Bougainville needs sunlight and ample water supply..it's not so sensitive plant so don't bother much about the watering intervals just make sure potting mixture is not too dry..once it gets acquainted with the climate and new environment of your terrace in the evening you can try some fermented groundnut mixture fertilizer along with some cowdung ( maximum diluted else plant will get dried off ) and on the aesthetic front it will be good if you keep white Bougainville alternatively to the coloured ones..
