It did not have enough firepower maybe, but it is smart
The A10 carries 11,000 lbs (~1600 gallons) of fuel, not 10,000 gallons.
yep, just did that calculation.

A very good single engine fighter.

Then the credit is for GE.
Sorry but Volvo took the General Electric F404-40 and made it better. Most of the reliability improvements were specific changes that Volvo made....
The Gripen should be Canada's next fighter.
I did not understand how he differs from Rafal, even the steering ears in front are the same.
They are the same generation. Though Rafale is two-engined, heavier. The big difference is that Dassault for selling Rafale isn't dependent on US components in the same way as SAAB (the big part is the engine.)
I think grippen might have create difference with abilities but nobody didnt look at the the plane's skills carefully because . They are scaryying to the fighter's potential and they are preferring to same polytic behaviours. And i am sure lots of new plane company gonna see same mobing. Because They dont want increasing to Fighter plane variant .

50 yr lifetime. Looks like Sweden doesn't throw money down the sewer like the US does with the F-35 white elephant. Besides, unless they find an Entirely new propulsion mechanism, fighters mainly need ECM, AI, and other electronic upgrades. They've about reached the limit in jet propulsion until we back-engineer a UFO 😃
He said I have 35 is a piece of junk well tell Iran in Syria that in Russia as it flies over as 400 doesn’t even see them bombs away as they explode everything in Iran and then Syria
