I hate when you say the "if you find me tolerable" thing. You are the Best Beauty youtuber that I know AND Trust me, I watch a lot of youtubers, but your content Is different AND so are you!. There's no need to say that, we love you just the way you are AND my heart breaks everytime you say that. It's like influencers when they say: " sorry that I'm not Wearing makeup right now". If people doesn't find you "tolerable" well that's their problem!!! You are amazing!
I think it's funny because it sets you apart. You're wonderful and more than tolerable but I think it shows your humor. You decide what you want to do of course. Just wanted to say I don't necessarily see it as you knocking yourself as much as setting yourself apart from the drama fray. Cheers!

Chelsea Tacker Nope, how is it? 🙂 The one I’ve been loving recently is (surprisingly!) ColourPop’s tinted moisturizer. None of their other face base products work for me, but this one somehow does. I’ve heard some people say that it’s very similar to the CC cream from Thrive and if that’s the case, I’m interested! 💕
Chelsea Tacker why would I try a multi level marketing scheme’s product? But I have and it was the WORST foundation I’ve ever used in my life, definitely up there with the maybelline matte mouse foundation we all used years ago. My mom, grandma and myself all tried it and it was disgusting.
ooooh I'm early! Love your videos, Amanda :-) Edited to add that having sunscreen in foundations annoys me SO MUCH. So many people are sensitive/allergic to chemical sunscreens, and the amount of sunscreen in there isn't even enough to do anything besides give people false confidence in their sun protection. I wear a separate sunscreen underneath always, and some foundations contain sunscreens that can break down the sunscreen ingredients in my own sunscreen, if that makes sense. Drives me bonkers
I totally agree. I wanted to buy a foundation for weddings, since my boyfriend's cousins were getting married one after another before the pandemic; so i wanted something to give me a little coverage and looked pretty in video and photographs, but almost every foundation that i wanted to try had sunscreen in it (like the Lancôme Teint Idole one or the IT Cosmetics' CC Cream), so i gave up. I recently bought MAC's Fix Plus Powder foundation and although i haven't tested it in that specific situation yet, i'm glad it doesn't have sunscreen and looks matte without looking flat.
@@enx2526 try the Oatmeal foundation by Ere Perez! It's cruelty free and organice skincare. Ihavesensitive dry skin N right now this is the only one that doesnt break me out. I tried the it CC cream but it sits funny on my skin, emphasizes texture and breaks me out sadly.
I'm the same way. I'm so sensitive to sunscreens so I'd rather just have them seperate. Nothing sucks more than a foundation that you love the look of but it ends up breaking me out of burning my eye's because of the spf! All I want is Purito Comfy Water spf and nothing else lol.
IT cosmetics only uses physical sunscreens in their products containing sunscreen, never chemical sunscreen. So you shouldn't have issues with sensitivity. That being said, I still use sunscreen underneath, because better safe than sorry with sun care 🙂
For the over 50 crowd .. I was so bummed when IT stopped making the bye bye lines foundation I had switched from the CC cream because the CC cream settled into fine lines and the bye bye foundation did not (well actually it did slightly but it was way better) anyway I’ve been using the your skin but better and I’m telling you it’s awesome ! If you have fine or even moderate lines it does not settle in at all! The finish is so natural it’s ridiculous!
Mid a bit if sunscreen (chemical) in with your IT cc cream. What a difference it makes . Im 52 with dry skin as I use retin a and this combo works sooooo good
I may have to try this. But, I honestly wish they would just increase their CC cream to 40 shades!! I’ve always wanted to try the CC cream bc everyone loves it but they don’t carry my shade😐😐An ulta consultant tried to sell me 3 different shades to mix together😑😑 No way I’d pay $120 bc IT only accommodates 11 shades!!
Hi! I work for IT. We have wanted to expand our cc range for years and it is very difficult because the mineral spf causes the colors to oxidize so we have always had to keep it to a very limited range. I’m so happy to have a more inclusive shade range in this new foundation!!

