I love the pearlized polishes. I’ve been waiting since the 1970s for them to be widely available again. So pretty. Update: I watched this 6 months ago and just rewatched it again. I decided I need all of these, at least what I can afford. It’s so retro seventies.
So many 80’s vibes with the Infinite Shine collection ! I will definitely be getting Ray-dience ! So cool over the black. It is making me want to try it over navy or dark purple. I love doing dishes too ! Mostly because I also don’t trust how others are cleaning the dishes 🤓
i always think i'll like the pearl finish when i'm looking at it in the bottle but them i'm always a bit unimpressed when i actually put it on my nails... also, another youtuber i watch mentioned a little while ago about how youtube got rid of the polls and i immediately thought of you! lol

First of all, I'm so happy you always swatch OPI because it's the only brand I can buy in my country and it's really helpful! Second, the thought of someone licking the dishes to was them is HORRIFYING 😭
Quite opposite here; I watch RUclips WHILE I do the dishes 😊 I throw my earbuds in, prop my phone up on my coffee maker, and distract myself with beautiful swatches while being a total domestic goddess! 🥰😆🤣

I am the same with dishes! Currently doing them as I watch this video, and most of your other videos I have watched while doing dishes. I find it to be relaxing because I’m accomplishing something and my mom taught me to make sure I go to bed with a clean sink so I don’t have a huge mess to deal with in the morning. It’s really helped me to sleep easier knowing I won’t have a ton of dishes to do in the morning. Plus I don’t trust how some of my roommates wash them... I’ve found food and grease still on dishes before...
I like sheer polish because it's less noticeable and I can sometimes get away with it in school (you know, we're not allowed to wear nail polish) but I also feel like they are more elegant.
The black takes out the pigment of the polish and highlights the color of whatever shimmers or flakies are in the polish. So doing it over the black really proved that the infinite shines had very similar shimmers in their formulas, mostly differing in color.
Most of the polishes look amazing on black but I suggest putting them on nude/pastel or even white nailpolish - I do that sometimes with this kind of polishes and totaly love it, it gives a mermaid vibe to it :)
I'm late to this video but I have Magic Hour and Pigment of my Imagination. They both take 4 coats to get the level coverage you got in just 2 coats. I went ahead and bought a similar cream color for each to use as a base coat. It never occurred to me paint them over black. It looks great!
Got half the infinite shine polishes when they were first launched on QVC in the UK. Since then I've been playing with the idea of getting some of the other colours in this collection, my only problem is they're always better value in a "set" and this Video hasn't helped convince myself that I do or don't need them all but I now have to go and buy a black and white polishs 🙈🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thanks Kelli
I haven't bought an OPI polish in a while, but these are really pretty, especially the regular collection. I feel like OPI slacked off a bit but now they are trying different things again. My favorite is Rainbows A Go Go. Rainbows in Your Fuchsia is a gorgeous color, too.
I prefer the iridescent flakies, but I actually really like a few with the pearlized finish! It's the streaks I can't stand, but the self-leveling polishes are stunning! And some of those flakies over black? Gorgeous! 😍 I've recently started religiously using gloves while doing dishes and it's totally a game changer! Thanks for the tip!
You should try pop polish! She’s an indie brand on Etsy. Really interesting colors and amazing formula! 100% my fave indie brand. Watermelon Bubble Slick is gorgeous.
pigment of my imagination is sooooooo pretty wow...also the only one Ioved over black I feel like every other polish of the collection looks like a polish over black which I don‘t like but they are beautiful on their own!
I actually prefer them without the black base because I feel like they’re meant to be vibrant colours and the black makes it less obvious if you’re not in certain lighting, oh but it does go well with very sheer nail polish

I have been on a no-buy for polish for awhile, so I "make" new polish by layering different colors and finishes. These would be perfect. Maybe someday! 😊
I give OPI credit for trying something new in these last two collections. I still love their traditional creme collections too though seeing that they are a salon brand appealing to the masses verses collectors.
I love to keep swatch sticks of all my sheer shimmer colors over black and white to get an idea of what these would look like as toppers over other colors in general. They will often look completely different over light vs dark base colors. Polishes like these also add a fun splash for an accent nail in a cream manicure of a similar color (green cream with the green shimmer as a topper on one nail). For the swatch sticks, I put white on one half and black on the other to save sticks.
You are not alone with doing the dishes. I feel the same way about cleaning them myself, because I know they are clean! Some people don't always use soap (my boyfriend)!
I know it’s extra work but it would be great to have that summary chart card on swatch and reviews like at the end of the color favorites videos. And maybe leave it up longer - those are so helpful!!!!

