      You can use the hard Chrome plating on about any of the steel parts, it is a great durable finish

    Rumor has it from local gun shops that your frames are made over sea, can you do a video about this?

    • @fusionfirearms

      Yes, we will post some videos in the future of the frames being made on our CNC's.

    Bob, can you achieve a high polish like with a black oxide finish with the Black Shield nitrocarburizing?

    • @fusionfirearms
      @fusionfirearms  3 года назад

      Generally not, I have not been successful doing a high polish on the Nitro carb. I can say I have had some success but very limited, most of the time the finish comes back very Spotty with high and low tones. I have never been able to get a consistent high polish finish from this process. But, I love it in the matte finish.

    Whar about the green finish with phosphate?

    • @fusionfirearms
      @fusionfirearms  2 года назад +1

      I am not a fan of it. First of all, the true Phosphate is actually a dull grey and the green is a dye pigment generally put in the oil bath. There is much extra work to Phosphate and you only end up with approximately 8 to 12% better protection than black oxide. So, I generally suggest black oxide or if you want something better, go with our black shield (Nitro Carbonate) finish.

    No offense, but you should kill the music, it's very distracting.
