Leave it to the John Wick team to do a "female empowerment movie" that looks like it get's it right! Halle Berry's performance in John Wick was absolutely incredible. If you want another movie example, I'd suggest Dredd.
i cannot wait for this movie Ana De Armas is freaking stunning and great actress, R.I.P to the Late and great Lance Reddick and i believe it's set somewhere in the events of the 3rd John Wick movie because that was john going to request passage to Casa Blanca to visit Sofia (Halle Berry)
“She wasn’t taught not to talk to strangers right” yeah kinda hard to especially when it’s mentioned her ONLY PARENT IS DEAD. Which is clearly what leads to the scene with Winston asking about dancing. How has someone in comments missed this and the reaction too???
I've have heard that the Ballerina was the dancer practicing before Anjelica Huston on the stage in John Wick 3. The movie primarily takes place between John Wick 3 and 4.
@@Sam_of_Anarchy92 I understand the ballerina in the first film (or third in this case) isn't the same actress. There is what seems to be the same scene in the trailer but from the reverse perspective with the new actress. I believe it was shot to remove the feeling of retconning a new character into continuity. Like what Marvel did with Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel.
Am i misremembering or wasnt it the Ruska Roma that also trained Wick as a boy? If so it seems like the assassins that come from that group in universe are just built different ultra bad asses.
1:20 I thought it was creepy too, but I changed my thoughts after I saw a police officer in the background. So my guess is that, that place was an orphanage or a police station, and someone called him to come get her. Just my theory,
Aaaand both of these comments are missing the fact that she mentions IN THE TRAILER that her father was killed, which is clearly why her face was bloody and clearly why she seemed so agreeable to “the stranger” (Winston/Ian McShane) seeing him either as a new parental figure or seeing this as not taking a risk because she feels like she lost everything already. Nothin’ creepy about it when you apply this little thing called: ✨ common sense ✨
A revenge story of a woman with a kitty that was killed!
