- Why did Israel provoke a dangerous confrontation with Iran?
Middle East Eye’s editor in chief David Hearst tells @el.sayyed it was the distraction Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu needed to quiet the dissenting voices in Israel, and distract from the mass famine unfolding in Gaza and the international condemnation of his war.

Clear enough even to dumb or deaf or blind people 😢
This is obviously what Netanyahu is doing. Let's hope Iran takes the high road and not play into Netanyahu's game.
Master stroke by Iran
About 30% of Israelis want to leave Israel for USA mostly.
About half a million already left since October 7th.
Good go home, problem solved
Returning to their true homeland
They probably don’t like getting constantly attacked by medieval religious fanatics who can’t dress themselves
@@Panzerfaustchenobvious Hasbara shill is obvious.
@@DaSkonk hasbara is the word thick Islamists use when you say something they don’t like. It’s used the same way black people call you racist when you say George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose
Thank you David Hearst for speaking the absolute truth. Netanyahu knew Israel’s attack on the WCK humanitarian aid workers was the straw that broke the ‘allies’ back and that it was the catalyst for the attack on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus; timed to engender deflection amidst the politicians and in the western media. The gamble paid off, as Iran retaliated, garnering renewed sympathy for the Israeli regime.
Now Netanyahu’s ‘roll of the dice’ has given him the green light for the escalation he desperately craves: to prolong his time in office & to go after Iran’s nuclear program, which he wants to destroy.
It is absolutely baffling why Western politicians are playing into Israel’s hands and why the media aren’t challenging the political ‘allies’ of Israel on Netanyahu’s double-edged sword of deflection & provocation.
- 450 Palestinian villages were destroyed by the Colonialist Zio’nists to setup Isriael, 70 years ago.
- For last 70 years the criminal settlers kept pushing Palestinian people out till half of them left and the remaining half were pushed into congested areas like Gaza.
- Hundreds of civilians killed by Isriael every year.
- 30 children killed by Isriael in 2022.
- 200 civilians killed by Isriael in 2023, before the current conflict.
What should Israel be called as?
2 million Palestinians live in Israel were they earn good money. They’re the intelligent ones. 2 million Palestinians live in Gaza where their dumb terrorist leaders get them killed and steal their aid money. They’re the not intelligent ones
Absolutely true.
YEP!!!
It is important Netanyahu is eased out of his controlling position before he is brutally forced out.
I have a feeling that people like David Hearst had done more for Netanyahu and Israel than they could themselves
Blessed Palestine, blessed forever. PALESTINE the Land of our Palestinian brothers and sisters. From Spain LOVE all of you 🕊️🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🕊️
The split between the US and Israel is just a show for us simpletons
"so he sparked the war with Iran" no, the war with Iran is a strategic matter. first Iraq, then Iran. Israel has been speaking about it constantly, and kept trying to orgaize coalition to attack Iran. Anyone who more or less follows the events must know it.
He had his back to the wall. Like when facing a firing squad? Who wouldn't shoot?
How many talking heads are these Islam funded channels going to put up to deny that losing 99% of your attack is anything but an utter disaster
