Finally a doll youtuber that does not live in US and dont make me depressed because they have monster high haha. The Rainbow High doll is not really giving me hollidays, shes pretty but overprised for nothing
The thing with Roxie is that she looks almost exactly like Ayesha but is twice the price. And she comes with less stuff. Had she looked in any way different from the other RH dolls that came out this year people probably would have liked her more.

I have Tinkerbell and the redhead Barbie. I was bummed that I missed the 12 Days of Christmas Silkstone style Barbie. She looks so classic and pretty. The Bob Mackie Angel doll that just came out is gorgeous too. Happy Christmas Joey! I always look forward to your videos.

Definitely agree with the coat for the RH doll. She looks rather plain for a holiday doll and a huge, fluffy white coat would've brought her to the next level.
Seeing all the Disney dolls being high quality makes me excited for when my favorite princesses eventually come out. Can't wait to see Merida!
The fact that the Barbie doll is more expensive than the Tinkerbell doll just shows that Barbie is utter trash, and charges based on brand name alone. In my local stores, they're charging $80 CAD and there's no way in hell she's worth that much. I got my RH Rainbow Vision dolls for less than that and not only are they far better quality, they come with so many accessories! Thank goodness other lines are willing to put in effort so we have options.

The Barbie doll, I like the idea of the skirt. Sure, it could do with a bit more elegance and dazzle. But the top leaves more to be desired. It’s way too plain

For the most part, yes. But Bob Mackie Holiday Angel Doll and the Barbie Extra Fancy Millie says otherwise. Barbie can still be the glamour queen every once in a while.
@@homeboyeric5433 You do make an excellent point but this is Barbie we're talking about ! She used to put her flamboyant, fantasy and over the top spin on EVERYTHING she used to do , like the "I can be" Barbies from the 2000s and early 2010s or the basic budget Barbies from around 1994 . They may have all been tone down a bit but but they still had that flair that barbie is known for .
Saying never is a bit too much. Who knows maybe one day Barbie will decide to return to the throne she left in 2016..

i think your ranking is right that tinkerbelle is stunning , the rainbow high is very crystal barbie i think maybe some green and red and gold in that outfit or a feather boa would work ,love the barbie but crystals in red and green around the petals would bring this doll alive and a green boa would be better
I love Macy's (in NYC) at Christmas time, and of course the amazing window displays. I feel like the Rainbow High doll in that huge box was supposed to be inspired by a Macy's window display complete with the moving element. I could be COMPLETELY WRONG, but just in my opinion that's what it reminds me of.
yes i think your right on the box display , i think christmas for department stores are just very any time of the year with that geometrical rubbish harvey nichols was doing that years ago
The Barbie Bob Mackie Holiday Angel was a nice release as well.
I want the dark skinned Holiday Barbie. I love that she has freckles! Ive never sent that on a darker skinned doll. Her face is the cutest.
But yea the dress is disappointing.

I got a Tinkerbell doll today and was really surprised by her, she's stunning out of her box she also could be a Christmas tree topper also think that £40 isn't a bad price to pay.
The Monster High roll out has been just as atrocious here in the U.S. There has just been an inconsistency of the dolls available in both Target and Walmart. The Howliday Draculara has been in and out of stock since her release thanks to scalpers who have made it impossible to get her at retail. I was finally able to order her from Target but won't get until after Christmas and that is fine with me.
For the Holiday Barbie, gold and glittery threading at the edges of the poinsettia petals would have looked stunning. We have gold-edged poinsettia decors for our Christmas tree, and they look beautiful under the fairy lights. 🙂

Honestly for the rainbow High doll I would prefer it in a red dress and maybe with like a with like a green jacket with like some Christmas designs on it and some mistletoe because the box has like no Christmas design on it to be honest Joey

