Hello I’ve been an artist for over 30 years. I have my own business as well and I just want to congratulate you on your endeavors and especially for your honesty. I absolutely love every piece of furniture you’ve done. Thank you for sharing your artistic knowledge and the other side of business with all of us. Oh and I love your tattoos and your personality, ignore those ignorant comments.
Hear! Hear! Angie, you have so much to offer to those that are willing to watch and listen, to even be bothered by the whiners. I personally can't stand when people put paint on good wood. But of the dozen or so projects I've seen you do start to finish, I have zero complaints about your decisions. And even if I did have a complaint, I'd keep it to myself. What you do with your property is up to you. I'm just glad you are sharing your knowledge and talent.
Angie, are so generous with your knowledge and definitely my favorite mentor for refinishing furniture! Keep up the good work, you are very inspiring to many!
Angie, great job! You’re nor camera shy any more. You have a sweet, kind and honest soul. Your work is beautiful and professional, and I’m sure your tips were helpful to many.
Social media doesnt always bring out the best in people... Anyway, this is absolutely a well thought out, captivating, and very well articulated video.
I have loved every piece of furniture you have repaired, refinished, and given a new life. As a side note, I am fascinated by the intricacy of your tattoos. I have been known to pause the video a few times to see them in more detail. lol
You’re a great teacher - knowledgeable, sweet, kind - and an artist! I really appreciate your work. It has inspired and helped me a lot. Keep up the great work.
I so very much love your rant about painting and refinishing antiques. "Things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them." All day long... Lovely video! All great advice.
I appreciate you take on difficult pieces with little margin (such as the smoke dresser) and show us on RUclips. It was a beautiful flip and very useful to the hobbyists that may e.g. inherit or just unknowingly pick up a piece. Hopefully RUclips will (eventually) give you profit on pieces like that.
I think that you have a lot to offer the public that is into flipping furniture. I think it's awesome you began this channel! I am a handyman and flip furniture too. Ever since I was a young kid I have loved taking ugly things and making them beautiful! (I call it the Cinderella effect) lol. Anyway the hell with the bullies, low-lifes and onward and upward. You have my full support, I'm a fan! Thx!
I have learned more from your channel in two days, than from any of the hundreds I have watched on RUclips. Thank you so much for your realistic videos!
Thank you so much for your honesty. I've just started restoring furniture and have thought about selling some. Not only have you been a wealth a information but I've grown fond of your style of restoration. I completely agree that furniture restoration/refinishing is subjective. If you like the piece, purchase it. If you don't, move along. Keep up the great work. 😁
Hi, I've watched your videos from the beginning and love to see how your confidence has grown I'm in the UK and after watching your videos I'm considering this as a side hustle Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge 😊
You are SO delightful! "SNAAACKS!!" I love it, thank you for putting this together! Looking forward to the next. My own note with the "not worth it even if it's free" pieces; the value you get from just practicing techniques on these POS freebies is so valuable! Pick up that broken side table and practice repairing wood splits, patching veneer, refitting a missing drawer into a shelf or whatever. Learning is fun!
This video is really spot-on. I truly appreciate your honesty and transparency. My daughter and I started refinishing furniture about 4 months ago and found that almost every piece has presented a new challenge (or 2 or 3) for us to solve. It looks so much easier on RUclips than it is in real life!!!!! Whining just a little here... but we are HOOKED!!!!! We are learning lots and loving (almost) every minute. Thank you for all the tips!!!
The furniture that you do is so amazing and you do put tons of time in it. You put heart and soul in it because it turns out so beautiful. People that have opinions are just that, opinions!!! They have absolutely no clue the work and money that goes into each piece.
Can't begin to tell you how helpful it is to hear this entire list! Already looking forward to part 2. I'm a long-time furniture refinisher but finally in a place where I can start a real business doing this. So much to balance. Thanks for the honesty and detail!
This is perfect timing. I have 3 pieces completed and FINALLY got the courage to post one last night. This video (and the next one) is going to become one of my most watched.
I subscribed a few weeks ago. I enjoy watching and have no intention of taking on flipping as a hobby or business. I like seeing your work and your choices. Your voice is pleasant, your descriptions concise and your editing is on point. My only frustration is not seeing your tattoos enough! I want to see and admire your ink. I'm sorry anyone gives you flack for any of your choices, furniture, paint or tattoos...rude people need to shut up.
