need explanation. initiators are supposed to get info and help protect the gathered space. which skyes blinds do perfectly. for omen its not even really a flash. its a blind. the difference is that flash is 2d covering your pic while blind is like reyna and omen getting fog. however. a sentinel who's only purpose is to PROTECT enemies from getting in site/preventing defenders from defusing the spike. theyre not meant to be agressive. i mean the most agressive sentinel is chamber
@@Draklinkdestroys I disagree. Especially since a sentinel is most of the times alone on a site, anchoring it. Any utility that can be used to stall/delay and potentially make attackers reconsider, including a variation of a flash/blind (poteto potato tbh, has the same function), is highly justifiable in the role.
