Chris, if you want to keep the Bigfoot family alive then don't give any more info out than you already have. I say this with compassion for them and for you and your family. Someone may try and find them just to hunt and kill them. Not everyone is as compassionate and caring as a lot of us are. I truly hope they show up again soon and you get more interaction with them. God Bless you and your family and thank you for the wonderful story tonight. ❤

Chris, I've heard from numerous people, once they get your scent, they always have it and can find you anywhere, they were probably just exploring that area bcuz their range is huge and got a whif of your scent and said here's our old friend and brought your backpack back to you. Just bcuz you haven't seen them doesn't mean they are not watching you since that seems to be their favorite pastime is watching ppl. I think they are there & you will see them again. I believe every word and I'm sure everyone else on this channel does too cuz Nance has the best Squad. Thx so much, can't wait to hear more.

I believe everything that you said because I’ve had something similar happen to me. Camping in South Dakota in the black hills. I was 7 yrs old and loved camping. I hung up raw bacon in the trees right before bedtime. My parents didn’t know that I done this. I always loved to stay up late and peek out my little window in our trailer waiting for the animals to come for the food if left. No animals came for the bacon. No regular animals that is. Shortening story. I got to see up close and personal a mama Bigfoot with a baby clutched to her side. It was a scary experience at first but then she reassured me via mind talk that she wouldn’t hurt me. There’s alot more to the story. A lot !!!!!

Hey Chris, great story. It is told that they sense camera set ups. Don't put up cameras if you want to continue that relationship with them. I would hear what sounded like people talking to each other and could never make out a single word of it, and whistling, a tune I never heard before, soft, sharp whistling on the other side of my privacy fence. Always late at night on cold nights. This would happen only when my husband was out of town. I would stay up late at night and always felt like I was being watched. Many strange occurrences so my husband put up cameras for my safety and it all stopped. They sense the cameras. So there you have it.

I go tent camping, up in the highlands with them every summer… a grizzly bear got a little too close to my camp one night, I found him the next day, he had his spine ripped out, the big alpha stepped on his head, and ripped his spine out….there’s ten of them, big alpha is all of 14 feet tall, bout a hundred pounds per foot….feet ain’t big, they are huge, almost 24 in long I refer to them as the mountain giants… they love apples and garlic, this I do know they don’t like the name Bigfoot, they don’t mind Sasquatch, what some of the Indian nations called them…… be safe….

As most alpha predators go, I believe
they have the capability of scent
    recognition. Meaning that once they
get a good scent pattern it gets imprinted
in their brain. And if they ever come
across that peticular scent again, they
automatically recognize it. One hell of
an ability to say the least.

@Justus martinez I agree with others in you shouldn't set up cameras. I truly believe it would frighten them off and cause them to loose the trust they extended to you.
Also, I'm very concerned about how the moonshine went over. That probably wasn't a good move. Think about all the problems alcohol causes us humans; fights, drunk driving, auto accidents, and a plethora of other bad things. I am hoping and praying God works it for the good of all, cause it certainly could cause irreversible damages jus like it does for us. Look at the damage "fire water" caused Native Americans, heck, any and every body who has ever consumed it. I would offer edibles over alcohol any day. I've never known of anybody consuming marijuana them going looking for a fight, alcohol, on the other hand, I've seen men bust up their knuckles hitting a tree thinking it was a person. Please, please, don't give them anymore moonshine, it could have serious repercussions and deadly consequences.
Sorry, but I had to say how I feel. Having turned 65 on the 12 of this month, I pray you listen to someone who's seen the damage and the ruined lives way too many times.

Also, if you want them to keep coming, I would not put-up trail cams. 24-hour surveillance cams? I don't know. If you want them to come back, DON'T put up cameras. For one, you don't need the proof, you know what happened and luckily you have a couple people who experienced it with you... And as cool as it would be for everyone to see, it's selfish of us to do so. They want to keep their privacy and for the safety of their species, it's a matter of survival for them to keep their contact with civilization to an absolute minimum. Just the fact that they trusted you enough to show themselves and interact with you is incredibly rare and special. You should treat that with the utmost care and respect. You could completely ruin everything you've established and destroy your trust with them forever. Also, I've heard their ability to avoid cameras is the same reason WHY they avoid them. It's said, they are highly sensitive to, or can actually see, in infered and their sensitivity to it can mess with their senses. So, not only could it ruin your relationship with them but could totally be counterproductive and keep them from coming back at all.
As for finding you, it's a well known theory that they are great trackers and once they have your scent, they remember it forever. Much like other animals identify each other or people by sent, as opposed to sight... It doesn't matter where you are because they don't equate you to your location but rather by your scent alone. I don't think they intentionally tracked you down to return your belongings, especially given the long length of time between encounters. I believe, it's much more likely they picked up on your scent when they were passing through the area, given their wide range and nomadic lifestyles (possibly migratory).
Hope this helped and I wish you luck in building your connection with this magnificent species! 👣💚🌲

Knowing 100% that bigfoot is real, I have a couple of scenarios I think about from time to time that I wish would come true. #1 I befriend a bigfoot family and eventually throw a big backyard BBQ big foot party for all my bigfoot guests. We've got some cornhole games going, some music, and I've even got a few of the Bigfoot children cranking on a few homemade ice cream makers! Oh, they're gonna love this I'm thinking! I'm also trying to figure out how to tell or warn them about brain freeze! Lol... Before my new friends leave I give one of the children a digital word-learning game of my sons. That way when they return their child can translate!