PRO TIP, one way to justify your prices is to ASK your customer, " how long would it take you to do this job? " it makes them think about the time and effort.
Our family owns a manufacturing business that we’ve built over 35 years, and everything you talked about in this video applies to any small business! YOU ARE SPOT ON! Also, I love your ability to educate with kindness and humor. Your voice is so soothing to listen to. (Okay, that’s just a creepy comment from me, but it’s true!) Best wishes to you!
:) I used to be a wood-purist before, and hated on all the painted furniture (although I would never say anything to the creators, I'd just stop watching their videos). Thanks to you I just realized that the furniture could be painted and still be very stylish! It's too bad that I live in Sweden, otherwise I would've loved to buy a bunch of your pieces for my home.
I’ve been binge watching your videos and I’ve learnt a great deal and recognize some of my own mistakes in furniture refinishing. The knowledge and experience you share is outstanding. You’ve obviously done your homework and have no problem thinking outside the box and willing to try new things. Unfortunate those who aren’t willing to do the same will quickly judge others who do. “Time Period” pieces that people are in love with, it’s a “romantic love” and are blinded by this perception and not really seeing the furniture as it is. (Too much Hollywood movies influences). Omg, people judging your tattoos have come to the wrong RUclips channel. If they can’t see beyond your tattoos and your creative talent. Definitely not happy people, no matter what’s in front of them, constantly looking for faults. Keep on what you’re doing. This channel has been my go to for knowledge and inspiration💝🌟 Thank you for being so humble and being YOU😍🙏
You have very quickly become my favorite channel! It’s motivated me to start refinishing some pieces, mostly for my home, I’m definitely not ready to even think about selling. Also, you have really kind eyes…is that weird? Yeah, that’s weird. Anyway, thanks for making these incredible videos!
You're a trip! Down to earth and very sensible. I truly appreciate you taking the time to put this together. Have learned alot from you! I plan to retire soon and having worked on furniture over the past 30 years (refinishing and reupholstering) want to do that kind of work again (instead of staring at a computer all day (over it!). Believe the hard work will keep me busy and in shape (type A here)! Thank you again. You're a gem.
U have Ur place in the world of furniture. No explanations needed. To me Ur a furniture artist/restorer/artist. Lots of us appreciate Ur anesthetic . Stand proud . Love most of Ur work!!
Found your channel a month ago... have watched almost all of them...I am compelled to say...you are REMARKABLE...not only with you talent/gift...but your philosophy, expertise, intelligence, demeanor, humility, dedication and work ethic!!! Started watching different RUclips channels because I've recently had the itch to get back into redoing/refinishing myself of late...as you know there are lots of channels out there...yours quickly became my ⭐ not only because of the quality of your work, but much more...from your production quality, personality, philosophy, educational value, the list goes on and on...but mostly (and especially after this particular video) just you!!! I hope your parents are as proud of you!!! Keep doing what your doing...you are an awesome example to young girls/women everywhere to NEVER let anyone in any circumstance, make you feel bad for what you do and who you are, and what you believe in. Thank you so much for inspiring me... Looking forward to your next video.
2 years ago and you are still making a positive impact on people's lives and learning. Please keep doing you. Hold your head up and look past the idiots. All of us will only learn what we are open to receive. I'm sending you a big hug and thank you for the hours and hours of work, your willingness to share, your art, your creativity and thoughtfulness. You also are willing to show what you consider to be mistakes and how you would change or correct what you have done. That takes great courage and selflessness. You are appreciated greatly! Thank you! All the best to you, always!
Thank you for your insights. I’ve been refinishing furniture for years (strictly for myself)!and have been thinking about turning it into a business. My biggest concern is dealing with the buyers, such as payment, and a safe place for transaction. I live near a major metropolitan city, but closer to the “bad side of town”, so I’m not willing to make deliveries and don’t want strangers coming to my home. It’s still something that I’m researching.
Thanks Angie for sharing such valuable information for free. I found letters "B" and "C" were the most useful & practical business advice for furniture restorers who want to make a living at this. For hobbyists, topics "G" "J" and "K" taken together will keep them grounded in reality, i.e., just b/c you have a bucket of DB paint, a Zibra brush and a Ryobi Table Saw doesn't mean you can render a piece of furniture that anybody else would ever want to own - it takes a lot of practice, and as you have shown us, some fair amount of talent! From a business perspective I'm sure you must have considered other options to monetize this transfer of business knowledge. Regardless, I'm going to buy you a cup of tea (you're my first ever recipient!)
