I completely agree with you about going with the flow; sometimes you find some fun places, and a lot of the time, when you are researching from home it is hard to know where the good places are, but if you are open to changing or adapting you can really find some cool stuff! Hello! Love the content, just suscribed. I have a question. When you were walking around the city, it wasnt very crowded, i wonder is it like that or do i have to be a super early riser to enjoy the tranquil experience that you had? Also, what time of year did you go? Why wasnt the water swimmable?
Thanks so much for subscribing! We went in November so it was the beginning of the high season. There are more people in the December thru February. I know that whale watching is big and unfortunately we missed that experience. We are early risers and try to walk before it gets too hot. The waves in the water were really rough and I wouldn't chance it. I didn't see anyone else in the water when we were there.
The city comes to life in the later afternoon and evenings. The beach is swmmable, it just drops off and gets deep very quickly on this particular stretch she is showing. The best part of San Jose is how safe the area is with a great mix of locals and expats.

we go to san jose 2 to 3 times a year and refused to go anyplace WE ARE HOOKED
It is a wonderful place and we can't wait to return.