Wow what an amazing story! I hope everything told is true, I really do! How wonderful would it be to be able to communicate with a Big Foot! This gentleman had shown the Big Foot his family and he likely felt that he wanted to show his family as well. To me that is a sign of friendship and a willingness to communicate and possibly even become "friends." That to me is priceless! Unfortunately there are many people who want to just go for a kill rather than communicate so be careful who you tell or do not give your location. Thank you for sharing your story and although they may have moved on, try to continue to befriend them. What a blessing!!

There are several animals that have this extreme tracking ability wolves, Bears & elephants there's several large cats also that have this ability that once they get a sent they never forget it. But bigfoot is not just an animal 🙏🏼They have abilitys to travel great distances we don't even know what kind of migration they have an obviously extreme intelligence so not surprised 🙏🏼 Fabulous story 🤗

What a great encounter!! Chris sounds like a fun guy giving them the shine! I would love to see that. If the first encounter was 16 miles from where you live now, that’s not far for “animals” that migrate. I heard a story about a pack of wolves that would travel from Washington state, through Oregon, into central California. They didn’t stay permanently, but would roam that far south. I think if Sasquatch has your scent, 16 miles isn’t that far when they’re always roaming/migrating.
    Edit for clarity.

Hello Chris& Nance. Technically it's called ''hitchhiker effect. Mainstream scientists found out on the Skinwalker ranch that when the scientists went home after a day monitoring the paranormal, the weirdness followed them home. I believe they can look into the Astral plane to find you, but Robert Bigalow, who is worth $700 million, bought the place& brought in scientists to study them. Bigalow himself had weird things happening at home.

I’ve also heard they can be difficult to catch on camera and put out their frequency to not be seen on devices, good luck and stay safe!

Chris, I think you might have been "Tagged" by the bigfoot years ago. They possess special abilities and they also have a collective knowledge of those who are tagged. This includes any one of them knowing who you are and knowing your location. I too had 3 encounters with the Forest people, or Sabe people. The Elder one I encountered knew my exact thoughts and mind-spoke to me to relieve my fear. Absolutely amazing! I agree with another commentor that we should protect the Sabe who are kind to us by not sharing exact location info on line, as there are people who want to kill these creatures. There is another channel called "The facts by how to hunt". The bigger issues behind this topic are discussed in detail there. Many First Nations accounts of these people go way back in their history. And they are very cautious of these beings. I've also heard that giving gifts is better than food as they could become dependent and could get violent if food is not given regularly. And they are like us in that some are good and some are evil, so caution is important in general. At least to not assume all of them are kind. It's my understanding that they can know our intentions. God bless you.

That's a concerning story as I live only a few miles away through the woods. I'm on raw land. I always feel watched so I got a German Shepherd. I keep wondering when some huge fuzzy critter will start messing with me. Oddly, I've been getting the feeling that my Shepherd is outside playing with them.
I'd like to talk with Chris and his wife. I'm hoping I can learn a little more before having one of these things jump out of the woods right in front of me. I had an experience with a triangle craft in 2010, and not sure if seeing a bigfoot will complete a bucket list, but I'd like to know what I'm dealing with.

And thank you for not being violent towards them. When you had the encounter at 16 yrs old maybe there was a young one around or you interrupted their hunt. Best, from Colorado!

I live in the Caribbean, so there is nothing like those creatures here. But since I saw that Patterson Gimlin film on TV when I was a kid, I've been interested in anything sasquatch.
I don't know if I believe the stories are true or not, but I do believe there's always the possibility. Everyday new species are discovered all around the world. It's fascinating. I have been to the US on many occasions, but never to the big forests. So I have no concept of how huge an expanse of land they must be. Only from what I see on TV. But there's no doubt in my mind that if there's a place that could maintain such big creatures, that place surely be the vast American forests. And I mean America as the whole continent from Tierra del Fuego to the north pole. These creatures could be all over the place and never get noticed. Like I said... I'm from the Caribbean. We don't have anything like your forests here and your big fauna for that matter so I can only listen and read your stories and wonder. This is my favorite channel. Thanks for sharing.
