@VP-zk2hw my thought about that would be that the machine itself is Bluetooth, so if the pointer also is Bluetooth and needing to be connected to the headphones, that may be too much and cause some connection issues. The pointer really isn't expensive. It's only $10 more than the Garrett Carrot and it's the same price as minelab and cheaper than XP. So I'd say average to below average price and it does ferrous and non ferrous. That's a darn good deal!
Chris, I got the accupointer and I really like it. My MI4 has been relegated to a backup. I love how it syncs so easily to my headset and the double tones has saved me some digging. Also, the user interface is simple. I used to carry a cheat sheet to change the MI4 settings.
Heck yeah it does brother! I sure hope so! I'm not ready for snow yet! 😫 Actually, I don't mind the snow much as long as the ground is soft and I can still dig 🤣 Wicked happy hunting 👊
@timh132 That's an amazing find! Wish I could find that here in the states! I am fortunate for me to live in Massachusetts and history is as old as it gets here. Sometimes a romantic coin pops up here and there and some 1800s gold coins. Someday!!
Hey bro. I have the legend and accupoint and I've been wondering if mine is faulty to a small degree. I don't use the max sensitivity much but when I do, it doesn't take much for it to just start beeping at nothing or anything. From thin air to everything on/in the ground. And yes hitting the button will stop it, for a little while, then starts back up. I typically keep it at 7 sensitivity, the default, and here lately it will just start beeping. I know you guys seem to use your headphones a lot or all the time. I have them but never use them because I hate wearing headphones. The karate in me feels like I don't know what's going on around me and I very much dislike that so I don't wear them. Point being that people using headphones may not have or notice this issue, or as much. ?? The accupoint will really start singing if you put the legend on 20 hertz (Megahertz or what ever it is), even on default. It may be quiet until you're trying to pinpoint a target and it gets a hit, then it's like it never shuts up. SOMETIMES. So I'm starting not to trust my accupoint. Also, I went hunting today and picked up more on things i noticed last time, such as The legend finds a target, I dig a plug, and the accupoint finds nothing. I have to break out my Garrrett AT Pro, which I don't really trust either because it does beep at everything, sometimes. (it really slows my hunt down so much) The Garrett will find the signal in the plug and I dig a little where it tells me to find the target and most of the time after a few digs from the knife, the Accupoint will finally detect the target. Very Frustrating!! Grrrr Have you noticed any of these symptoms with yours? I started hunting today and immediately noticed this issue again and decided to take time to film this. Didn't get as much footage as I wanted to make a good video of it, so if the weather permits I'm going to go back out tomorrow to get enough footage, and just support footage that it wasn't a one off situation, to complete a good video and put it out as soon as I can get it edited. Love your channel, jealous of the cool places you get to go hunt. Keep up the good work.
P.S. This is my 2nd Accupoint. The first one as soon as I took it out of the box and turned it on, it just started beeping and wouldn't quit. Took it out to an empty parking lot and turned it on and same thing. So returned it and got one from a metal detecting store. They tested this one by taking it out of the box and turning it on and obviously wasn't doing what my 1st was doing just beeping constantly and seemed ok. There wasn't a legend turned on or anything when they tried it out. It doesn't really do it when the Legen is off. (That may be because if the legends off, I'm not out metal detecting. :) My first one didn't matter. I really never even got to turn the legend on with that one. Sorry for the long message.
Thanks for swinging by, and I appreciate that very much! As far as the pointer, I have had mine go bananas a couple of times at full power. Usually, I shut it off and back on, or single push and ground it, and it helps. I think that at full sensitivity, it's just too much in some circumstances. I feel like EMI may affect it a bit because it has only happened to me in a field that has a ton of EMI and affects every machine that has been there. I haven't heard of any issues or a particular issue with the pointers. I did see someone mentioned an issue on Facebook about the pointer being faulty. Personally, I don't see an issue with mine as of now, and my buddy Brian, Silver Assassin Metal Detecting, has one also and has been good for him too. I used to have a Garrett carrot also and that did go crazy at times also. Sometimes it would not detect anything and I would have to shit it off and turn it back on and it would be good and other times, it wouldn't stop beeping and I'd have to restart it.
No need to be sorry! Write away!! 😆 Of course with anything electronic, you just never know if something could fail. I haven't tried to see how the pointer and machine interact, so far in multi, I haven't seen any interference. I also have not used single frequency. If it only reacts to 20khz, then it's possible that the pointer runs on 20khz or something very close. I'm not positive what it runs at though.
Was wondering whether it works with other headsets and I found this. Pretty cool. Bluetooth® Connectivity: Enjoy wireless, lag-free audio by pairing the AccuPOINT with Nokta BT Headphones or any low-latency Bluetooth® headphones.
Hi Chris, so your detector and this pinpointer are connected at the same time via Bluetooth. Do you turn the pinpointer off when not in use and if so does it reconnect automatically when you turn it on?
@ScrapMetalMike yes, I do shit it off when not in use. If you don't shut it off, then you will not have audio from the detector to the headphones. Once it's connected, it will automatically connect and disconnect as you power the pinpointer on and off.
An incredibly awesome and generous friend in the community gifted me one of these pinpointers!!! I'm excited! Who better than Wicked Digger to show me how it works? 👍
It's definitely worth it for the features and capabilities it has. Honestly, unless someone simply can only afford a $40 cheap Chinese pointer, it's pretty average priced. It's $139, the garret is $129, minelab is $139, XP MI6 is $159.
Awesome demonstration. That’s a great pin pointer.
Thank you!! Should be a good one, I can't wait to get it dirty 🤪 Wicked happy hunting!! ❤️ ✌️
Nice introduction video. Look forward to see a field review. Thx for sharing.
Thanks Steve!! Absolutely, I'm looking forward to it too 😆
Nice pin-pointer Chris glad it was sent to you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks so much, I am so exist to use it! Of course it's getting cold now 😆 but I try to dig all winter. Have a wonderful weekend ❤️ ✌️
I think this will be a good pointer, Chris! Thanks for the demonstration!❤
It definitely seems to be really good right away! You're welcome and thanks for swinging by Cynthia ❤️
Great look at all of the funtions.
Thank you very much!! 👊
I love the LCD screen and USB power 😎
Most definitely Liz! The screen is so nice! I do like how it's a USB c type charger, no batteries is so nice! ✌️ Wicked happy hunting #noktanomads
In the pin with the name Sphinx03, they came up with control through a program in the phone. Why did Nokta add an expensive detail- the screen.

