@dianealarcon8304 How she was questioned has nothing to do with whether or not she could feel emotion. Nothing she said sounded like she cared at all that her mom died and two murdered children were buried in her father's back yard. She sounded cold and calculating. She painted her mother in a very negative light and painted her father as a saint, even though she knows he was cheating on her mother. He introduced her to his mistress days after her mother's death -- at her mother's house. Two weeks later he was dancing it up in Hawaii with that mistress, now wife. She's defending him. Now she is living at that house (where her mother died and his mistresses' children were buried) with her own children. That's pretty cold.

@@carolynwright3026 Sorry, but most people would not go along with this to this extent. If you listen to her testimony, that''s somebody who thinks the killer of her mother and two children (and probably others) should walk free. Why? Because it's HER father? I'm pretty sure every time Emma heard about a child killer being tried for their crimes, she didn't think they should let him be free because he's such a wonderful patriarch.. I'm not saying that's what you're saying either, it's just her testimony sent me over the bend; sitting there criticizing her mother for cheating on her fitbit or going to bed early? I'm still not over it. I can't imagine my kids colluding with the likes of Prior to make sure and anything I can think of so the jury doesn't feel sympathy for. It's unbelievable. You don't know anything about what any of the people concerned feel about anything. Instead of setting yourselves up as judge and jury why don't you just let the law take its course and be thankful that you have a healthy family life, though going by the irrational and malignant suppositions being poured out against people who are not charged with any crime makes one wonder what kind of role models you are for your own children.

People can be understanding that they're not responsible for the behaviour of other family members, but when you support that family member to the degree they are, then people are obviously going to be concerned. I wanna throw a theory out there regarding why Chad felt it important to tell Emma to move the mattress (whilst Chad was sitting in the back of the police vehicle). That mattress might have been a murder weapon - after listening to defense's witness who said more than one person is needed to squash a person to death, what if Chad and Alex both sat on the mattress with Tammy underneath it? This method of murder would leave no visible/obvious marks on her body. And it might explain why moving the Mattress bothered Chad when he realized he 'wasn't coming home' when his yard was being dug up by authorities.

I think it’s important to realize how many levels this has impacted the families. It’s important for Dawson to do what he can do to start healing himself. I cannot even begin to fathom what they have been through.

Lauren, I'm not sure if I have ever commented before, even though I have been a Gem since day one, when you and Dr. John were sitting at your kitchen table.
You are such a wonderful person. Your empathy as well as your trustworthiness ALWAYS shines through.
And this is why I have seen your channel grow and grow and why people who have never spoken before trust you enough to sit down and speak with you.
Thank you so much for all you and Dr. John do!

I don’t think it’s inappropriate to ask about missing or murdered children at church. In fact, that’s a good place to ask.

The peer pressure and shame that comes with that kind of confrontation in a normally safe space might be a good way to get Emma to Joe to have compassion for JJ and Tylee. When endangered kids are missing, extreme measures are necessary.

Yea, they should have been more extreme and actually asked them every single day.
Church seems to be a place where child murderers and abusers go to hide. Let’s not let it be a safe space for criminals. Let it be a safe place for children.

If Chad just got caught up in it then why is he sending money to Lori in prison and why is Emma helping and talking with Lori. I’d hate the woman that set up my dad! Lies. They are all crazy mean people. Evil. Pure evil

@@michelleberrocal9090after Emma’s testimony it started me thinking that as soon as Chad told her “I’m not coming back” Emma began taking on the mindset “hmmm, dad was Christ’s chosen one so if in this world dad is going to prison, or maybe executed, maybe I should be the one to step in his place and let Jesus anoint ME as the chosen one to lead the 142k”. I see Emma as using all this to create her own cult and she as its leader.

I'm the opposite of most people. I thought she was complicit long ago and didn't have much sympathy for her. After her testimony I did have some sympathy, she is so screwed up. Her parents failed her. They raised her to believe Chad was on some sort of pedestal. She has no sense of self. Without her dad, she is nothing. She will do whatever she says. It reminds me of Stockholm Syndrome.
