Love the house and the hosts. They were beyond hospitable toward me when I visited. Our little group of about five encouraged one of the owners to play the piano for us when it was being shown during the tour. He was reluctant, but after a bit of encouragement, he played a song for us, which was so beautiful. I told them they should include this while showing the piano, or maybe even have a mini-concert played in their home. (The owner of another house put on a mini-concert prior to giving the tour of his home.) I’m sure the guests would love to hear these beautiful songs played by a wonderful pianist. Glad to see they are open again for Pilgrimage, and encourage everyone to visit. Be sure to ask the host to show you his “high school senior portrait.” The collections in the house are also exquisite; I love the wallpaper in the dining room. Thanks to all for sharing the video.
Wow! Looks like a bejeweled dollhouse…just stunning! My focus is usually on the architecture but these gentlemen have cultivated such a beautiful collection of antiques. Perfectly compliments the home.
My goodness, is it possible for a Home to be more beautiful than this? I am in absolute Love with the architectural style. The dormer windows at the top of the House, the wrought-iron gate, the elegant water fountain ⛲️ and the plethora of Antiques make my heart sing. Those darling dogs 🐕 were lovely to see, as well. 🖤
@MayaHendsenmayajs19442 I did not need to see this in its entirety to make my comment. How absurd. This video displays a FULL aerial view of the property as well as close-ups of the exterior architectural style, the gate, the fountains, as well as the dogs without one seeing the entirety of the video. As a lover of Antiques, one can see that there are indeed a plethora of them from the moment the camera enters the property. Find another soapbox to stand upon with your holier than thou need to call complete and utter strangers Liars.
@MayaHendsenmayajs19442 No. You could "easily tell" the veracity of the statements in my response to you. Instead of leaning into humility or decency, you double down on the intensity of your own needless rage by resorting to gaslighting. How profound and gifted you are, possessing the capacity to assess my character. Next time, continue scrolling. Doing so is fairly simple. Yet, many do not possess the maturity such simplicity requires.
Wow, what a treasure! The importance of good furniture can’t be overstated. These guys really get it. Well done, gents, and THANK YOU for opening up your home!
I toured this home last year. There is a grand piano, in the parlor, at the left of the front door. I asked permission to play that piano, after the other tourists went onto another room. And I did play. The tone was so soothing and sweet...e
Thanks, Laine and Kevin for sharing this amazing video. I saw lots of lovely things, especially loved the glass! I even recognized some of it. And the two gentlemen did a wonderful job of telling and sharing. I am now sharing it on my Facebook with fellow collectors. I am going back to watch it again. Judy P.
Stunning collection, it's uncommon to see a house where the owners get a true sense of Victorian decor but this one nails it. I could spend hours just looking at the collections. The carving on the rococo revival furniture is amazing.
Wonderful hosts and a beautiful home. What an amazing collection of art and furnishings. It is so nice having music in the home. Thank you so much for sharing.
Spotted the most excellent videographer - Hey, Kevin! Such grand furniture & furnishings. ❤ Beautiful tones from the piano. Was thinking, "Oh, i hope he plays for us." Thank you for the informative tour of your gorgeous home.
Thank you for such an enjoyable tour of your lovely home. The collections are amazing. I love collecting and the Victorian era. Your home looks so inviting.
This is a wonderful video! Your house is absolutely beautiful and the tour was very informative. It was also a pleasure to hear the the live piano music. Thank you!
Wow that clock was so cool! We love old clocks too but that one takes the cake. Also, correction sir your addiction isn't to just furniture, it's to all things old and historic! You have great taste in your treasures, they're gorgeous! And I'm jealous 😅
We have walked around this house several times. We always stay across the street at the Natchez Pearl Airbnb. Their dogs have greeted us at the fence many times.
Charming hosts. It really is hard to say no to 'just one more chair or little table'. I laughed when he said they are rumored to have more chairs than the local church.
Captain Leather’s boat The Natchez ran from New Orleans to Natchez and back again. His New Orleans house still stands as well- a lavish two story center hall masonry and stucco Italianate pile dripping in ironwork just outside the Lower Garden District.
It must have been amazing to find all these things over the years. So much beauty - I think my favorite was the swinging Cupid clock as well 😊 I've seen one like it, but it had a girl on the swing 😊 I collect several things myself, so I appreciate their efforts - however, I don't mind saying, that they could remove 20% of the contents, and there would probably still be more seats, than in the church 😂
How does the cat not knock everything off the shelves?! I love Cats, but I was thinking “This place isn’t very Cat friendly” and then I saw the kitty! 😂
Uh oh, friend 😞 That is an inside thought that we keep to ourselves, not share with strangers! Next time, THINK! T - Is it thoughtful? H - Is it helpful? I - Is it inspiring? N - Is it NECESSARY? K - is it kind? Let's make a better choice next time, friend.

Natchez is an amazing place.
Those gorgeous azaleas at the front of this house, true southern garden right there, love it💚💚💚🌸🌸
Such beautifully authentic Victorian interiors. I do send my condolences to whoever the housekeeper is.
Wow Beautiful house. Love the piano playing too. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful, inside and out.

Fantastic! Greetings from Alicante (Spain)!
Incredible!
Thank you, Laine and Kevin.
I love this house
Beautiful
It would be worth the cost of the tour just to hear “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring” played on that amazing piano 😊

Beautiful furniture and videoography.
Do you still have the chest your grandma gave you as a child ?
Great video.
I have one poor man’s marble bird on a trunk. I have very few white things, although I have 2 sets of china that are white. Your home is wonderful!
Dog is a great greeter.
Question: back in 1850 did they really live with all that stuff in each room?
100% did
❤❤❤❤❤
How does the cat not knock everything off the shelves?! I love Cats, but I was thinking “This place isn’t very Cat friendly” and then I saw the kitty! 😂
That’s a good question.
Beautiful home & furnishings but the music irritated me no end. Like a funeral home video!