Thanks Lisa!! ❤️ I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!!
This was a really well done, thorough and informative video buddy. Thank you! 👍
Thanks brother, I'm happy to help!
Looks good like it
👊 absolutely!! Wicked happy hunting!
Wicked cool! I love it!
Thanks Shane! 👊 It definitely seems great at first glance, can't wait to get it in the field!
@@wicked_digger I hear good things about it. But yes I can't wait to see it in action.
Great info Chris 👍
Thanks Mike! I hear you have the score machines? I didn't realize that, I'm going to go watch your video asap. They seem like fantastic machines!
@@wicked_digger that Double Score is a separation machine!
@@IffySignals that's awesome!
I like that thing! the color screen is huge. The pin pointer in the headphones is a sweet feature! Excellent review
It's pretty sweet! I can't wait to get it dirty! 🤣 Thanks brother! I'm off Tuesday!
Looks good😊
It is definitely a good pointer! I've been enjoying it a lot!
Awesome banana Chris! Looking forward to hearing how well it does out there! 😎🍌

Thats great! I like it a lot too, definitely the best pointer Nokta has made. Easy to use also! Thanks for swinging by, Wicked happy hunting! 👊
Looks like it is going to be a good pinpointer. Hope you get a few more Wicked digs in before the snow comes.. Happy Wicked detecting Brother.
Heck yeah it does brother! I sure hope so! I'm not ready for snow yet! 😫 Actually, I don't mind the snow much as long as the ground is soft and I can still dig 🤣 Wicked happy hunting 👊
Nice I got the older nokta pin pointer ⚓️👍🧲
Thats a good one too! I've been loving this new one though! 👊 Wicked happy hunting!!
Deus m16 all the way young man. Super great pinpointed.from sunny Cornwall uk 😮
Thanks for coming by, I appreciate it! I hear good things about that pointer also. Wicked happy hunting!
@@wicked_digger well I did found a Victoria gold sovereign from Melbourne mint 😀

Pretty cool pinpointer do you know if it compatible with a Mine-Lab detector.
I'm not positive but I do believe so. It's a standard Bluetooth.
I need this hahahaha! I don’t know how to work it
😆 awesome!! I'm glad it helped!!
Def like the iron beep to be different.
Absolutely! What a cool feature!

On Nokta's website it says the pointer runs at 20Khz. It does come with a frequency shift but that hasn't seemed to help much either. @@wicked_digger

Yes indeed! They are Bluetooth, instead of wireless, so they will connect with any device that is blue tooth capable! So nice!!

How much
$139 some places may have them slightly cheaper
They made it too expensive for me. I won't be taking a chance.
