@epacm50 I am originally from WA. ST. We get some snow but nothing too bad. Then I lived in Iowa for 4 years. Winters were miserable. Snows the freezes. Stays cold, then snows again and freezes. Repeat repeat. You have to shovel snow after each snow before it freezes, or your car will get frozen snow/ iced in. It is miserably cold while you are shoveling. I hated it.
I have loved the 4 winters I have been here in VA with no snow.
I want a Dec ‘82 St. Louis MO type blizzard while at deer camp this year. I don’t want to be able to go back to work for 3 weeks. I was born when there was 2 feet of snow in downtown and my dad was stuck in the north side of the city.
Hell yeah we love snow if it was colder this would be a good snow!!Rain is good for now tho just if it wouldn’t quit so much!!
It was so humid in northern NJ today and it looked like it was going to rain, but it never did.

I'm in Newport News, VA and today I think we had the most rain and thunder so far this year. I feel bad for the folks that get flooded but I love a good storm.

I live in Gloucester Co. near Gloucester Court House area. Sure, we get some rain and storming, but it never seems to be as bad here as predicted. I watch the Doppler radar thing off and on during the day and it seems that for the most part, the storms split and go above or below this area. Like there is some sort of shield directing the storms around us. LOL.
Same here in Cumberland, I can’t tell you how many storms I’ve watched break apart and give up 0 rain this summer
@johnslaney8054 I spoke too soon. I'm having a heck of a storm of lightning and thunder and some rain now. Started just after midnight, I believe. Stayed up with my blinds open to watch it.
I’m in Knoxville and the worst we have had is cloudy and humid and maybe 5-10 minutes of drizzling.
Same here in SW Virginia
I love deer hunting when it’s snowing and snow on the ground each morning you can see the fresh tracks all over the ground and it makes blood trailing, much easier

The weather people here in Western North Carolina said that they are going to have weather warn days for the next 3 days they said we might get more than 5 to 8 inches of rain some areas might get more than 10+ inches of rain.

In my area though, (in the city of Vaughan) the ingredients for a tornado are not present, though there could be some isolated storms in my area.
