Thanks for the video and the memories that it brought back. The 80's did actually have some great bands. There were a lot of talented guitarists that got overshadowed by the hair and later 80's bands that weren't as talented. Thanks again for the videos. Maybe some day I'll dust off my guitars and give them a try.
mike you are the only person i've heard play that little scale riff on back in black that sounds like ac/dc does it.most people play it and don't sound right
hey mike. big repect fom Scotland uk!!! u have helped my band so much with working out riffs for our songs. our own stuff and covers. u have even helped us get tighter. ur the no1 teacher we use when rehearsing. I'm not sucking up to ur arse but the stuff u put on u-tube is so user friendly. could u please do anything at all by machine head, or suicide silience. thanx a million mike. stewie lilley
Hey Mike! Your videos have really helped me out and I appreciate what you do! I wanted to see if you may be able to do a lesson for "Dirty Little Mind" by Jackyl. There aren't any lessons on it and I would really like to learn it. Thanks brother!
Hey Mike I’m stuck soloing in the same minor pentatonic scale position. I feel like I usually only solo and play licks in the first minor pentatonic scale position. Any tips or videos on how to break out of that position and solo more around the neck? Thanks man!
add the "Blues Box" to the 1st position, also start scale from the root note starting on the 5th string instead of 6th string... ruclips.net/video/0Dh8aGffCaI/видео.html

DeMartini stuff is all difficult especially his solo's . DeGarmo was as Innovating at the time as Warren DeMartini or Lynch. But in a Prog Metal performance space . I share the same Birth Date as Chris DeGarmo June 14th 65 was my Birth year not sure if DeGarmo is older or a bit younger ? Miss his Guitar Genius and wish he would do something musical . Lynch is my GURU the player that really made me wanna learn to play ...
Is it my age-addled ears or did the Iron Maiden intro sound a bit Ryche'ish? Maybe Eyes of a Stranger? Someone should do a 4 chords of metal, like those guys did with every pop song.
