Hi,
I am from near by this village so I made extensive study on these temples. Local name of this temple is Mondusale temple and found many books which was written by foreign historians who scientifically studied these forgotten temples in somanathapura. The most important temple is panchakeshwara temple which you showed in other video. where a dance concert was held regularly and hoysalas were giving monthly maintenance for this in gold gadyanas.
Thank you for sharing this interesting information.. Would you be interested in giving the information n front of the camera at the location.. If yes please contact me on microsudhi@gmal.com
Beautiful temple! Please tell me why in this and other temples the front of the stone is different in color from the inside?

OMG! These are valuable treasures to this village. The Hindu endowment board should renew it and not wait for people to do the renovation and collect the donation and Hundi money after everything is done. Beautiful monument.
Agree
@@SudeeshKottikkal Thank you for sharing the video.
When you come across such temples / historical places do mention the location or include in the clip the snapshot of the GPS map. Also include the name of the village / town or any closeby villages.
Will try to add in my next videos
Beautiful temple in danger condition . Government should not think about only hundy money, renovation is also its duty.

The structure is unstable and there were too many bats inside. Hence couldn't go inside
It is built by hoysala dynasty ?
Looks like Hoysala architecture.. but no information from ASI.. its in a state of ruins
Hi Suresh Kottakkal.. can u plz make a vedio on Halebeedu ruined temple.. which is behind the famous Hoyasaleshwara temple.. I have seen the temple ruins in Google maps.. which is even bigger than the great Hoyasaleshwara temple..
Sure Shivakumar.. I think you are talking about Nagareshwara Temple Ruins. Some one has uploaded wrong photo in that marking. That place has no standing structures now. Only foundations of the temple and few carving are remaining there. Last time I did try to film the ruins but the gates were closed for general public. Will try to capture it shortly.
Or if you are mentioning about any other temple please let me know the exact name of the temple.
@@SudeeshKottikkal .. thank you for your kind response.. I want to know only about the ruined standing structure.. which I think once bigger than the great Hoyasaleshwara temple when it was not destroyed by the Muslim army and not about nagareswara temple.. I think this temple (nagareswara temple) is behind the great ruined temple..
I will try to find out and film it at the earliest
@@SudeeshKottikkal .. thank you
Such ancient temple is in ruin condition. Why ASI department is not preserving our heritage site.
There are many such temples around the area, few of them have been restored by ASI , hope they will take up restoration of more temples.
Because some of the star members of ASI are Muslims

No one is there to renonavate. What an isolated beautiful monument. Very pathetic to see such a temple in the amidst of fields. Rich people must come forward to rebuilt the temple.
Place name
Somanathapura near Bannur Mysore
Such utter carelessness by ASI !!!
*The camera panning out & then a seconds blank dark screen breaks the continuity & distracts*
Ok point noted.. Thank you for the feedback
