I swear to god people need to stop saying Bleach repeats arcs all the time. It did it once with Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, and they're not even that similar thematically and structurally. Substitute Shinigami arc, Arrancar Invasion arc, Fake Karakura Town War arc, Fullbringer/Lost Agent arc, TYBW arc, CFYOW are all different. Meanwhile ONE PIECE is literally just "Luffy goes to an island and liberates it from bad guy" all the time with very few exceptions. This is ridiculous. Also how is Ichigo less compelling than Luffy? Luffy is just a goofy guy who has zero character development. Ichigo has some great development in Fullbringer and The Blade is Me, a little in Substitute Shinigami and Hueco Mundo too. I also personally relate to him way more. I'd die protecting my friends and family, otherwise I just want to live a mostly normal life.

Bleach is the best of the big 3 for me. One Piece is too goofy and the world building is actually BAD (because it's isolated in islands and very rarely builds the world at-large). Naruto is too inconsistent. Bleach I have no real complaints woth besides the ending stretch and the anime is supposed to fix that under Tite Kubo's hands-on supervision.