Thank you again, for all your hard work and advice. I totally get the friends asking you to do a peice of furniture for them and when you tell them a price they look shocked and discussed that you would charge them that for a little childs desk. I had to go step by step and explain to her I would do it but I needed payment first. She was wanting to only pay 50.00 I said that doesn't even cover 2hours work little the product to paint the piece and fix the little desk. She didn't even clean the desk to start with but I totally get the friends wanting things done for nothing it pisses me right off and I'm just starting out too I'm not totally new at it but for making money at it I am. I've taken on learning how to re upholstered French provincial chairs it's not fun let me just say tying springs the stripping the piece was easy putting it back together well I'm learning like you say was it worth doing? But im learning something new and I too only have the basics in the tools I would love to have the Surfprep sander too but its not in the budget. Keep up the great job at least you can talk in front of the camera 📷 👏
Thank you for sharing what you have learned over the years! I love watching your videos. I have refinished and painted furniture for family or myself for several years. I’ve recently retired and thought about doing this part time and this was very helpful. You are very talented. I’m so sorry to hear about the hateful comments and the negativity of some people. Keep doing what you are doing. Looking forward to your next video!
Your hard-earned wisdom took the gloss off my enthusiasm for making furniture flipping a real business but it was important to hear. I think just doing it as a hobby is what will work for me.
It’s definitely more work and stress than some people realize- I find RUclips videos in particular tend to make it all look so easy. But for some, that work and stress iis still worth it. For others, it’s just fun to do for yourself or as a hobby, indeed. Definitely didn’t mean to burst your bubble! I just felt it important to share a bit of what I’ve learned over the last few years :-)
I found valuable information in all of the letters! I did enjoy your comment on how Opinions, and how some people think it’s terrible to paint wood etc. I feel that ever piece you rescue is the key. You are saving some of these pieces from the landfill and extending its life for decades to come. I also enjoy how much knowledge you have about furniture, and how you save the pieces that other people just pass on. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, I enjoyed all of it. I am just starting and love it. My goal is to make this a full time business so I really appreciate your insight and knowledge!
As I face retirement in about two years, I decided to try my hand at refinishing. You are my mentor and I have been slowly buying tools and supplies I have seen you and a few others use. Thank you for helping to teach this Grammy a new hobby and for the encouragement you give all of us who follow you. What an awesome artist, teacher, refinisher and person you are! Laura
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am a 60 year old great grandma & I love your tattoos! My business is seasonal (greenhouse). I have 6 months I have to figure out a side business for. Your videos are a step in the direction of refinishing furniture. I love saving old pieces.
This is so interesting! Thank you for sharing your insights. As a freelancer, I have to be reminded of the ‘knowing your worth’ thing. It’s too easy to slip in to the ‘I’ll do it cheaper, to make some money’ route, especially if you’re a people pleaser like me! 🤦♀️
I love your work. I'm from South Africa and I think that you have the correct approach. I am a fan. Canadians are very careful and caring. Keep up the wonderful work. Those that are critical, are ignorant and that breeds arrogance towards your work. Educate, educate, educate, that is the only solution. I teach every day to critical people and have come to a conclusion that ignorance breeds arrogance and aggression and the antidote is education. Love your work. Thank you
Angie this video is fantastic! I’m just looking to do this for a hobby and some side money in my retirement but every thing you said is completely to the point and then some. It is clear you have evolved your craft with time and hard work. But the best thing I think about you is you. Your straightforward, friendly with a little snark thrown in for fun way makes me appreciate you even more.
Haha!! I was listening to this on night shift last night (I'm a nurse/midwife in Australia)! - picked up some chairs on my way home and had to have a laugh as I spent 20 minutes killing mud wasps that were hatching from under the chairs on movement to get them into my shed! Aaarrrgggghhhhh!!! No bites thank goodness! Thank you for your video's they are inspiring and so helpful for a beginner like me!
I know this is an old video, but had to tell you this is one of the best I've seen. You've become my favorite to watch. I have refinished furniture for 50 years. Painting wood used to kill me. I can't wait for warmer weather to paint... thanks!
