Loved the way he respected hot toys batmobile. I like that he chose to say go with either one. because they're both fantastic. I don't think jazzinc needs to worry about competing with them with the batwing, since hot toys is only going to most likely do a 1/12 scale.

Jazzinc has learned from their mistakes and are killing it now. I have their 89 Batmobile and Batwing coming

    Love Joost, class act.

Wow! Joost is such an amazing individual! It was fantastic to listen to his knowledge of both products! And the respect he has for Hot Toys was pure class... Thank you for this amazing video. The only thing I didn't agree with was the "casual fan..." I'm a huge fan, but I'm lucky to purchase the Hot Toys edition. Or I'd be a huge fan with no wife! Haha! It's an expensive hobby! But the man knows his field... He was absolutely correct when he said Hot Toys may have scanned a stunt car. I found the scene where the Hot Toys version is spot on! And it's my favorite scene.. Cheers!

As Angel intimated, Joost came across very well. Both the Hot Toys and Jazz Inc are excellent products imo, and those who are fortunate enough to obtain one will be very happy. Regarding the differences, I suppose it's very tricky to be 100% accurate as I would wager that Warner used many vehicles/miniatures at varying scales for the two Keaton films, which in turn provides varying reference points. Joost looks to have focused on the main vehicle from the first film, whereas Hot Toys looks to be a pastiche as it has the gadgets which featured in Batman Returns. I would love to get one of these, but would have to have a substantial clearout to make room it.

I have the Hot Toys version. Happy with it but I have the Joost version on order. I've always felt Hot Toys was more "boxy".

I don't think it's the reason for the subtle inaccuracies of the Hot Toys 1:6 Batmobile, but I did hear many years ago that Warners at some point had to chop a little bit of width off of the rear fenders. The story is that the 1989 car was so wide Warners was having a hard time transporting it. I'm not sure I can prove that, but it was talked about a lot back in the day and was accepted as true by many people. Not sure if this was between the 89 movie and Batman Returns or if it was done later.

1/6 scale is not for me, it's just too damn big, now if jazzinc shrinks this down to 1/12 scale I'll be all over that!