I can relate to the "trust" part of your fun fact. When my SO washes dishes, sometimes I find dried, stuck bits of food later so I refuse to the use the dish and put it back in the sink. He gets annoyed, but obviously he didn't do it right the first time so it needs to be done again.
I actually like Your Lime To Shine. In certain light it reminds me of a Frozen Lime Daiquiri! I have never been a fan of the Infinite Shine line, the formula doesn't seem to last as long on my nails and it usually pretty streaky for me. I'll make an exception this time, LOL!
Wow!!! The iridescent flakies are an absolutely gorgeous collection!!! I really want Pigment of My Imagination and Magic Hour just so I can wear them over black, or possibly other dark colors.
I don't like magic hour or ray-diance on their own, but I think used as toppers over a solid neon orange or neon pink cream polish they would be beautiful!
Omg Kelli, I didn't know what you were going to say how she did them, but I was NOT expecting that. I was shook. I've tried to gently suggest to my boyfriend that he needs to have a wash side of the sink and a rinse side so he's not running water constantly (he does a dirty side and a wash side and then rinses them over the water and I'm like..."that's inneficient" but I don't say it out loud cause I'm nicer than that XD so I told him about how we were supposed to do it at the daycare I worked at for heath reasons and also when I did dishes at an industrial kitchen, they had 3 sections, wash, rinse, and sanitize). Also I saw him using a dish sponge to clean them and I was like oh noooooooooooo because sponges are so gross and they pick up so much bacteria. I'm really grateful that he does the dishes because they'd stack up and I'd be too overwhelmed to ever do them but I could not let this go on and had to ask him to only use the sponge to get food off if he HAD to use it and to use a scrub brush or clean dish rag that had been dried in between. OMG. I was so shook by your fun fact that I had to get on my computer and come make a comment. Usually I watch RUclips from my smart TV which I cannot comment from, but my eyes are still like O.O from hearing it.
I thought the same thing about it being like Sunset Cruise from Cirque before you said it! I've got the regular collection in my cart! I can't get the infinite shine polishes online because they are sold out, but a local shop always gets the collection and they don't sell out as fast there.
Well shoot......I was so disappointed in this and the Neo Pearls (is that right?) for spring but seeing these over black? WOWZERS!!! Now I gotta go get some of these. Especially love the blue and orange-y ones. Didn’t like them at all by themselves but over the black they were stunning. Thank you!!!

Great video! Yes, please do a comparison of regular and infinite shine OPI. I recently bought some infinite shine polishes and I’m finding they chip fairly quickly.
Liked both collections but if i had to choose would probably go with the first one. Especially liked the last blue color in the first group. Can see it Spring, Summer or Winter but not so much Fall. Great job. 👍🌸😻💜⛸

I bought the purple prism one, the very first one you reviewed and thought it was so sheer...I had to put 3-4 coats to get the coverage I like! Beautiful polish, though. I was thinking, "I bet this looks great over black." And now I know! Thanks for the video..

I actually gravitated toward the yellow, orange, and green in the normal collection. I usually do the opposite, but there was something about those colors that I loved. I tried the green as a pedicure color and wasn’t that impressed. It wasn’t until I saw polish lab rat layer one over a random creme that I got excited to try layering them. I need a mani change so I think I’ll do just that next!
Your hair and makeup are amazing!!! Love it ♥️♥️♥️. Now I wanna get pink and purple back in my hair 😄. As for the nail polish, I really wasn't feeling the infinite shine collection. They all look the same over black to me and they're too sheer. The hidden prism collection I love cause I've been really into using iridescent flakie polishes.
You should put the flakies over the corresponding pearls or mix them up a bit??? I loved them all...but I agree, the pearls over the black was a no go. They all look super beautiful all on their own.

