This is one of my most favorites of their upgrades. It’s absolutely stunning and I love the way they act like the vocal acrobatics they are doing is no big deal. This is also a live recorded video. Great reaction. I agree with your assessment.

Avi is a basso profundo, the difference being is he is able to sing one octave lower then a bass. He did study opera thinking he was gonna go that route, till he met Scott : ) He is so smooth, sometimes I don't even realize it till I feel it lol
It's a power thing too as I understand it. There are always disputes about it whether he is a basso profoundo or a lyric bass on line. Ben Bram recently said basso profoundo when talking about changing arrangements to accommodate Matt's voice instead of Avi's so I go with Ben's opinion.
Listened to all of it this time. I appreciate the less jack jaw going on. Felt you did that once for real reaction. Stopped in the middle and listened to the original song. Leave it to Pentatonix to take a song created by the artist by cutting vocals in, and they like naw, we want to just sing that. And they Killed It!!! thanks for the reaction.
If I do a jack jaw it's because I'm feeling the music a certain way. Doesn't necessarily indicate I'm faking an emotion. Just a facial expression that alludes to the sensation or feel for a beat vibes etc
@@DereckReacts Kinda getting that feeling, but the first one I actually listened to was when you complained about people not listening all the way through. Since I don't use that expression, and not used to seeing it often, it did not hit me as authentic. Your comments so far have been spot on. I will try to think of it as getting over my prejudice thing.☺