Angie, Angie, Angie. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I wish we were neighbors. You’re an amazing human and I just love your soul. Thank you for this. I have an entire notebook I’ve taken from your videos and I’ve just come across this gem of a class! I’m not sure how I’ve missed this 2-part series. But wow! What value. I looked into an online course like this from someone I met in a furniture group on FB…and let me tell ya….they want $950 for this class and it’s not this comprehensive. I’m not kidding. They say, “there’s no value in free”. However, I have found this absolutely INVALUABLE to my business and I am beyond grateful. Keep allowing your heart to lead you. You’re an old soul and even though extremely smart and talented, it’s your heart and soul that truly shine in your approach to life. Xoxo
Carrie, Carrie, Carrie. Girl, you are too kind! I'm so glad you found the videos, and that they're helpful. 😊Thank you, again X one hundred now, for watching!!
Just practice, keep learning and multi tasking. These are all so true and refreshing to hear. I started practicing and learning on pieces I would get for free…the experience and what I learned while making mistakes have gotten me to the place I am today. Mistakes are frustrating but in a way they are also priceless as they have made me so much better! The difference between a beginner and someone more advanced is knowing how to fix mistakes when they happen and of course avoid repeating them in the future. I learn something new every time I do something. As far as multi tasking goes, this is something I agree with you on and need to get better at when I have the space.
For sure, this is a wealth of information Angie. This video is really good in providing so many tips and personal experience to share with your RUclips fans. I’m very thankful that you took the time to do. You are extremely talented , real and easy to listen to. Be well and continue to do YOU! Thanks
I genuinely want to thank you for this video as well as pt 2. While I have been too chicken to try to call what I do a business. I have always been in love with wood, paint, and transformations, these videos break it down in a way that I can visualize maybe, just maybe I could make this love work. Of course, there is still so much I need to figure out but your videos have been an eye-opener in a good way. Sincerely, Vk
Thank you. I really appreciate you educating the buyers and the sellers. It hopefully weeds out the insincere on both sides. I have fought the ‘bargain hunters’ all my life who don’t value the work I do. I’m almost 70 and still have to work every day. I love what I do and will do it until I die. Many of the RUclipsrs have spouses and/or other sources of income so they have a safety net, so they don’t get it. Thanks you again.
As others have already said, your videos are an joy to watch and incredibly helpful, and thank you so much for sharing them. I’ve loved every single one. Aside from the interest of seeing the actual work, your voice and video presentation are so soothing and pleasant. Your finished pieces are totally gorgeous - I would be overjoyed to have any of them in my home (but alas, I am in the UK!) And please keep ignoring the ignorant haters. You (and your tattoos) are fabulous. :-)
Hey Angie, that was an extremely informative video from the business aspect of flipping furniture. So on point, and it applies to so many different small businesses and endeavors. Many sections of info stood out to me, and while I'm not looking to get into the business, I found them so interesting over all. I couldn't agree with you more about people needing to take on the responsibility of researching and proactively learning as much as possible about anything that interests them, rather than simply contacting someone to ask for a step by step outline. I've learned to do things through watching zillions of youtube videos, (building furniture, gardening, making beautiful things from cement, decorating cookies, etc etc) and it's a matter of layering and cataloging different bits of knowledge until you've accumulated enough background to get started. Your own experience teaches you tips and tricks as well, and quite frankly, a lot of time and work goes into gathering a depth of knowledge about anything, and it can almost be offensive for someone to assume or expect that you could take all that you've learned and simply write it out for them. It's kind of like, I did the work to get where I am, and you need to do the same... hopefully my videos will assist you with that. After all, that's why your videos are viewable. "Watch what I do, listen to my explanations along the way, then ask (if need be) about something specific in that video." Anyway, I'm so terribly sorry that you experienced bullying while growing up. There are few things more cruel that children (peers) can do to each other, and I can't imagine what's happened in their own homes to cause them to choose to purposely spend their time hurting someone else. I was blessed with raising two boys who thought nothing of telling a bully, "Not today, my friend. Find something better to do and leave _______ alone." Again, Angie, great video! You really have something that works for you, and it's a joy to watch you create in every one of your videos!
What an awesome video explaining the business end of flipping furniture. You are a good teacher. We enjoy watching you transform furniture. Don't let people get you down. Hoping you hit 100,000. Subscribers!
