@@abbyzaine that's a good way to develop milia around your eyes. lip balm is too thick, occlusive and fragrant to be used on the thin skin around your eyes. you should use something water based and hydrating :^)
@@darcihasselbach4125 vaseline is an emollient, so it works well to soften the skin and give the temporary appearance of moisture but i would recommend something water based that isnt just going to give the appearance of moisture but truly hydrate.

As a skintherapist in training, exfoliating that much in one day everyday is bad for your skin. The skin needs to breathe. Btw your look turned out really good 💕☺️
@@evrafatima6191 I personally would recommend a chemical exfoliate if you have acne as it will go deep into the skin to clean and draw out impurities (only use as recommended, ie: once a day/week) The Inky List has one for around $11(PHA Toner). Salicylic acid, lactic acid, and glycolic acid, are good ingredients (dont use all of them as it can be overly stripping). You can also try a niacinamide serum, helps control oil and acne. The Ordinary has one for less than $10. I like the Ordinary a lot because it tells you what's in the product and what it's for. Always use a mosturizer after. Use sunscreen (30+ is good) in the morning.

@@evrafatima6191 I personally would recommend a chemical exfoliate if you have acne as it will go deep into the skin to clean and draw out impurities (only use as recommended, ie: once a day/week) The Inky List has one for around $11(PHA Toner). Salicylic acid, lactic acid, and glycolic acid, are good ingredients (dont use all of them as it can be overly stripping). You can also try a niacinamide serum, helps control oil and acne. The Ordinary has one for less than $10. I like the Ordinary a lot because it tells you what's in the product and what it's for. Always use a mosturizer after. Use sunscreen (30+ is good) in the morning.

jjo right?! Shes not even going to have to wait too long for the results of all that exfoliating to show up on her skin. The damage, I can already see it, yikes. You can already see some of said damage on her forehead and the skin on her zygomatic bone area... I hope not too many people follow in her footsteps and decide to do the same routine, every skin type is different. Like this week I had to get two facials cause I’m a model for my friend in the competition called Skills USA and she exfoliated my skin Monday and Wednesday to practice for the facial portion of the competition and it was burning so badly on Wednesday. And tomorrow I have to also go through it again!!

Then again you might need a hydrating agent like Nivea to help lock in moisture first ;-; or better yet Aveeno to sooth and moisture ;-;-;-;-;-;-; (I'm still learning about the components of the chemicals used in products so my knowledge is very limited lolololol) But I wish your friend lots of luck in the competition, I hope she wins