I love these polishes. I thought it was a little disappointing that the orange and yellow from the regular line didn't look orange or yellow over black. Lol You sound like my mom, I think she also thinks no one can get the dishes clean. I think she re-washes the dishes I wash when I visit her.
Finally another person who loves doing the dishes. I also don't trust anyone either. Lol I'm not a fan of this collection. I may buy the green one. I take screen shots of all the polished I like. I actually like Your Lime To Shine. In certain light it reminds me of a Frozen Lime Daiquiri! I have never been a fan of the Infinite Shine line, the formula doesn't seem to last as long on my nails and it usually pretty streaky for me. I'll make an exception this time, LOL!
Wow!!! The iridescent flakies are an absolutely gorgeous collection!!! I really want Pigment of My Imagination and Magic Hour just so I can wear them over black, or possibly other dark colors.

I don't like magic hour or ray-diance on their own, but I think used as toppers over a solid neon orange or neon pink cream polish they would be beautiful!
Omg Kelli, I didn't know what you were going to say how she did them, but I was NOT expecting that. I was shook. I've tried to gently suggest to my boyfriend that he needs to have a wash side of the sink and a rinse side so he's not running water constantly (he does a dirty side and a wash side and then rinses them over the water and I'm like..."that's inneficient" but I don't say it out loud cause I'm nicer than that XD so I told him about how we were supposed to do it at the daycare I worked at for heath reasons and also when I did dishes at an industrial kitchen, they had 3 sections, wash, rinse, and sanitize). Also I saw him using a dish sponge to clean them and I was like oh noooooooooooo because sponges are so gross and they pick up so much bacteria. I'm really grateful that he does the dishes because they'd stack up and I'd be too overwhelmed to ever do them but I could not let this go on and had to ask him to only use the sponge to get food off if he HAD to use it and to use a scrub brush or clean dish rag that had been dried in between. OMG.

I thought the same thing about it being like Sunset Cruise from Cirque before you said it! I've got the regular collection in my cart! I can't get the infinite shine polishes online because they are sold out, but a local shop always gets the collection and they don't sell out as fast there.
I think you're really gonna love them, my camera couldnt even capture all the flakie beauty!
Well shoot......I was so disappointed in this and the Neo Pearls (is that right?) for spring but seeing these over black? WOWZERS!!! Now I gotta go get some of these. Especially love the blue and orange-y ones. Didn’t like them at all by themselves but over the black they were stunning. Thank you!!!

Liked both collections but if i had to choose would probably go with the first one. Especially liked the last blue color in the first group. Can see it Spring, Summer or Winter but not so much Fall. Great job. 👍🌸😻💜⛸

The pearlised finish are nice but the flakies omg they’re gorgeouuus !!! I prefer them on their own but over black is kinda nice too 🤔

I bought the purple prism one, the very first one you reviewed and thought it was so sheer...I had to put 3-4 coats to get the coverage I like! Beautiful polish, though. I was thinking, "I bet this looks great over black." And now I know! Thanks for the video..

Your Lime to Shine might look really pretty over a navy or royal blue
I actually gravitated toward the yellow, orange, and green in the normal collection. I usually do the opposite, but there was something about those colors that I loved. I tried the green as a pedicure color and wasn’t that impressed. It wasn’t until I saw polish lab rat layer one over a random creme that I got excited to try layering them. I need a mani change so I think I’ll do just that next!

They all look the same over black to me and they're too sheer. The hidden prism collection I love cause I've been really into using iridescent flakie polishes.

The OPI hidden prism infinite shine collection.. Try it over white. It will look like pearls/mussells/ Shells. It looks better over white
I love these polishes. I thought it was a little disappointing that the orange and yellow from the regular line didn't look orange or yellow over black. Lol You sound like my mom, I think she also thinks no one can get the dishes clean. I think she re-washes the dishes I wash when I visit her.
Ha! I will admit, I don't rewash! But I don't let anyone do any washing in the first place 😂

I'm not a fan of this collection. I may buy the green one. I take screen shots of all the polished I like. I wait a week and I'll look at them again. Sometimes I delete a few and I'll buy my favorites. The others I have on an Amazon wishlist.
