Girl my favorite pink is usually lime crime brand. I have there fuchsia shampoo and conditioner in my shower at all times to touch up my pink when I’m the mood for pink. It matches the chocolate cherry color. I also use wella brands are amazing as well.

You’re very welcome. I love having the shampoo and conditioner but you will want gloves in the shower for them. lol I always put them over the pumps to keep them from dripping in the shower and staining anything. And it’s very strong, so it stains the hands too. I’ve been able to use it to even cover up my faded orange completely when I didn’t have time to redo my 3 colors so I just carefully used it to color the top of my hair, covering my faded orange and bringing my pink and it didn’t touch my purple lol I’ve been coloring my own hair for a long time so I’m damn near an expert lol

Im obsessed! I recently bleached my own darkest brown almost black virgin hair and I’m happy to say it was a success! I definitely recommend you use the Bondbar line at Sally’s.. like all of them! And the booster for the color .. you’ll be AMAZED at how quickly your hair springs back!

if you wanna fade hair dye i would suggest head and shoulders shampoo it does make your hair very dry but it works i used it to get rid of box permeant black hair dye so i could go pink yes it took around 2 weeks for it to fade to brown then i used color oops 2 times then i dyed it pink

You have to use 10 or less volume for the T18 because if you use 20 volume it is coloring the hair and not toning 😉 Oh and K18 works amazing for damaged hair 😁

Freeeeeeeaking gorgeous.....I do mine bright red and it has a pink tone to it been doing it for 15 years now ive done blue green purple teal pink half black and those colors and all over those colors and my favorite is the red with the pink to it pink is definitely my favorite color ever everything is in pink but I love my.hair with the red and when ive done other colors or done a rainbow look in my hair everyone freaked out saying I can't get used to it but its okay cause I can't either lmfao ...so I love doing my hair

Some tips from a veteran hair color diy-er: 1) I think you just needed to leave the bleach on longer if your scalp can stand it, I’ll leave that bleach on for an hour using 20vol. 2)That kiss dye sucks I’m so sorry. 3) try using a Demi permanent toner, they’re acidic which helps close the hair cuticle after bleaching. I really like the ion ones. You’ll definitely get better with practice!

Yeah color oops doesn’t work on fun colors, except for red, it only works on other colors and permanent colors. When you put it on pink the pink turns blue sometimes even greenish, then I put conditioner with developer because when I did another color oops it didn’t do anything, and that turned it into a lighter pinky purple

Should’ve did a few vitamin C treatments first before the color oops. Aislynn always says the 2nd and 3rd vitamin C treatments work the best. The 1st doesn’t do much for some reason.

I would just have done a bleach wash in the color. 10 develiper on the roots. Rince both after 10 mins. Go majenta until it fades into light pink and then go with a lighter bubble gum pink. Far easier. Far faster to get that pink. Less steps. I fast forwarded this like 20 times cause omg girl....... too many steps ! 😅

I also don't have that money for a professional, but my hair was always light blond, but bc of that, it's so thin of its own, so I never dare to bleach it.. 😱 But bc of ageing, my hair became darker.. 🙄 I would love to try, but I'm a chicken ship when it comes to that.. 🫣🤪
But what you can do for growing your hair is take hair vitamins every day for how long you want.. I have had a hair fall out bc of stress, and I started with them, took them every day, double dose, and my hair has grown for more than 10cm!! I even think it's between 15-20cm.. and for me, it was amazing bc that has been my goal since I was little ! 😅😁😁 And please dont take the expensive ones! Myn was a third of the price from the most 'known' just bc it was a brand that was not known so much.. I took them to my doctor to ask if they were good bc with all that chines junk.. 🥴🤪

I was definitely thinking the salon would be a better option, but $400 is a lot. That said, one application of professional color remover at the salon might have been less traumatic for your hair compared to the many processes you ended up needing to do. 😅

Edited to add: my hair was quite a bit longer than yours when I had that service done. So our prices are likely pretty similar.
I’m going to update my RUclips profile pic with one that was taken immediately after my colour correction. Your mind will be blown. She did such an amazing job at getting all the colour out and giving me some wispy highlights to blend my natural hair in with the blonde.
Oh, I have a chunk of black at the front on one side - because I had done a quadrant of my hair in black so I could have split bangs.

Before you apply the pink, i want to say that I think the silvery hue oh your ends will be great under the pink - it’ll prob make a more cool toned pink. I bet this turns out kinda ombré with warm at the top and icier at the bottom and I think it’s gonna be great!!

If you're using semi permanent like me, and not bleaching first, then shampoo but don't condition! The semi permanent dye won't stick as well if you condition; I just did because my hair was dry even with 10lbs of conditioner in it after that bleach loll😭 I'm honestly not completely sure if you should condition or shampoo before the demi permanent or permanent dye. All I know is that if you're bleaching, definitely don't wash for a couple of days so that you have a protective layer of natural oils on your hair! But you shouldn't need to bleach in your situation hahaaa...I HOPE THAT HELPS 🩷🩷🩷 I'M WISHING THE BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY TO BLACK HAIR 💗✨