I have only done a few simple refinishing jobs in my lifetime and don't plan to do it as a job (you DO make it look easy, but it is exhausting) but I have learned so much from your videos which improves my work around home. Especially informative for me was why I would sometimes get swirl marks in my sanding--I hated them so much and sanded them out by hand or painted the piece instead! I DO sometimes press too hard, have usually used too low a grit no matter what the job (80), and moved my sander too fast. I've learned so much besides this from your interesting, as well as entertaining, videos. You also impress your audience with your work ethic & positivity. We get the feeling that you enjoy what you do, even as you treat your projects with respect and seriousness! Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Hey Angie, great video! K was my favorite. Keep learning is so true! I've been refinishing furniture for about 40 years. I just started painting furniture about 2 years ago. I don't think I already know everything because I don't. I do lots of research and I'm learning, every piece is better than the last one. Oh, btw I love your tattoos! Have a great day!!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity! I love old furniture too. A long time ago I did some refinishing… when paint was a lazy persons choice lol. Today I love the new modern paint/stain combo look and as I enter retirement I am setting up to update and refinish several pieces collected over the years. Thank you so very much for the inspiration to get back to doing something I loved when I was younger. And your work is really really nice!
Angie, As I was listening to your commentary I was thinking about why I watch your videos immediately! Your voice is pleasant, calming and just overall not annoying. Your furniture transformations are breathtaking and I mean that! I’m learning a lot and appreciate you offering apprenticeship. Thanks for clarifying mid century modern. That is a pet peeve of mine. I see ads all the time with mislabeled furniture. You are truly inspiring.
Thank you Angie for the invaluable insider information about running a furniture refurb business. You have such wealth of skill in the creative and business aspects. I admire your talent and accomplishment. Thank you for sharing so much with lots of us who are keen to learn. May your success continue to increase. You are an encouragement to others of us who have experienced bullying. Best regards. G Ire
You’re are so inspirational. I have quite a bit of refinish and painting knowledge. I have lesser hands-on experience. Watching your videos are making me want to start up again. It’s hard work. It’s rewarding.
So much good info! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this out there! I don’t have a business, but I always come away with some helpful tips for working on my own pieces.
Wow! So much great advice in this video! I have done a lot of furniture flipping over the years, and am hoping to up my game a little. Thanks for sharing so much of your knowledge. Can't wait to watch part two now! :-)
Absolutely love this, packed full of fantastic information. I can't pick one favorite - they all are so very helpful. I've only sold one piece and yes its very stressful and time consuming. But I love the process of the restoration of a piece of furniture. Thank you for your time and information.
OMG no WAY i could pick just ONE letter!!! Angie, you are the most selfless person on YT. I was more than happy learning from ur regular content, but this video went way beyond what most people will generally share about their profession! They either don't want more competition, or just dont want to put the extra effort in. Lol. I am just starting to get serious again about making furniture rehab my full time profession (I started back in 2014 wfter repainting a few pcs for my home, but i HAD TO work full time back then and I quickly got overwhelmed) and getting all this gold in one video is truly priceless to me! So thank you so very much for sharing with us in less than an hour, what took u years to learn! 🥰
I have only recently found your channel because I am upgrading my bedroom on a budget and wanted something unusual and different that wouldn't break the bank! I bought 2 bedside tables for £5 (don't know what that is in Canadian dollars!) They are 70's cheap and cheerful factory pieces so not the end of the world if I mess up! All this rambling is really just to say I love all your videos and furniture! This video in particular even tho its not aimed at me really as I'm not planning on starting a business still had so much useful information! So thank you for taking the time to make it! I'm going to watch part 2 in the morning! Can't wait! Xx
Awesome video, even 2 years later! Thank you Angie, my wife and I just found your channel and we love watching your videos. So well done, great voice and videography. So much detail, thank you for taking the time. I think making videos takes as much time as working on the piece your shooting. Take care.
I love your open nature and honesty. I can tell from watching similar videos from other refinishers, you are more professional and put more love and effort into your work. Those who can't see it don't deserve your recognition...you'll never change those who don't get it. Let your hard work speak for itself and be an unspoken success to your business. Best from Boise, ID
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us all. So much valuable information in just one video a lot that I have experienced and much that I haven’t. Oh and I absolutely adore your tattoos!!
