Does your partner share your love of books I wonder? Its a shame as mine doesn't, I wish he did as we could have a lot more interests, topics and conversations. I know for the most part reading is a solo interest, but still sharing the love of books and reading is such a nice thing. It truly is a lot to get through whilst life is still going on! It was much easier on my days off from work but even then I didn't have a completely 'free' day having to do bits around the house etc. My partner somewhat shares my love of reading, he adores manga specifically and more non-fiction books then i tend to gravitate towards so it's quite nice to have a shared interest but that is still slightly different! I completely understand what you mean around that meaning a lot more interest, topics & conversations to be shared. Oh yes - a few months ago now I tried to do a challenge in which I read 100 pages everyday for a week, I really enjoyed that too. I've had Till Death Do Us Bard on my list mostly because I thought the book title was so cute. Hearing that you enjoyed it confirmed that I want to read it 🥰
I thought exactly the same in which is why I picked it up! Definitely not anything new but it was such a cosy, lovely somewhat low stakes time that was an easy read that I couldn't help not enjoy it! 🧸✨
