The best buttonhole method I've come across, and the simplest, and you can make it what size you want. Excellent tutorial, really clear! Thank you.

Thanks for posting this. I've been using this buttonhole since I began knitting 36 plus years ago and am always worried about losing my instructions. Now I won't need to worry so much.

I couldn't make sense of the written pattern no matter how hard I tried. This video was super fast and super easy to do and understand. Thank you to the RUclipsr that made this video. It helped me to finish the main part of a project gift just in time for school for a buddy's 10 year old daughter.

OMG what a fool I have been. You make it look so easy and it is. I can not thank you enough, I have only been knitting for 2months now and I thought i would never learn to do a button hole. Your great so great at teaching how to do something. You did it slow enough and spoke very well and that is so hard to find in learning video's. I love your work in this, you made me feel relaxed and like I have done this for year's .Thank you so very much your the first person I have seen that teaches well.

I used this about 6 months ago, and my button holes turned out perfect. I'm back again for a refresher and more button hole. It's perfect; the directions are clear. It's easier than it looks.

The video was very clear and simple. THANKYOU for this! And thanks for the tip to add extra stitch when casting on, cause most of the patterns don't say that. It's my 1ST time to try buttonholes after 40 yrs NOT knitting and not knitting cardigans before too. 🥀🧶🧶🥀

Thank you for your instructions. I worked a buttonhole in my sweater following this older pattern I have and realized after knitting so many rows I did not like the way the buttonhole looked. Needless to say I ripped out the rows including the buttonhole. I came across your video and am looking forward to knitting a buttonhole that looks like yours. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'd never done a buttonhole before, and the pattern instructions for the purse I'm making called for a two-row buttonhole that just didn't look right no matter what I tried, so I ripped it out and looked for alternatives. I'm so glad I found this video! I followed your demonstration with ease and my buttonhole turned out great. :)

You don't show it, but most RUclips knitters put the last slipped stitch (with the last cast on stitch bound off over it) back onto the left needle and knit into it. This makes a massive difference to how that edge of the hole looks and removes the large float you get by just knitting into the next one.
