My problem is my loser mentality of hate is towards myself and being lost on what I’m doing here. I’ve been drowning on focuses on my flaws and non-existent truths only brought to fruition cause I let it. I’m trying to find what I can do to fix this, to start loving myself, accepting my flaws, and building me to be my best me.
That's a very dangerous mentality. Not everyone can do anything, not by a long shot. You're setting yourself up for a depressing life if you truly believe that. Figure out what you are good at and make that your purpose... Don't try to become something you can never be because motivational quotes said you could do it if you "put your mind to it."
I want to be taller than 6 ft, not possible...I want to be not disabled...not possible...you can't achieve what ever you want and it's exactly people like you giving people false hope that people have the loser mentality because their whole life people tell them they can achieve anything which is actually not a realistic expectation. No you can't achieve anything, you can only achieve what your abilities allow you to achieve.
i don't think i have a loser mentality, but i was picked on a lot in high school and it affected my self esteem pretty bad. now that i'm older, i worry that i'm just not good enough, that i'm doing something wrong or what others think about me. because i was picked on, i have kind of a negative self perception, i don't hate myself or anything but it makes me think that i'm an easy target and those kids picked on me for a reason, and in my adult life, i just worry that when i meet people, they don't like me or have a negative first impression of me
@Ed M I think pycho have a fear of not being in control of something ...they have a feel of fear even though it's almost muted compare to us, I don't think they are machines they are human
for anyone curious, the quote joe was trying to remember in the beginning is “being jealous is the same as drinking poison and expecting the other person to die”
Don't hate people that are better than you. Admire the dedication, consistency, sacrifaces and work etic that took them to be there and if you want to beat them and willing to do the sacrifaces necessary to reach that level then believe in yourself and go for it without second taughts or distractions.
A loser to me is someone not driven to succeed but someone dependant on failures. Life is a learning curve and a spiritual output is wetness to the bones and is blood to the veins. It drives one to succeed and connect with all senses. The power of faith is supernatural for someone looking to succeed in life and its a motivation for bad moments and let downs.
As a musician in his 20's I feel stuck in a halfway and I'm usually conscious about it. A lot of times I see someone who's way better or knows something and theres a part thats like "fuck why cant i do that? Why can they understand it so easy?" Then another part thats like "i can get better than them with diligence." The biggest negative to the 'loser mentality' would be as an introvert, I find it very hard to not be jealous at people who get places because of their ability to connect and conversate with people. For me, its a lot harder to stay remembered even when I leave a lasting impression. They'll remember the well experience, but not my face.
I've heard it a few way's "Having hate for someone is like drinking poison expecting the other person to die." "Resentment is drinking poison, hoping the other person will die." all the same message though ha.
Hating yes but wondering? Super useful to wonder why someone is successful so you can emulate it. Also joe is afraid he’ll get slipped up by online comments and he cares what people think
Sometimes success works for people because of the personalized situation they are in or opportunities that were shown to them. The best thing to learn is how to notice and exploit opportunities when they come.
success is different for each person... to me as an example success is to play a shit ton of pc games, write some music and not care what the rest of you think about it... the last part is the difficult part... sure i can copy another musician, listen to his music and then try to make my own sound like his... but what is the fucking point then? then i might aswell be a working man... it is no longer MY music... it is no longer what I, MARTIN MIKKELSEN brought to the world... now it is just an attempt at trying to achieve respect, money or power from others through music... even if i manage to achieve those three things by copying another person then i still lost the ability to add something new to the world...
Bruh. That's not the form of wondering he means, obviously. Lol... I don't think he gives a fuck about what plebs think of him rofl He just doesnt wanna deal with it because losers hide behind a screen and talk mad shit.
I can relate this to playing my guitar on stage or with a new band. Someone is better then me which means there is a huge learning curve that I can take advantage of. Some of the best experiences so far to happen to me.
I love when people gets jealous, it means they are insecure so you can outstep them faster, it is an easy competition when your rival is bitterly jealous
i’ve reached such a “who gives a shit what people think, just do you” mentality, and i almost feel guilty for how enlightened i feel. It’s craaaaazyy!!!!!! i feel guilty because not everyone feels this way but it’s an awesome feeling. not even in an ignorant way am i like this it’s just internally
People don’t realize the awful treatment they dish out to others for whatever reason, only makes us work harder to better ourselves. It’s fuel and energy for us to push past all the criticism and make ourselves into the better overall person! In Essence their shifty behavior transforms us into better people through harder work. Assholes essentially create this better version of us, and it will piss them off. Their new jealousy will now make them re-evaluate their situation and make them work harder, while we have moved on. Peace! Hopefully then learn something about themselves in the process.......
I didnt realize this growing up in foster care. Once I was 18 I dumped all the negative abusive comments that were heaped on me for years and never looked back. Never been happier!
So true. I find that if someone expends energy being angry/annoyed/frustrated at me, or worse yet - hating me, then they could very well be jealous. You don't need to expend energy on these idiots. Every time someone told me "you can't do that" or "you're not ready for that" or "you could never get that job"....I've proven them wrong. F--k Them. Focus on what's in front of you! :)
There is a difference between wondering how someone found success and being envious of that success. Some of us did not live or have success around us. To try to have success ourselves we may need to see and find success in others to find it in ourselves.
I love the way Joe puts this in perspective using Martial Arts ... If you know of someone who has better skills and is better, it should inspire you to want to be friends with those ppl and learn from them to be better. Why hate a person coz they are being successful or better? Why not embrace it and learn from it?
I think it’s great focusing on other successful people if you look at it from a winners mindset, it’s motivation. The problem is when people hate winners and think they can’t become one.
Not everyone can be a winner. If everyone was a winner - winners wouldn’t be special. Just be happy there are so many loser out there so you can feel good about yourself. Don’t pretend to give a shit about others. Your a winner. The fact that the majority of people “live lives of quiet desperation” make you the winner.
I'd say that wondering why someone is successful can bring you success yourself. Just because you wonder why does not mean its a bad thing, figure out the events and the effort that came to play that brought success and follow. Unless you want your own route to success.
I like to work just enough to survive. The rest of my time I like to do as little as possible, be around as few people as possible and daydream as much as possible. I'm absolutely broke but this lifestyle makes me extremely happy and I spend zero time considering another person's ideas of success.
I think there’s a difference between envy and hating. Hating is a waste of time but envying means there’s an inner desire to want what the other person has, which would not only tell you something about yourself but also encourage you to pursue and work hard towards that thing
In our society now, when people are successful, others try to tear them down. It used to be if you saw someone who was successful, you wanted to find out how they did it and emulate them so you can be successful too. No more.

