{53} DIY Tapered Cut w/Braid-out

In this video I show you how I cut my hair into a tapered style. I am not a professional (obviously), I just wanted my hair cut into a style where I would be able to show my grown out undercut and a tapered cut was the best thing to do. I got my scissors and went to town, I felt so happy cutting my hair LOL. I will be letting it grow out and just cutting it to even it out as it grows. Hope you enjoy!

PurpleIphone7 thanks much, it wouldn't be much of a video because I don't do anything really. I just wear a satin bonnet, when I do twist or braid outs the almost always last very long. I rarely have to retwist, usually I just shake it out, add some oil in the morning and I'm good to go.

I loved your long hair, but I really love the way this cut looks on you too. Definitely time to enjoy your hair. Besides, you have all the videos of your hair when it was long and all the things you did with it and you can always grow it out agin if you want.

Coconut oil never worked for me and naptural85 recently mentioned her hair started to react to it after using it for years. Do you think coconut oil also had an adverse effect for you? Maybe your hair changed and no longer enjoys it?

Gurllllllllllll, no don't say that LOL. I saw her video and it got me thinking 😕 My scalp is really itchy (just scratched my head after typing that SMH) and I'm like could I too be having a reaction to it after all this time? But I don't want to think that only because I watched her video you know. Good thing you were able to figure it out early, next time I shampoo I'm actually gonna test out not using anything coconut oil and see how my scalp feels. So we shall see. 😊

Lol! Coconut oil made my scalp scream, that oil is no joke.