I actually wasn't interested in the new foundation at all, but after this video, I'm sold omg. I am constantly looking for thin, fluid like foundations/base products. On my skin, even if something is only light coverage, if the consistency is too thick (like a lot of tinted moisturizers/bb/cc creams), it will still emphasize my pores and texture. That same emphasizing textural dryness issue you mentioned is the sole reason why 90% of foundations never work for me! It’s SOOO frustrating! I’m thrilled you were able to combat this issue with future dew, I’ll so be picking that up! The consistency and finish of this reminds me a lot of Makeup forever water blend, very liquid and just becomes one with the face. So far the only negative with water blend is the scent, it’s a strange floral/fresh scent that I just don’t particularly like...ugh fragrance in skincare/makeup is the worst!
Thanks so much for this review! I had low expectations considering their last few launches even though I have really loved the original CC Cream. This looks incredible on you. You look so healthy, fresh, youthful, polished and yet so natural. I don't have a tube of the CC Cream right now since I'm trying to use up some foundations before purchasing more, but I'll always go back to it as well esp. after I give birth again since it's so easy to throw on in the postpartum phase when I need to streamline moisturizer, SPF and foundation. I think I'll stick to the original CC cream because I don't want to bother getting another product to make a foundation work. If I wanted a skin-like foundation, I have other options so a pass on this foundation for me!
Interesting about the CC cream enhancing texture. It is the only thing I have ever had success with on my dry, dark blue circles (yes I used it like a corrector/concealer in Med W-slightly darker and warmer than my skin.) I use tiny amounts and it does’t cling to texture or lines and leaves no gray cast!
I was wondering how this product and the Koh gen do aqua compares? And which you prefer? Which is more natural looking ? But also coverage ? Thanks!! ❤️
it's quite similar! The Koh gen do has slightly more dew and will always be my holy grail (I can't make it look bad if I tried). But this formula is also very pretty (and more affordable...)

This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone try foundation and have the same issue I have with SO many foundations - that dry skin look (plus for me, it would sink into my pores so it looks like dots of foundation, surrounded by scaly skin. So gross!!). I’ll re-try some of the foundations I have that I wanted to love, with something different underneath.
Great video! I'm always on the lookout for skin like finishes that are long lasting (combination skin) and with a good shade range. I have a light warm olive skin tone and shade matching has been a struggle for some time but it's getting better now. The foundation I'm currently loving is the EX1 Invisiwear foundation, looks like nothing on the skin. Have you tried it???
You said texture, so are you sure the makeup was not pilling? Thanks for the idea about layering with a different primer, and using a drop of oil sometimes myself. Thanks for the tip!

It's so good! I have tried it & have a full review! The Shiseido is much more creamy natural and probably more naturally suited towards dry skin or mature skin than the new IT foundation but I love both!
Hi Amanda ❤️ have you tried the Nars all day luminous weightless? Does it compare to that ones very watery thin texture at all? I love that foundation but I’ve noticed it also highlights dry flaky bits of skin (also using retinols) that normally I don’t even see. I’m hoping maybe the future dew might combine well with it 🙏🏻
Amanda! I had the same issue with the BareMinerals Bareskin Pro Serum foundation. I had slight peeling from retin-a and it accentuated it soooo much! Something about those thin liquidy formulas must be the cause
BTW-it was so unflattering I returned it! Other foundations made the peely skin more noticeable as compared to my makeup-free skin, but the Bareskin Pro was offensive! 🤣You found a wonderful fix, way to go!
This is the issue I’ve been having with the Colourpop pretty fresh foundation! It just looks textured on certain areas of my face where it’s not usually visible... but I do prime with glossier futuredew so maybe I need to try an oil instead I’ve been mixing it with the CYO lifeproof which is too dark for me which makes it a lot smoother but I was hoping it could just be my no-fuss higher coverage foundation for when I fancy it
any dupe for the glossier future dew? Since they dont ship to my country. Which one would be better? Mac face and body or the it cosmetics cc cream? I love it to be more consistent since I have to go to school but also work and stuff.