Way to steal that same comment thats been posted like 40 different times already on this video.
I don't wonder why people are successful, I know the hard work and dedication it takes... I'm just too lazy and aloof to do it.
Not always about hard work. It can also be about luck, some reality stars got cast, acted the fool and are now household names. Not studying in college/drama school or running track for years to get recognised. I don't envy them, but luck will always beat 'hard work'
RESPECT FOR ADMITTING THIS. MORE PEOPLE NEED TO DO THIS AND STOP KIDDING THEMSELVES
mediacenter man it really isn’t all luck. People who say success is luck just really want to believe it is. I’d say it’s only luck when you are born into wealth.
@Odyssey Haus u can never have financial freedom working for someone else. And with the Internet it's no longer about who you know. When u sell online your connections etc doesn't matter it's a knowledge skill game. There are 16 year olds who are making 6 figures a year selling slime on instagram. The old model of work way up in corporate is finished.
akshay Viswambharan that’s not a sustainable system
Able bodied 36 year olds can’t break into the selling Slime on Instagram market but we have lots of able bodied men 26-40 years old figuratively sitting around

I love the last thing he says, people can get so bitter when you’re doing “better” because it shows them they don’t have an excuse 👌🏻
You can achieve whatever you want. Don’t listen to what anyone tells you, mind over matter.
Truth
Frog Man you haven’t put in the work...

"The fact that you aren't where you want to be should be enough motivation to be keep going."
i don't think i have a loser mentality, but i was picked on a lot in high school and it affected my self esteem pretty bad. now that i'm older, i worry that i'm just not good enough, that i'm doing something wrong or what others think about me. because i was picked on, i have kind of a negative self perception, i don't hate myself or anything but it makes me think that i'm an easy target and those kids picked on me for a reason, and in my adult life, i just worry that when i meet people, they don't like me or have a negative first impression of me
I hope you're doing better now 🙌🏿🙏🏿
Yea thats a damaged self esteem
I was on rejected by girls and as I got better I was so confusing to me and them cause I simply couldn’t accept it

People worry way too much about what other people think.
for anyone curious, the quote joe was trying to remember in the beginning is “being jealous is the same as drinking poison and expecting the other person to die”
Don't hate people that are better than you. Admire the dedication, consistency, sacrifaces and work etic that took them to be there and if you want to beat them and willing to do the sacrifaces necessary to reach that level then believe in yourself and go for it without second taughts or distractions.
Best advice I’ve ever heard holy shit you’re better than my therapist
There’s literally no point in having a therapist lol shits a scam
"It's like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer." 🙂
Having jealousy and envy is like drinking poison and expecting your enemy to die.
That was the quote from the beginning
They say you need to love yourself, then when you love yourself you're selfish, egotistical and just full of yourself.
Why can they understand it so easy?" Then another part thats like "i can get better than them with diligence."
The biggest negative to the 'loser mentality' would be as an introvert, I find it very hard to not be jealous at people who get places because of their ability to connect and conversate with people. For me, its a lot harder to stay remembered even when I leave a lasting impression. They'll remember the well experience, but not my face.
In other words everything happens FOR us, This was such a good clip. So full of empowering thoughts that replace the loser victim mentality. Radical.

Lol...

@@eylonemuskson4177 Exactly!
Never thought of it this way, but now that you said it, and I'm looking back at it, you are absolutely 100% correct. Awesome comment my man.
Winners never call others losers, because in order to win you must have been a loser first or stared down at failure. The master was once a student.
Insanely good advice to live by.
The problem here is comparing. It's not healthy to constantly compare yourself with others.
The problem is when people hate winners and think they can’t become one.
why do you talk like you now everything. i bet you are still living in your mother house.
Thats the Story of my life I had to avoid toxic people since high school ...

No more.