It's still surprises me that people take time to write nasty comments, especially about something unrelated to what the video is actually about (I'm talking about that tattoo comment you mentioned). Glad you don't let it get to you. I think you are amazing!! Tattoos and all😊. ❤ from Sydney🇦🇺
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am in my early 60s and seriously thinking about starting my own furniture restoration business. I am at the first stages and am taking in all the knowledge I can absorb from the many you tubers you are generous enough to share their experience and knowledge! First and foremost, you're awesome and your work isn't to bad either : )) I love a good sense of humor!! Beautiful work. you definitely inspire me.
Thanks for all your tips- I just do a few pieces here and there because I also work full time. I agree with everything you’ve said! Practice makes perfect! I like the point of always keep learning!
Angie your channel is the most amazing one I’ve ever seen! These are so useful to learning the whole business side of it. I’m in AWE of your skills and every piece you do, it’s a pleasure to watch it. Keep videos coming please. I watch them avidly and I’m not even a restorer! 😂 you’re amazingly talented and have incredible taste! Keep them coming! Love your work and ps:? Your voice is so perfect for videos, you radiate calm and confidence. Perfect Also, you sharing your talent and amazing knowledge is a gift to all of us. I’m personally just learning with you what I’d need to restore my own home furniture. Your videos are incredibly knowledgeable and easy to learn from, and besides you only use great quality materials, which makes it easier to imagine the finished work. Thank you, and please ignore the naysayers and any negative relating to your amazing work. You’re incredible, and one of the top, best in the business! Keep up the great work. Hello from Atlanta, Georgia USA!
So happy you chose Just Practice First for J! I have been inspired by you to try my hand, so I picked a pine side table that was left behind by a previous tenant at my business, they had painted it black (with wall paint). Since I don't really care about the piece, I figure if I mess it up, no great loss! I have several pieces that are stepping up in quality and complexity, so I have made a "learning path" for myself! Thank you for all the amazing info you share! You are so talented as an artist (and the furniture you restore is definitely art!).
I have been following atleast half a dozen artists in the furniture business for a couple of years now and I have to say you have become my favorite. I've learned a great deal by watching all these folks but seeing I'm in Canada....and in a suburb of Montreal, I found that following a fellow Canadian has been more beneficial to my business than following someone from the U.S. for several reasons. 1: Not all the products they work with are available to us. 2: I find our market is very different (or smaller) than that of the Americans that I follow but the big one for me is the "repairs" aspect of this business. While I'm not afraid of repairing furniture and actually enjoy it, I don't always know how to go about it. I really appreciate you showing us how you do it. I decided to make this business my full time job this March and I'm loving every minute of it. Keep the videos coming.....I really appreciate all you do.
Your advice should be considered for ANY business. I was custom quilter for two decades. I know my limitations and I know my abilities. You've pointed out that there is soooo much to consider in the cost of doing business.
Congrats! I am an Industrial designer and really know how much work you did to get those amazing pieces of yours. You are a very talented, inteligent and kind person! keep going and stay inspiring us! PD. I like your tatoos :)
I’ve watched most of your videos and I am so impressed with your overall business savvy. You’ve really got this and your the skills that you have learned along the way are not only valuable but they transferable to any future endeavour that you might consider. Well done, Angie. You should be proud. Kathleen
I'm not a furniture refinisher (except a few pieces for my own home), but I do sell things online now and then. Many of your tips are excellent for anyone in loads of different ways. Staging, safety, costing, deliveries, etc. Thank you.
Appreciate your time making this series; keep learning was most helpful - I have been for about a year and it seems like I am still getting stuck when I’m working on a project, it can be discouraging. Thank you 😊
Hello
I’ve been an artist for over 30 years.
You are sooo right. Haha Thankfully most people have been amazing! :-)
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery There are far more kind people than unkind. The unkind ones roam around to make their numbers look bigger.
As a high school economics teacher, I appreciate how you share a full description of costs. Keep up the good work!
Letter “L Listing” was perfect timing for me as I am Listing my fist piece for sale.
Hi, I've watched your videos from the beginning and love to see how your confidence has grown
I'm in the UK and after watching your videos I'm considering this as a side hustle
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge 😊
Thank YOU for watching, and good luck with your projects! :-)
I cannot get enough of everything you upload! I sincerely love and respect what you do. ❤️🇨🇦
That's definitely a great point, love it!
