Aruba is an island in the Southern Caribbean, and very close to Venezuela.
It is our first time in Aruba, we rented a buggy to drive by ourselves and explore the island.

It seems important in such a long cruise to get away! My husband and I are planning our first cruise ever to Alaska this summer. We are only doing tours 🫣 but two of them are very small, ocean Kayaking and 🤞 as long as the weather is good an extended treck on a glacier. I am so excited to follow your journey!

We love Aruba. High in the outback country there’s an area of caves. They’re fascinating with graffiti and names from the time when pirates landed there hundreds of years ago. A great place to explore on your own. Really enjoying your videos.

I am from Valparaiso, Chile and I noticed you are coming here on Jannuary 23rd. It will be my pleasure to show you the World Heritage Site área of Valparaiso or take you to the wine producing valley of Casablanca. I am a former crewmember that finished my 18 years career after an accidente on Crystal Serenity during her drydock in Hamburg back in 2011 with a result of permanent disability.

Ah could do with some of the blue sky, sea and sand here in England right now! Looks beautiful away from the town - up by the lighthouse was the best IMO. Good to get out by youselves but you need to be very sure to be back at the ship before it goes - they hold for booked excursions, not for solo adventurers! A friend of mine got caught out missing a ship in Barcelona - it was an expensive and difficult process to get back to the ship with no passports after it had gone to another country...look forward to the next one!
We can imagine how some blue sky, sea, and sand would be a welcome sight in England right now! It's true, the area around the lighthouse offered some of the most stunning views, and we're glad you enjoyed seeing that part of our journey.
Hi you guys, Tampa here. Yep, ARUBA must have had a local holiday or something, being most shops are closed. Never understood that, since a ship is docked, you would think they would be open....NOT. Saved some money. Loved your transport around the island. My first visit, I was with my mom, and she wanted the casino, didn't win, but she had fun. Second time I rented a SUV for the four of us, and like you, spent a couple of hours touring the island, had some lunch and ended up at Baby Beach, just beautiful. My last trip, I hopped a local but and went to Hotel row on Palm Beach. Too busy for me, but I still had a good time. I always find something to do when traveling by myself. I do agree with you in that I don't do bus tours, to many people and just takes too long for everyone to get on/off. Not for me. Thanks for the video, and it was nice to see the island again. Can't wait to go to Curacao, and again, see your video and we can compare notes again. Remember, Stay safe...sail safe !

Sure! For our 9-month trip, we paid what most people would typically pay for a 3-month cruise. Plus, Royal Caribbean gave us a lot of perks