It's not just in the UK that Mattel is sucking! In the USA, the Drama Reel dolls were/are impossible to get and the Holiday Draculara, JUST became available to order through Target but it is back ordered until January! And who know if it will even arrive then. Even the Creepover and regular release Monster High dolls are scarce and hard to find.
I actually think that the playline Holiday Barbie is cuter than the collector one! I have my eye out for the brunette with the side looking eyes.
saw holiday barbie in store recently and I thought the same thing! Really sad bc I remember having some really cool holiday ones as a kid..
I think the rainbow high doll has that little turntable ability for the collectors who dont want to take them out the box but want to see the doll a bit more from each side. IDK just made that up in my head but sounds nice right LOL. When you took the Rainbow High out the box, I was able to see the iridescent better on her dress.
Tinkerbell is one of my favorite characters, so I was happy to see that they made a special edition doll. I love her outfit, love the details on everything, I was pleased to see the cute little leggings and shoes on her, loved the wings (thou how cool would it be if they lite up or glowed🤔) and overall was pleasantly happy with this Tinkerbell.
As for the Holiday Barbie when you were talking about how it was inspired by a poinsettia plant and how you felt the dress was unfinished, I agree. They could have added like you said some bedazzle to the dress, but what I think that would be cool is if under the poinsettia pedals the under-dress part was green like the base/stem on the poinsettia plant. I think it would really make it look great and complement each other. Even if they added another layer of pedals and have just a bit of green under-dress, I think that would have made it amazing.
Im a huge Monster High Fan and I live in the US so I might just need to go get myself one.

I was curious what your opinion was about this years Holiday Barbie. My daughter was super disappointed about this years. I felt like it was a repeat with the Poinsettia theme but I do like the red haired Holiday Barbie. I agree her face is beautiful. The dress is missing the sparkle.

Barbies dress should have been trimmed with gold, kinda like barbie 1989 I think. But I luv the red hair.

The Rainbow High doll needs some cool Holiday accessories for that price, although I saw her today for $39.99 on Amazon! I just snagged the 2022 12 Days of Christmas Barbie limited edition Advent Calendar. Somehow she was on Targets website (in the US) for $150! $10 off her original price! She sold out immediately when she was on the Barbie Creations website. I found her last week and she already arrived!
I choose Monster High . If in 1992 to 2009 , I will choose Barbie . But today I still love 90's vintage Holiday Barbie .

I'm having an existential crisis...trying to figure out the REAL value of things in our lives. Definitely love dolls and I understand why we pay more for holiday dolls, but are they really worth the price? For the quality we are getting, the Holiday Barbie, despite her beautiful face is just not worth $50 (IMHO). Maybe if she came in a dress made with good fabric, some articulation, a doll stand, some basic accessories like a brush, a clutch, some jewelry pieces...MAYBE then she'd be worth $50. Mini brands can make a quality purse and some accessories for about $10, Barbie dolls are roughly $10 (basic fashionistas), and a fashion pack with mediocre outfits are about $8...so for an extra $20+ can we get a holiday doll that TRULY fulfills our holiday wishes? *sigh* I'm thinking about going on strike and not purchasing any dolls until there is some improvement with Mattel. Not into the big headed RH dolls, though their quality is much better. And the latest MH dolls-- well I only really like Draculaura but the few I've seen in stores seem to have screening issues.

The stand in the Rainbow High box was suppose to stay in the box and you could use the box as a special display for her. :)

I have the Holiday Draculaura and have just got the Bob Mackie Angel Barbie. I’m planning on getting Tinker Bell and this year’s holiday Barbie. I want the Asian one. I think the black hair contrasts nicely with the red dress.

