I grew up in a very small town in USA, right on the beach. My mom would prepare crab meat and sell it out of a cooler at the end of our driveway leading up to our home. People would drop by, take as much crab meat as they wanted and put their money into a container. Some times, she would find a note "ran out of small bills, will drop by tomorrow and square up." Sadly, those days are long gone but it's nice to see other parts of the world where this type of business still exists. Keep the videos coming Finn....love 'em!

Finn, today, I was packing for my trip to the Philippines and decided to use Sherlyn's method of packing clothes. I managed to get everything in one bag (that bag is really tight). I cannot wait to get back to the Philippines. This is my 5th time to visit the country but has been 3 years since my last visit. I have only two weeks in the country and spending most of my time in Manila and Cebu. I am enjoying the videos (the Batanes ones are great). Thank you for the wonderful videos. I do hope you are enjoying yourself.

Hi Finn! 😁 You and Sherlyn should experience Batanes during the winter season. It’s around December to February. Batanes is the only province in the Philippines that experiences such season. No snow, only freaking cold breeze throughout the day. You will surely have second thoughts if you are really in the Philippines because you will see Ivatans wearing thick and layered clothings. Also, experience one of the Fiestas. It’s not as grand as the festivals of other provinces, but you will surely enjoy meeting people in different walks of life. You will have an extraordinary experience of our culture as Ivatan tribe and its an opportunity to know more good things and values we uphold with utmost importance.

There's green everywhere. So refreshing to the eye.
This honesty shop reminded me of the time my family was driving down the coast of Hawaii. Saw a fruit stand by the side of the road owned by a local, no one was there instead just fruits and a cash box. You get what you want and leave your payment. Looks like any household that has produce does it as we saw multiple fruit stand along the road 👍🏼Never expected it that we have that here in the Philippines! Batanes you keep blowing my mind ! Thanks for bringing as along Finn and Sherlyn.

Really great captures of the low altitude flying of the drone, bro! 👍 Watching your vids makes me nostalgic again of the times that I have been there.. and it was just last year. Like what you've said, every nooks of the island is IG-worthy that you'll find yourself doing frequent stops along the way. In fact, my biggest worry when I was there is running out of memory cards and storage. Loads and loads of pics that I brought back home with me from that island. While in Batan, never miss Marlboro Country, Vayan Rolling Hills, and the boulder beaches. You can tell Sherlyn to reenact Julie Andrew's "Sound of Music" in Marlboro Hills.. while you yourself can do the rolling log down the hill (but make sure your terrain is a hill.. not a cliff 🤣). Great adventures ahead with your lovey doves, guys, and you will see later on that the landscapes will morph into something even more mesmerizing as you head into the farther islands (i.e, Sabtang and Itbayat 😉)

I think THAT is the concept of the shop HONESTY Finn, that is why no one will assist you. You write down your purchases and drop your payment. Customer can be honest or not, up to them. Pay what you get or take them and leave without paying.

Japanese copied it...back when PH was still not a third world country...we also have a post office like box where u can drop your babies if you cannot support it....and Filipinos back then have a uniform for each kind of work...remember we were become a little bit in our own after Spaniards then Came American another dilemma Filipino Face again...and the rest ishistory why we became a third world...and we cannot change the Hostory...back then there are many Filipino who are well educated who’s been hired in Europe like JoseRizal and company to works there.

Actually, i think this is a good idea. As long as u set it up inside a village or subdivision and protected by cctv.
