He basically said that Dean’s death was his greatest success because he died so Sam could have a normal life. One can definitely argue on that. But he also said that it was good that they kept Sam‘s wife ambiguous at the end, because Dean would have never wanted for Sam to end up with someone “from the life”. Which, sorry, is bullshit, especially as Dean said the exact opposite in the show itself.
