Absolutely. Mainstream radio can play R&B music, They just don’t do it anymore. You used to hear R&B songs like promise by Ciara, or Angel of mine by Monica Play them on mainstream radio back in the day but they don’t do it no more

I have high respect for Mya hearing her talk about when she feels uncomfortable that she will put herself in the position to do it herself because people are not always right.

Miss Lady76 - never watched or heard of sista circle just a few interviews what is sista circle it's not exactly a Talk show.
Mya was always a mediocre singer. Especially in the time of Mary J Blige, Brandy, Monica, Mariah etc. Now there is a lot more discussion regarding colorism, I believe she had a great push forward due to her more racially ambiguous look which black people tend to elevate over there own phenotype smh.
