I agree, I love foals and particularly this song, they have so much talent in song writing and expressivity, but they are not always the best group when it comes to being in-beat or in-tone ;)
It's weird that Yannis is also lead guitar it's usuallsy the rythm guitar with the singer otherwise the other guitarist is underrated from the group but anyway he's strong and nailed it
Helios SH both of them are not lead players. But I think Yannis is the better of the two where Jimmy is more about single note staccato lines. However rhythmically and playing intricate Math Rock lines is where they're at home. Walter and Jack are on another level though!

It's pretty difficult to replicate what they record, I agree Yannis' voice is a little inconsistent but the style of there songs makes it very hard to play in this kind of environment. Not to mention if you see them at a gig it is incredible, they literally bring the place alive, best live band I've ever seen. Playing well live is about more than just replicating a song the way it sounds on an album you know