I use the CC cream right now and I’m wondering. does the foundation cover dark spots better?? I minor hyperpigmentation on my cheeks that always seem to show through just a little bit with the CC cream and I really want to try this foundation but since you said it’s thin and watery I’m not sure if it will cover them
Thank you... I am really interested in the FutureDew but, is it a primer? By the way, the much-recommended IT Cosmetics CC Cream really caked on my dry, aging skin, even after intense hydration, day and night. Sephora had given me a generous sample of it and I had the opportunity to try it for a long time. Missha BB Cream works a lot better and has foundation like coverage as well as the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel but that does not cover as much.
I love the Misha as well! Great product, I just wish there were more shades! Yes the glossier is a serum-hybrid that works both as a skincare serum, but gives you a long-lasting glowy finish! I talk about it in my "unique" formulas video I uploaded a week ago I highly recommend watching it if you're interested in the formula!
I am fair, dry skin, do you think CC illumination or Normal Cc by it? I still have yet to triy it. If you get a moment thanks and I am just asking I know it's a who knows issue.

I hated the CC cream at first but now I love it especially in the winter it doesn’t go so oily as it did in the summer I used the matte.

I think I'll stick to the original CC cream because I don't want to bother getting another product to make a foundation work. If I wanted a skin-like foundation, I have other options so a pass on this foundation for me!

Might have to give this a try. The CC cream was always too yellow on my skin.
Interesting about the CC cream enhancing texture. It is the only thing I have ever had success with on my dry, dark blue circles (yes I used it like a corrector/concealer in Med W-slightly darker and warmer than my skin.) I use tiny amounts and it does’t cling to texture or lines and leaves no gray cast!

it's quite similar! The Koh gen do has slightly more dew and will always be my holy grail (I can't make it look bad if I tried). But this formula is also very pretty (and more affordable...)

This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone try foundation and have the same issue I have with SO many foundations - that dry skin look (plus for me, it would sink into my pores so it looks like dots of foundation, surrounded by scaly skin. So gross!!). I’ll re-try some of the foundations I have that I wanted to love, with something different underneath.

Great video! I'm always on the lookout for skin like finishes that are long lasting (combination skin) and with a good shade range. I have a light warm olive skin tone and shade matching has been a struggle for some time but it's getting better now. The foundation I'm currently loving is the EX1 Invisiwear foundation, looks like nothing on the skin. Have you tried it???

It's so good! I have tried it & have a full review! The Shiseido is much more creamy natural and probably more naturally suited towards dry skin or mature skin than the new IT foundation but I love both!

I love that foundation but I’ve noticed it also highlights dry flaky bits of skin (also using retinols) that normally I don’t even see. I’m hoping maybe the future dew might combine well with it 🙏🏻

Amanda! I had the same issue with the BareMinerals Bareskin Pro Serum foundation. I had slight peeling from retin-a and it accentuated it soooo much! Something about those thin liquidy formulas must be the cause
BTW-it was so unflattering I returned it! Other foundations made the peely skin more noticeable as compared to my makeup-free skin, but the Bareskin Pro was offensive! 🤣You found a wonderful fix, way to go!

This is the issue I’ve been having with the Colourpop pretty fresh foundation! It just looks textured on certain areas of my face where it’s not usually visible... but I do prime with glossier futuredew so maybe I need to try an oil instead
I’ve been mixing it with the CYO lifeproof which is too dark for me which makes it a lot smoother but I was hoping it could just be my no-fuss higher coverage foundation for when I fancy it

You could try the Hourglass 28 primer serum. It’s amazing but it’s $$$
The Simple protect and glow spf 30 face oil gives the same look as future dew , maybe even more glowy and has sun protection and is like £5 !!

Okay, you’ve convinced me I need the foundation in my life!! When you wear future dew as your primer, do you put it over or under your SPF for daytime?
You should wear spf before makeup so basically wear primer after your spf1

I use the CC cream right now and I’m wondering. does the foundation cover dark spots better?? I minor hyperpigmentation on my cheeks that always seem to show through just a little bit with the CC cream and I really want to try this foundation but since you said it’s thin and watery I’m not sure if it will cover them
Thank you... I am really interested in the FutureDew but, is it a primer? By the way, the much-recommended IT Cosmetics CC Cream really caked on my dry, aging skin, even after intense hydration, day and night. Sephora had given me a generous sample of it and I had the opportunity to try it for a long time. Missha BB Cream works a lot better and has foundation like coverage as well as the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel but that does not cover as much.
I love the Misha as well! Great product, I just wish there were more shades! Yes the glossier is a serum-hybrid that works both as a skincare serum, but gives you a long-lasting glowy finish! I talk about it in my "unique" formulas video I uploaded a week ago I highly recommend watching it if you're interested in the formula!