You are so right about the Redheaded Barbie. She was hard to find and more pricey than the other holiday ones. They should have glamed her up more. I was surprised that I was able to order the Bob Mackie Angel. The Mark Ryen dolls were to pricey for me. They sold out on the Mattel website

It's só freaky weird that monster high came to brazil and not in UK, but in brazil we only have the booproductions and the reel drama
I have all of the holiday dolls with the exception of the RH doll. I will say that I do agree MH doll launches have been a mess. Most of the dolls with the exception of the G3 dolls are hard to find. I’m in the states but the creep production dolls never arrived in my area. The reel drama dolls have been a nightmare to get/find when they are available. I was lucky to get the Howliday Draculaura when she launched on Mattel Creations but she sold out so fast. I agree Mattel knows we are willing to spend our money but they just have not been delivering/meeting the high demands for MH dolls. I do plan on embellishing my red head holiday Barbie’s dress it is much too plain. And the Tinker bell holiday doll is stunning. I will say of all holiday dolls my favorite is the Barbie 12 days of Christmas set.

The Monster High doll might come out for the Holiday period but she does not say Christmas . She still says Halloween . So , despite the poor quality of her outfit , the choice is either Barbie or the cute Tinkerbell for me .

The Rainbow High doll is beautiful, but the price? It's 80,00 EUR here in Germany and she doesn't even have a second outfit or accessories besides the turning stand. Rainbow High dolls are good quality in general, so she doesn't stand out enough to be worth that much money.
As a HUGE Monster High collector, and someone who would love to someday live in the UK…it’s so frustrating to hear all of the UK fans aren’t getting ANYTHING. They’re not even trying!!
Wdym Cleopatra is hard to find? She is in every SmythsToys store on sale for £77 I believe O-o She is easy to find in the UK in my experience
well this certainly made me order Tinkerbell , i have and really love the monster high one, i had to get her of Mattel creations..and barely got one before it sold out, i have yet to see her in any stores and trust me i drove to alot looking for her, the rainbow high on is pretty but way to expensive, maybe she will go on sale cyber monday..fingers crossed,..ohh side note on disney site she's kinda on sale if you use code MAGIC right now so that 30% off..so after with tax and shipping its 45.92 ..well in US
Ways to improve the Holiday Barbie:
Gold glitter or sequins on the dress
A pretty holiday crown or barrette in her hair
A nice up do for her hair
Some nicer fancy earrings and a pretty bracelet
Her holding a pretty handbag or maybe wearing some nice gloves
See it’s not that hard. Stop being so CHEAP Mattel!!!!! Get some new designers.
I've seen in pictures other Christmas Barbies besides the holiday Barbies I saw a Christmas morning barbie and I'm not sure wat else

As a redhead, I am thrilled to see a redheaded holiday Barbie and hugely disappointed that they gave her such a relatively drab dress. Argh
Barbie is hideous, how dare they skimp to this degree. I'm loving Howliday Draculaura, the bats and balls just kill me. She is absolutely fabulous. Rainbow High is definitely a queen, but like you said, a coat would have done it for me. Tink is so well crafted, but she just doesn't feel like tink to me ♥

I have Holiday Tink and RH Roxie Grand and I love both of them. I guess Hasbro isn't coming out with a holiday doll this year. I wanted the Hasbro special edition Ariel, but I can't find her online in the U.S.
Monster High is also not here in the EU. I'm getting the RH Demi and she'll be both part of my RH collection and my Draculara. I saw Poinsettia Barbie in the shop and man, I could sew that dress easily. She's so boring.

Monster HIgh Howliday Draculaura is VERY HARD for us in the States too...I don't want to pay the Secondary Mark up on Ebay...I also have a membership that I PAY FOR on Mattel's Website...and I could not get a few of the Monster high and some Recent Barbie??? What is the PURPOSE of paying for a membership...when you can't even get a doll??? Seems they need to limit so everyone that has a membership can at least get one...they seem to sell out in minutes...and I have waited for hours and get on..when it is released only to get SOLD OUT...

I accidentally ordered 2 Monster High Draculaura Winter editions from someone. When I realized my error, they wouldn't let me change my order to just one. So I paid a lot. £62 , or $100 Canadian. If anyone in the UK wants to buy it from me, and pay for shipping, I would gladly send it by post. Just let me know.