Thank you for this-invaluable, super appropriate, not-so-common sense-it’s impressive.
I love your work, every single piece
I daydream that one day I would be able to do that quality work
You should be very proud of your work
The furniture that you do is so amazing and you do put tons of time in it.
(Okay, that’s just a creepy comment from me, but it’s true!)
Best wishes to you!
This channel has been my go to for knowledge and inspiration💝🌟
Thank you for being so humble and being YOU😍🙏
You have very quickly become my favorite channel! It’s motivated me to start refinishing some pieces, mostly for my home, I’m definitely not ready to even think about selling.
Also, you have really kind eyes…is that weird? Yeah, that’s weird. Anyway, thanks for making these incredible videos!
Hahah thank you! Weird is my jam. ☺️ ❤️
Thanks so much for watching!
Congratulations for being able to do what you love full time! Thank you for sharing so much knowledge, this was a great video and really helpful.
Thank you for this! I feel like we just sat down for tea and talked this through. So helpful!
You’ve given amazing advice and it’s given me a lot to think about for sure! I can’t wait for part two!
Oh wow! You're incredibly welcome!!! Thank you so much for this comment, it means a lot. ❤️
I love your work and I appreciate your frankness in this video.
Looking
forward to your next video!
I just felt it important to share a bit of what I’ve learned over the last few years :-)
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery No, you were realistic and that’s ok.
You’re just the absolute best Angie, I LOVE watching your videos
Thanks so much, I enjoyed all of it. I am just starting and love it. My goal is to make this a full time business so I really appreciate your insight and knowledge!
As I face retirement in about two years, I decided to try my hand at refinishing. You are my mentor and I have been slowly buying tools and supplies I have seen you and a few others use. Thank you for helping to teach this Grammy a new hobby and for the encouragement you give all of us who follow you. What an awesome artist, teacher, refinisher and person you are! Laura
Wow, thank you Laura! I'm so glad to be able to assist you with your new hobby and I hope you're having fun! Thanks for watching!
I have been binging on furniture makeover videos. Yours are definitely right at the top! Definitely cross over into art. Thanks for this video.
Thanks
For someone who is camera shy, you’re doing great. You know your “stuff” and I thank you for sharing.
You're very welcome!
Thank you so much for watching! I definitely hit the 100,000 subscriber mark so thank you!! 😊
Angie your right on point people believe because you are refinishing a piece it's going to be cheap to buy. That is a mind set world wide I believe.
No permitas que los comentarios negativos (que son pocos) te afecten, haces un trabajo espectacular, un abrazo y mi admiración desde España. Saludos.
Hi!! I couldn't believe how lucky I am to have found your videos but more importantly your HONESTY. Its a unique thing these days
Haha- sometimes I’m TOO honest, haha. But I’d rather be that than the opposite! 😂❤️
You're very welcome! I'm glad I can help! Thank you so much for watching! 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I’m looking forward to the second part.
Angie, all the video was so helpful. Thank you for your honesty.
Bonjour Angie! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts insight and experience! Very well appreciated. Have a wonderful day! Christine 🇨🇦
Take care.
You're so welcome! I'm so glad you're enjoying my content! 🙂
As a teacher, I appreciate women who model that is OK for girls to be smart. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching!
I'm so glad. Best of luck with your business venture! Thanks for watching!
Keep doing what you do, it amazes me the creativity and common sense you show in doing what you do,
Thanks for all your tips- I just do a few pieces here and there because I also work full time.
Perfect
Also, you sharing your talent and amazing knowledge is a gift to all of us.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you're enjoying my content!! 😀
Brilliant content delivered perfectly! Lots of great tips and things to learn from. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge!
Oh my word ! What a fantastic video ! So much information. Thank you so much. Going to watch part two tomorrow.
You're so welcome! I'm excited for you! Best of luck with your pieces.
Oh my gosh! Most of your points will apply to any business. You’re an inspiration and a wonderful mentor 😮
Thank you so much!
Thanks for making this video. This has been something I've been considering over the past couple years. I appreciate your time and wisdom.
Thank you 😊
I really appreciate your sense of ethics, and respect for the pieces that you flip.
Your work is exceptional. Only furniture show I watch. You are a real deal artist.
