I don’t think I’ve ever seen Deep Impact but your reviews confirm what I remember from that time: Deep Impact was the “better” movie but Armageddon was the one that was remembered.
Yep Deep Impact has a lot less "editing" so to say, but it's that Bay aesthetic that really makes Armageddon stand out more. Well that and it had cash to spare.

Love the trivia to it all. I like Armageddon' score but Deep Impact seems more heart to it but fun to remember the competition.
Deep Impact has the better music overall, simply because even if James Horner recycles himself, it's still James elfin Horner
I agree with this completely. I always describe Armageddon as "pure cheese.... but good cheese"
Is Armageddon a notoriously bad movie did critics say it was massively terrible or was there anything good or anything to praise about it
Critics thought it was terrible, but I saw it as well-done junk, well that and nostalgia.
You still say it’s junk but that’s like saying it’s trash/garbage is it really
@@carsonpeterson758 Junk can be good, it just depends on how it's executed
Is the movie trash and we’re critics aware of people liking the movie did they say your wrong for liking it or were they ok with it
@@carsonpeterson758 Critics don't have the same general vibe as audiences, they see far more movies for one thing
When it comes to saving the world from asteroids, Bruce Willis got it done with minimal sacrifice. Therefore Armageddon > Deep Impact.
